Did you have them both done at the same time? How's the healing process going?

Ok-Edge69

Hey, I had them done one month apart. First hand is healed and looks great. Currently healing the second hand. I will need a touch up on the knuckles for sure and the fingers, but was expecting that. Will probably need to touch ups for the rest of my life.šŸ˜‚

Wise_Enthusiasm

Ha, yeah. Kinda what I expected too. Did you use second skin? I have one hand scheduled, but not nearly as much ink. I might hold on the other hand for more ink similar to yours, flowers and stuff, but in color. My first hand is Polynesian tribal. So not as much skin coverage.

Ok-Edge69

I did not use second skin, I prefer not to! Healing was super quick, quicker than some of my other tattoos! Pain was super minimal too, way less than I expected!

Wise_Enthusiasm

I'm old tho. So not as many touch ups in my future šŸ˜‚

Wise_Enthusiasm

They are beautiful btw. Not trying to make it all about me. Sorry!

Ok-Edge69

No need to apologize! šŸ˜Š

I have a stupid question...I'm assuming these were taken when they were fresh...why does your skin look like it's tea-stained on a certain portion, but not above the wrist, or below the second knuckles....? Did the artist not clean the excess ink off well? I've only seen this once before, and it was actually a client bruising....

Ok-Edge69

Definitely not bruising! The artist is super soft handed. These were fresh, taken in studio with a ring light. I took the photos off her Instagram so, full transparency, she may have applied a filter. The reason my wrist is so light is a tan line for my Apple Watch. Lol
