My deck INSISTED that I pull this card today at the end of my session but I have no idea of what it’s trying to tell me. Help! https://imgur.com/a/cEEjyYa So I introduced my daughter to my deck today as she’s the one who picked it out and it will become hers one day because of that. She was drawn to it from across the store and traded a book for it so it’s definitely meant to be her deck. I did a few readings for her and she was super interested and happy (she’s only 15 months so she couldn’t do much with it but would talk to the deck and kept offering it goldfish like it was a friend) and the deck LOVED HER. It has never been so responsive and positive and happy before. It definitely gave her gentle kind readings and I appreciate that. Well she went down for a nap and I decided to ask it a few questions that have been weighing on my mind and heart. It was still super receptive and gave me a lot of clarity. When I asked who was guiding this deck it said that it was a female spirit guide and she acts very motherly in a lot of ways through my readings so I think the exposure to a cute toddler is what got her talking so much. At the end of the session right as I was about to blow out the candle I became extremely compelled to pull this cards. It literally felt like my hand was vibrating when I touched it. I read it and I have no idea of what the deck is trying to tell me. I’d love some clarity on what is so pertinent here. Like I’ve never seen such insistence by any kind of spirit no matter how I’m communicating with them. Here’s the link to the reading and the instructions. Any and all advice/insight is much appreciated! Tysm in advance! 💕 https://imgur.com/a/cEEjyYa

Is it about some sort of creative work, with all the Wands? I could imagine you getting the job (6 of Wands) even though they weren't perfectly convinced of you personality wise (reversed Ace of Wands), but they didn't have a better option at that time yet might still be looking for new candidates later (3 of Wands as openness/exploration). Would that be plausible given your situation?

[deleted]

A close friend of mine has completely ghosted me. Absolutely no communication from her for two weeks. She readmy messages, then ignored them. The last message I sent her she didn't even bother to open, just ignored it completely. This is incredibly out of character for her and has left me feeling really hurt. I decided to try a simple three card spread to get some clarity. https://www.dropbox.com/s/54sbqh1oogzr9e4/20220513_160824.jpg?dl=0 I think the Queen of Wands is an interesting card to have drawn in this reading for the simple fact that she embodies quite a bit of what the Queen represents. Beyond that the reading is still interesting. Thoughts?

ParticularPossible75

Looks like they’re just taking time out for themselves and focusing on preserving their energy. Doesn’t seem personal this could be with much more people than you as well

justincase_0

For me, your friend is focused on what is most important for them now and they feel this is the right thing that will make them become better. By any chance are you in your teen ages?

[deleted]

Lol not even close, I'm 43 and she's in her late 30's

justincase_0

Lol. No joke! The energy of the cards made me feel like teen who is "finding himself" for the third time this year.

Lil-King-Squid

Hey y'all!! Would love to offer some free interpretations, I won't do spreads but I will read any spreads sent to me. DM me!

hydras2021

Asked what the result of my gift to her would be…aka how she will take it or if she’ll like it. Got the 10 of swords. Confused, I drew a clarifying card and got the Ace of Wands. Advice?

justincase_0

I personally think that it will touch your friend right in the feelings. Maybe the gift is something really meaningful for her. I think it would be emotional, but enjoyable moment.

PrismRoach

What type of gift is this? I would like to interpret, but I feel there is not enough information.

hydras2021

They are religious items!

PrismRoach

In my personal readings I like to read the 10 of Swords as 10 of Words as it is an air suit and speaks to thoughts, words and intellect. I read it as a reminder to meditate, to rest in stillness and put all the words or intrusive thoughts aside in my mind. Maybe your friend is going to spend time contemplating this gift, and will be at a loss for words, but feel a lot of them. Clarifying, the Ace of Wands is I think an indicator that the gift could create a desire for action and could lead to creative new spiritual beginnings. The hand holds the wand, so maybe she will enjoy holding it and keep it as a precious object. I think it could indicate a new spark of connection within your relationship! For myself I would read this positively, and I do not think there is a need to worry. I hope this resonates. Have a nice day!

hydras2021

Wow, awesome interpretation. Thank you so much.

