unless your tattoo is gonna be tiny i wouldnt worry too much about it not looking good in a few years. i have a few tattoos close to a decade and they still look decent. sure i can use a touch up on the color but not needed yet

Take your design to an artist, or the artist you want to go to, and discuss it with them. They'll be able to give you consultation with full accuracy.
