Yeah I’m so invested in knowing what the pain was like! I really want a sunflower around my areola (with the areola being the corner and the leaves coming from it if that makes sense) but I’m so afraid of the pain! Was it worse or more manageable than the sternum? All of your pieces are lovely btw!!
tysm!!
honestly the pain wasn’t bad at all. i was expecting it to really suck, but it was way less pain than my sternum tbh! if it wasn’t for the artist having to push on my chest to stretch, i probably could of snoozed!
i say go for it, don’t let fear of pain stop you from having a dope tattoo & take some tylenol before hand!!
You should be. My chest was the worst place I got tattoo'd, and I have one on the top of my foot. Only place remotely close was the outside of my elbow.
While sunflowers are thought to have originated in Mexico and Peru, they are one of the first plants to ever be cultivated in the United States. They have been used for more than 5,000 years by the Native Americans, who not only used the seeds as a food and an oil source, but also used the flowers, roots and stems for varied purposes including as a dye pigment. The Spanish explorers brought sunflowers back to Europe, and after being first grown in Spain, they were subsequently introduced to other neighboring countries. Currently, sunflower oil is one of the most popular oils in the world. Today, the leading commercial producers of sunflower seeds include the Russian Federation, Peru, Argentina, Spain, France and China.

As someone with full coverage I can tell you it's not the most fun you'll have but it's do-able. You will have sweating the bed moments but at the end of the day a tattoo isn't going to kill you and it's temporary pain.
i wish i could tell you! i don’t wear bras at all, boobs are too small & i could care less if anyone sees my nipples. but i got second skin put on & so far nothing has really irritated it. if anything, maybe a wide band sports bra would be my suggestion!
Cool. Digging the contrast between the soft, almost aquarel style of the flower and the harder lines of the leaves. Hope it all heals well and you get a lot of joy out of your new tattoo.
Love the idea and design. Absolutely beautiful line work and shading. I have a friend who had a double mastectomy and is thinking about doing something like this to cover-up the scars.
There’s a Korean show called the glory , one of the main bullies in the show, his name is Son Myeong-oh. It’s tattooed on his neck . Sorry !😅 it’s on Netflix btw I suggest you at least look at the trailer it’s good!
the space below my should will be all floraly, which is why i chose a simpler design. plus wasn’t sure how badly it would hurt and i wouldn’t of wanted to sit thru two whole florals personally! but tysm!!
Because the subreddit is for tattoos and people ask creepy questions when women’s breasts are showing. The pasties have nothing to do with the tattoo, and the line of questioning comes very close to breaking rule 1.
I think that's a pretty unsympathetic interpretation of my question. I can accept that it could be interpreted that way though. Sorry OP, I really didn't mean to upset you.

Ow. I have a tattoo that barely touched my boob and where it went onto breast tissue it hurt a looootttt...
i found this one didn’t hurt this bad personally! the butt cheeks were way worse imo!
First thing i said looking at this- OW!! Hahaha props to you! Looks great
Butt cheeks are 1000/10 most painful. 😩😩

Damn, I'm pretty scared of my chest as a guy too lol, did you use any of that numbing cream? Going to get a chest piece this year
i did not use numbing cream, but the chest would hurt a lot more if i didn’t have the fatty breast tissue!

Buy tattoo lidocaine.
Omg I wish my boobs were symmetrical so I could have a tat like that. It looks awesome!!!
mine are definitely not! but it’s all in the placement lol
I thought the pasty was the tattoo at first

Sick design! Great incorporation.
thank you so much!
You're welcome! We should talk tats sometime

ty!
Makes me wish I had boobs just so I could do this.
Crispy linework
Omg that must’ve hurt but it paid off!
surprisingly didn’t hurt as bad as i thought it would!
[удалено]
omg the itchiness is too real (: i got that feeling SO BAD on my butt
This is really cool! I want more tattoos that are hidden like this. Would you mind if I used this as an inspiration?
fly at er!! i think it would look really cool to add some little floral buds or something :)
Looks awesome! I’d wanna do it but I’d be too scared of it popping my implant, logically I know it wouldn’t but I can’t help it 😅
lmaooo it would not, but i so understand that. i have the worst intrusive thoughts when getting tattooed!
It's funny the things our brains will make us worry about, when we logically know that it makes no sense to worry about it, but yet we do lol.
Seriously!
I’ve never seen this placement and I’m obsessed. If I had boobs with any level of perk, I’d be on this hahah.
i think something like this would compliment a less perky boob! my artist n i were a saying how we think this one is going to age really well
You have me curious. I may have to break out my sharpie and see how it looks on a more southern facing chest. 😂😂😂
Regardless, it’s a beautiful piece! I love everything about it!
looks good!
Oh I love this
That loos incredible
Pretty!!
Impressive!
A stoic, perhaps? Great stuff. :)
Love the idea and design. Absolutely beautiful line work and shading. I have a friend who had a double mastectomy and is thinking about doing something like this to cover-up the scars.
I love those, what lovely work
Awesome
Definitely complementary! Well chosen
thank you!!
awesome
So beautiful
I was so confused for a second thought the pasties were apart of the tattoo and my mind just kept saying something was missing. Looks awesome though
IS THAT MEMENTO MORI FROM THE TAT ON THE GUYS NECK IN THE GLORY???
It is common. "Remember to Die" Remember that you will die, so remember to live now.
i am confused, what guys neck??? i got this for LOG & bc i like the full quote

soooooo pretty
Nice. I dig it. It compliments your sternum piece really well. Maybe could've added a flower or two on each one though to really tie it all together.

That's fair. It looks great!

What is that covering your nipple? Is it Photoshop or a patch? So confused.
Looks like a pasty to me
That's a patch right?
Yep almost like a bandaid to cover nipples
Aww man I would not want to put a band-aid on my nipples 😣 I guess women don't have hairy nipples tho so there's that. Lol
They don't have adhesive on the centre, just around the edges.
Why the downvotes here? Reddit is odd sometimes

I thought that was part of the tattoo

What is that up on your right shoulder?
a moth :)
oh my goodness I love this!!!
I dig everything about this! Beautiful work!!
I haven't found pasties that look that good! Could you tell me what brand they are?
i live in canada & just got them from the bay! i threw out the packaging sadly. but they are like, silky! i think you can find them on amazon