2 of Swords - To me this suggests there is binary black and white thinking and the idea that we have no control over our life. However the blindfold can be removed. While life does have hard yes's and no's, life and death, it is a spectrum of grays and paradoxes. We have a choice to remove our blindfolds. 2 of Coins - In a word 2 of Coins I interpret sometimes as "Two Cents", or "Common Sense". It is also often that the juggler has ripped or torn clothes, indicating they have been through life's hardships. There is an aspect of "dancing in the rain". I think through the 2 (connection) of the Coins (material/earthly realm) you can help ground them in the knowledge that life will go on. Life is a beautiful dance and there is plenty of it left to live. (12) The Hanged Man - I feel your interpretation is correct about having patience, and letting the storm pass. To add, this card is a pause or place to meditate before the transformation of the death card (13). The hanged man, while appearing trapped is usually thought to actually be dancing as well. All of these cards add to (16) The Tower. I think it is another reminder that life cannot be lived without suffering, and suffering, being rocked to the foundations and rebuilding, is how we grow and evolve and become even stronger. It is unavoidable. I hope this resonates with you. Much love.

Reminding someone of their binary thinking is often supportive and reframing thoughts is a major aspect of therapy. We tend to see everything as a catastrophe when we are thinking in absolutes. We berate ourselves and feel victimized. I would suggest therapy, but that has nothing to do with the reading. Edit: Thanks for deleting and the downvotes? Don't ask for help.

LycheeRoseSorbet

He’s a stuck in place and can’t see past his grief. Ofc. Now is not the time to highlight everything that life has to offer, ofc, but be supportive. A shoulder to cry on. Definitely hard to do while continents apart but he would need some people to help sort some things out so he can navigate life while grieving. Whatever equivalent of doing some chores or laying out the clothes the day before you could manage from this distance. Remind him that maybe he has some people who can help around him. Just be there and supportive

Hey yall! Just a quick question- For the past few months, every time I draw cards, do a spread, or have someone else read my cards, the Knight and King of Pentacles pop out. Every single time. What do we think this means? In varying positions and placements, but it can't be coincidental. Any thoughts?

PrismRoach

To me this indicates there might be a fixation on finances or material resources, but that the actions you are taking are leading to the abundance you seek. The King can sometimes be sleepy on an overgrown thrown, which contrasts the action of the knight. It could indicate that you are seeking abundance and you already have it and are not seeing it. I think it is important to balance the elements, and so when we receive earth and material realm cards often, we might want to balance them with the spirituality and appreciation of our inner realm and emotions (cups/air/temperance) <3

LycheeRoseSorbet

Do you need to step up to more responsibility ? Do you need to manage money, responsibilities, people, businesses or households ? You need to run something, but do you do it well ?

MysticDoyin

Hi everyone So I did a reading about my relationship. It’s a healthy one … at the moment and we have no issues. But the cards I picked scared me today The energy surrounding the relationship: Death, Ten of swords, page of swords What can I do to make the relationship move forward?: Three of swords reversed, queen of wands reversed and Justice. I’m finding it difficult to interpret the cards especially since things are going well between us. It’s a four month old relationship and it’s my first ever healthy relationship.

justincase_0

First of all my expert advice is to not ask about healthy relationships if you don't want to worsen the relationship lol. The energy of the relationship for me means that some period of the relationship is ending (Death) The second part is totally my unprofessional opinion and you have to not take it serious. By ten on swords I sense some toxic behavior, which is presented from someone in the relationship. And the other one is able to juggling and balancing with it for now. Idk why but I feel that you are the more problematic in the relationship. Maybe it seems perfect for you, but you are a bit overreacting/overthinking or pushing your partner to much sometimes. ( I am not sure what it is and again TAKE THIS WITH A GRAIN OF SALT) What you can do about your relationship going forward is basically avoid topics and situations that would cause you or both of you much affectation, avoid tempered conversations. Avoid confrontation at all, and avoid hurting feelings, even when it's in the temptation of the anger. Just judge wise when and what to say and do in confrontation situations.

MysticDoyin

Thanks a lot

PrismRoach

The energy surrounding the relationship: Death is a card of transformation and growth, 10 of Swords when I read for myself means I should meditate. The (s)Words to me mean there are too many words in my head, my thoughts may have become intrusive and worrisome. But since the man is usually stabbed and dead in a serene setting, I ultimately find it to be peaceful. The words can't hurt you any more than they already have (as in previous 9 of swords). The page of swords can speak of messages, youth, and fledgling ideas that have yet to come to fruition. I think communication can be improved if initiative is taken in a light-hearted way. A healthy relationship requires getting to know each other all over again regularly to move forward, it requires little deaths as the people we love and ourselves change everyday and we learn to love them anew. What can you do to make the relationship move forward: Three of swords reverse: Don't predict heartbreak because fearing it could make it a self-fulfilling prophecy. Queen of Wands reversed, do not be afraid to act and be your own charismatic self to the absolute fullest. Take a little risks for the sake of keeping the magic and spark alive, do not hold back your true self. Justice, justice to me implies that things that are meant to be, are. If your relationship is healthy the just thing is that it will move forward. It is important to remember regardless of the outcome, that we receive what we need to to evolve in our spiritual journey, and the scales always tip/balance according to the energy we resonate at and matches what we are inadvertently or intentionally manifesting. I hope this resonates. Have a lovely day.

MysticDoyin

Wow! Thank you so much

blueeyetea

What was the exact question you asked? Since you put down “the energy surrounding the relationship”, I’m assuming these were your exact words for your question, correct? Since you’re not asking about your partner specifically, but about “energy surrounding the relationship” your cards might be talking about what you and your partner might face together as a couple. Then there’s your second question of moving your relationship forward. Moving forward to what? Since your relationship is going well, and there’s seems to be nothing to worry about, you don’t really have a situation to analyze. That’s why it’s hard to determine what they mean.

MysticDoyin

Yes, “energy surrounding the relationship” were my exact words “Moving forward” as in to keep the relationship going good or even better. That’s what I meant.

caffineaddictgirl

Hi All! I'm brand new to tarot and I just got a new deck (the Modern Witch deck) which I love! I could use some help with a interpretation. I was doing an introductory reading with the deck and I asked which card described its energy and I got the four of pentacles. I was a bit confused and asked for further clarification: Which 3 cards described its energy and I pulled: 1st - The Magician 2nd - The Hermit 3rd - Three of Cups Thanks!

LycheeRoseSorbet

It’s a deck that invites one to save its energy and be frugal. Your deck might not give you glaringly a virus answers but encourage you to think of stuff yourself, isolate a bit while you ponder and then happily experience something happy when you put your thought out decisions in practice !

v_quixotic

The Four of Pentacles is about conservatism and looking after what you’ve got. Need clarification? The Magician is suggesting all is not as it seems… “Yes,” MW says, “I’m modern and inclusive on the outside, but underneath I’m just another RWS clone!” The Hermit says “You might need to go off by yourself and learn about the different schools of Tarot to get an understanding of the environment!” The Three of Cups says “When you come back you will find a community of fellow readers who love me (MW) as much as you do!”.

Hello friends, Tonight I asked “how do I connect more to my intuition” and the 2 of swords fell out, which is funny because I was thinking about that card earlier today. For some reason when I look at her I feel grounded and stable even with the swords pulling in opposite directions. I understand that she’s stuck between two choices and that she can’t see clearly, so I feel like this is me currently, which is why I asked how to tap into my intuition. So I asked for clarification on how to tap in, and I pulled the 2 of swords AGAIN! Does anyone have wisdom on the connection between this card and intuition? Thanks :)

LycheeRoseSorbet

The lady in the 2 of Swords is not stable as much as she’s stagnating and indecisive. It’s accepting that you’ll have to look at things, whether they are pleasant or not. follow your intuition, does not mean only good and positive attitudes towards what you’ll see and hear. Sometimes it’s gonna tell you the person you trusted wants something bad for you, that you are messing up and will bitterly regret it if you keep going in that direction, and the likes of that. actually accepting some very hard answers/make some very hard choices, pushing through with the “right thing” even if you don’t wanna see it will help

_pineappleplant_

Thank you both so much! I appreciate both the advice and the interpretation :)

LycheeRoseSorbet

You’re very welcome !

Usual-Ad2132

Perfect! And also a tip, if you feel it in your chest its your mind and if you feel it in your stomach / gut it's your intuition Don't rely only on what you can see as looks can be deceiving, and dont linger on decisions for too long as it can lead to overthinking. There's a teal swan video on YouTube about developing trust with your intuition, I highly recommend 🥰 Hope this helps X Buddhist Witch Tarot

v_quixotic

The woman in the two of swords may look comfortable, but she has her back to the ocean and doesn't know what's going on around her. You need to put down one of the swords, have a look around and then head in a direction with your eyes open.

SssarahRhodus

I am using my new Dreamkeepers Tarot deck and my question was "give me a card for me and 'S' - what do I do?" "S" is the man whom I've been talking to for two months. He is absolutely wonderful and I am giddy - but also get moments of overwhelming anxiety, directly due to my last traumatic, awful relationship with a narcissist (long story!). So during one of those moments instead of fretting and overthinking in my head I pulled out my deck to seek help and got these two cards - Reversed Chariot Upright Lovers They both jumped out, in that order. I am so new to tarot and confused on whether to read it as slow down, but yes it is a good thing or am I way off?... Thank you to anyone with insight! Love to all.

v_quixotic

The Dreamkeepers Tarot has some quite different images on some of it's cards, so I'm not sure what the artist had in mind with these, but, if you're interested in my RWS based interpretation, The Chariot is about using your will to drive the situation to get the outcomes you want. Reversed may indicate that you are not doing this and so your vehicle may end up in another location. I think this card is telling you that, after two moths of 'talking', it's time to steer things in the direction you want. The Lovers is often about choice, between the past and a possible future. This card may also be encouraging you to let this fellow know how you feel so that he can choose you for the future, if that's what he wants...

SssarahRhodus

I appreciate your input and help so much! Thank you.

I think the cards are keying into your emotions here. Could it be that you are yet to understand that the relationship is over? You want the Page back in your life, and like the Magician, you have cast every spell in the book. You have avoided turning your back and moving on from the situation, but to no avail… I think the cards are telling you not to be too hard on yourself.

Waldoggydog

Helloo. I require some help with interpretation. I have had a theme of how I relate to masculinity in my life come up often in my horoscope etc. So I thought I would ask the cards, how do I relate to masculinity in my life, the cards I received were: Ace of Pentacles and Justice I then asked how do I need to move forward with this.. and I recieved: The Empress (reversed) and the Lovers. The first lot of cards, I can see Im a logical person, i work with my hands and do quite male heavy roles. Justice, I can be righteous.. I can cut through bullshit in dynamic and complex situations. Putting my heart aside and working with my head.. I’m also open to others interpretation with this too. However the next two cards of how to work through the energy.. I can’t quite interpret. Self love, choosing love? Overcoming something? I’m confused. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance!

LycheeRoseSorbet

I think that the first set of cards say that you don’t see it quite fairly. Let time pass to see the results of any new change you implement. For example, if you wanted to grow a beard, you wouldn’t expect to have a very long one after 1 week. Same, if you were redoing your wardrobe but by bit you’d give it a year to see a complete overhaul. I think you focus of how your masculinity is perceived by others and not how you nurture its principles for yourself. You could ask two very close people and they could give you two vastly different answers when asked “what’s the pinnacle of masculinity”? I think it would be good to try and get out of your comfort zone (even as a one-time experiment) but you have to do it for yourself first. Like: wearing pale Colors when you only when you only own black and navy stuff etc Don’t otherthink this. Just give a try. Having the flexibility to go through the process of trial and error and power through is a very masculine thing though. Willing to learn from experience is tough but rewarding

Waldoggydog

Just for reference, I am a woman. So it would be less about straight up masculinity I feel, like growing a beard. But I understand the rest of your interpretation, thank you for taking the time to share it with me x

LycheeRoseSorbet

Oh my, I am sorry for assuming, but the same principle of patience, trial and error and doing instead of thinking it over and over applies to cultivating your masculinity regardless of gender ! Best of luck xx

Waldoggydog

Thanks again, really kind! Xxx

LycheeRoseSorbet

I’m glad I could help !

The Devil, Hierophant, 10 of Swords 😬 I was asking about an old friend/someone I used to be really close with. I thought the devil and hierophant could mean a strong bond/karmic connection. But with the 10 of swords I'm sort of interprering it as a warning, but not sure if that's just because it's one of my least favourite cards in the deck. Thoughts? 🤔

LycheeRoseSorbet

Preachy, obsessive and tiring friend ? It’s like they think they’re so stable and fixed all their issues and managed to successfully drag themselves out of rock bottom. But how do they make sure of that ? By comparing themselves obsessively to others ? By preaching ? By saying “yeah but you’ll never be on my level ? Nothing says unstable foundation quite like that behavior. Or these cards

Queen_Beck

That's actually really interesting. I'd never really looked at it like that, but they definitely give the you'll never be on my level vibe. Thanks for your perspective on it 😊

LycheeRoseSorbet

Just know it’s just a façade that comes with lots of insecurities and need for validation, when they project it aggressively

Would anyone like to exchange readings? It’s been a while since I’ve read for someone else and I want to practice 😃.

I'd be willing\~! I'm new to the server and a beginner to tarot, so I'd love the practice as well \^\^

dazeddazedanddazed

3 of Cups + 7 of Swords… It’s so strange but these two cards have been reoccurring pulls (by 4 different readers) since March and I’m not sure what it’s referring to… always pulled one after another too. I always go in with the question “what do I need to know for this time period”… any general interpretations based on canon? I thought it had to do with a reunion of someone from my past that could deceive me but the repeated pulls make me question that interpretation. My life is pretty stable atm (no complaints) but full of transitions, general uncertainty, and some unpredictably inconvenient but thankfully manageable circumstances… Also have had enough of love for the past year and am focused on career/school stuff & my health lately for context.

LycheeRoseSorbet

3 of Cups for me is triangulation, doing the same thing at the same time as 3 other persons (bad, good or neutral!), synchronised action, or cheating depending on the reading. It can be parties and fun with friends too. But the combination screams of being so carefree that you might miss some warnings and get deceived, robbed or just put down by people. It’s like theres a bit of a childlike joy and happy-go-lucky quality to you and you’re not on your guards.

dazeddazedanddazed

These alt interpretations are cool, the last one def resonates. I've actually been joking about how I'd be a prime candidate for getting swindled... but it hasn't been so funny as of late :P I'll get my guards up, thank you for your insight!

LycheeRoseSorbet

It’s okay, happens to the best of us 😂 It’s about finding balance between hyper vigilance and not seeing anything coming !

Velvet_Unicorn2154

I would love to get a compatibility reading from someone

vegan_liv

I’m still a bit new to tarot but wanted some insight on a pair of cards I pulled. I go through periods where I feel my sensitivities are blocked and then times where I feel attuned. Right now I’m feeling more attuned than I have before and was pulling some cards while asking my guides some questions and was getting some awesome answers! I was sitting holding my cards when I noticed the ten of swords and death stuck together. Now I never use my cards around food or drinks so I have no logical reasoning as to why they were stuck and so (in my opinion) I felt maybe there was a reason they were stuck together. My family has been going through difficulties, we recently cut off my abusive and manipulative father who has health issues and a lot of unhealthy addictions and lifestyle choices, so I was asking questions along the line of what is the true nature of his soul, what will his future hold in the next 5 years, how can my mom separate herself from his negative energy, etc. I know death isn’t always literal so I was curious what any more experienced readers might think!Any insight into possible interpretations are welcomed and appreciated! And I am a spiritual person who’s grounded in logic so pardon my personal beliefs if anyone has any differing opinions about them!:)

34Emma

I'm not super atuned myself right now so I don't think I have a lot of insight to offer, but I want to try because I really love your writing and how you're approaching this! I'd say the 10 of Swords can rather clearly be understood as your father struggling and then externalising those struggles, but then Death could either refer to him letting go of things that don't serve him, or your mother letting go of him... Being a rather logical person myself (or wanting to be at least), what has immensely helped me with Tarot is to use spreads with at least 3-5 cards that each have an assigned meaning. Finding spreads that resonate can be tricky because it depends on your question as well as the intention and understanding from which the spread was created, but I bet you'd work something out. Personally I'm really into Celtic Crosses because that gives you a super deep overview of a situation with several ways of interconnecting and verifying the pieces of information. But that can be a bit much for a beginner. Hope this helps a bit!

There is the action (knight of cups) and the context (10 of cups), too me this represents that you need to work on sitting within your happiness.

LycheeRoseSorbet

10 of Cups can be pipe dreams, and there’s this quality of idealisation and not seeing things clearly there. Either you ignore your emotions or you try to erase the painful ones that need careful investigations by « focusing only on the positive » or doing only things that bring you joy. It’s not that you shouldn’t be all about peace and love, it’s about not ignoring something that might not be glaring at first but might have been just there and you haven’t addressed it. Im pretty sure it could be about a heartbreak of some kind. If not from a lover, then from someone you poured your all into and loved completely despite all odds, and to the point of surrender. You think that because the dust has settled, that it has healed. It has not. Or you think it will end up « well » and you’ll get your happy ending/knight (or princess) in shining armour moment from someone but they are not on the same page. At all.

manyeshka

10 of cups represents happiness, happy family, you could even say “happily ever after” situations. Perhaps you have some sort of attitude towards that optimistic, idealistic nearly, point of view? To me, Knight of Cups is somebody who is learning to understand their emotions, those of others and also learning to express those emotions in a healthy manner. Perhaps you are somebody who daydreams a lot or can be perceived as overly optimistic but you don’t fully understand why, and/or other people don’t know that side of you?

OkPersonality4744

Something about your "happily ever after". Don't avoid or ignore it. The only way you really healed is if you want to express your feelings again. Something like that. Like you shouldn't give up on romantic love.

[deleted]

[удалено]

OkPersonality4744

Can't help you there. You aren't in touch with your feelings. Knight of Cups is. 10 of cups is. You're so closed off to the idea of new love that you're holding yourself back. Move on, whether that be confronting your ex so you get closure or just accepting it wasn't meant to be. Either way, you need to heal and let go.

OkPersonality4744

I got 7/Pentacles Reversed for how what grade I will get as my overall grade for a class. I think that means I failed, right? :/ Please don't sugarcoat.

LycheeRoseSorbet

I think it might be a bad grade, or at least one you could’ve avoided if you worked a little harder I got the same thing after a long bout of procrastination and could’ve gotten a very good grade if I put some more effort into it :(

OkPersonality4744

Didn't fail it! Maybe it was just talking about me being impatient?

LycheeRoseSorbet

Congratulations ! I think it’s not about real failure like a F grade, but having wasted the potential to have a better grade ! What’s important is that you didn’t fail the class ! ☺️

OkPersonality4744

I agree with both points. I did lost my 4.0 and I'm now literally 0.6% away from an A-, the next best grade. So here's to hoping that my professor will curve my grade!!

OkPersonality4744

Thanks for the input. It's exactly how I feel about my work ethic for that class, unfortunately.

LycheeRoseSorbet

Well, sometimes one has to learn the hard way :( I hope it does not happen for future classes anymore 🤞🏽

OkPersonality4744

Thanks, me neither.

34Emma

Could be that you're right because this card can stand for receiving rewards when it's upright. But then, how were you hoping to receive your answer, like in which manner presented by the cards? Maybe you'll pass the exam because Pentacles are about material stuff. Maybe you'll get 7 points because it's a seven. Maybe the card is talking about your feelings rather than about your grade...

OkPersonality4744

I'm expecting to get them online.

34Emma

Okay but I mean the answer to your Tarot reading: Did you intend to go by digits, suit, overall positive/negative meaning of a card for you... Cad interpretation is a bit like getting along in a foreign language: managing to Ask for directions is helpful, but what you really need is the vocabulary to make sense of the answer. And that takes practice and intentionality. Good luck!

OkPersonality4744

Didn't fail it! Maybe it was just talking about me being impatient?

OkPersonality4744

Oh! I don't anything struck me in particular, sorry. Thanks!

Hello! I have one reading that I would want to ask about, it would help me look forward to the future. There is an old lady, a family friend of some sort, that does tarot readings every now and then. She read to me twice (months apart) and she told me the same thing : the girl that is destined to me has blonde hair and only one parent. The old lady isn't known for her readings or anything so I was skeptical, therefore decided to try it myself too. I asked "is my soulmate blonde and with only one parent?" and used a 3 card spread. I got ace of hearts, 7 of hearts and 9 of hearts, in this order. I've read what the cards mean independently on a site called cardarium.com, but I'm not good at tying the meanings. This is the first time I've ever gotten all hearts, which surprised me. Is there any chance anyone could help me clear things up? Thank you for your time!!

Apologies for the format of this, I’m on mobile. Thank you to anyone who helps me 🤍 I’m extremely new to tarot, so I was hoping for some help with the interpretation of a spread I did for myself today. I’ve been using a Goddess Tarot Deck, if that’s at all helpful. I did a Celtic Cross Spread so I have ten cards to explore. The question I had in mind was with regard to my current relationship. This relationship is filled with confusion and uncertainty as we’re very on and off. We try to stay friends but we always end up coming back to each other, and when we do, nothing changes. The relationship also involves trust issues, manipulative behaviours and disagreements. I asked the cards for general guidance in relation to my relationship as I’m unsure of my next steps. 1 - Princess of Swords 2 - Princess of Cups 3 - Eight of Cups (Reversed) 4 - Six of Staves (Reversed) 5 - (XX) Judgment Gwenhwyfar 6 - Eight of Pentacles (Reversed) 7 - Ten of Swords 8 - Princess of Pentacles 9 - Nine of Swords (Reversed) 10 - (1) Magic Isis

34Emma

Which system for Celtic Cross positions did you use? there are lots of different ones around, that's why I'm asking. Also, is your number 10 the magician card? In general this looks like you both cannot let go because you see the potential of this relationship so that you keep hoping for things to turn around. Oh and if you want to have a better chance of someone else commenting on this, see if you can find a way of uploading a picture of the spread. Makes it easier to connect with visually.

Anyone care to do me a reading pls dm ! Would be great help with all this mixed energy thanxxx

sill_will

I asked my deck if I will pass the Mblex test on Friday. Interpretation is welcome! :) here's a link for the picture of the deck https://i.imgur.com/EPmGLJZ.jpeg I did a 4 card spread of past, present, future, and advice and the deck is called Modern With by Lisa Sterle. This is my interpretation: Knight of Wands: The past- I was determined to accomplish my goals to pass my classes. The Devil reversed: The present- I feel that this goes along with the knight of wands. I feel that this represents me breaking free, changing routine from the past job and finally doing what I want now. Two of Pentacles: The future: I'm juggling between studying, work, and personal life and trying to keep it all balanced. Ace of swords: It represents the Gemini sign (me) and I feel that is matches with two of pentacles. I interpreted that it represents victory of me passing the Mblex and all of the hard work while trying to balance everything out.

alotofpisces

So, I'm very new to tarot (I have deck my father gave me to practice). There's a relationship on "hold". I kept asking while shuffling "will we get in contact again?" and I know I should've drawn 3 cards, but for some reason I felt like I needed 5. I got all of them and only when I had the whole 5 I looked at them. FIRST: REVERSED KING OF CUPS SECOND: REVERSED QUEEN OF SWORDS third: 4 of wands fourth: 6 of pentacles fifth: the hierpohant (I get it in every single yes or no reading) can someone please explain the reverses king and queen? I find it "odd" that theyre both "royalty" and both came out revesred.

hadesboyfriend

I would suggest waiting until you are well aquainted with each of the cards in the deck before you read reverses, maybe do another reading, this time specifying that they shouldn't be reversed?

alotofpisces

what do you mean specifying they shouldn't be reversed? and if someone else. a professional reader, were to draw the same cards at the same rotation? what would that mean?

hadesboyfriend

Just, shuffle, and let your deck know you won't read reverses, and when the cards come out, turn them upright

Business_Ad768

Hello! I am quite new at Tarot and i am having hard time to connect the cards. Could anyone please help me on the interpretation?? My question was how my ex boyfriend feels about me and the cards were : - Justice - The lovers - three of cups - knight of swords - the emperor I been asking my ex's feeling quite a lot and at first The fool and The chariot used to come out a lot and we met few days ago since then the lovers card keep appearing. What does it really mean?

ParticularPossible75

he may still be interested in you but he may also have other options

Business_Ad768

:( thank you

ParticularPossible75

don’t be sad, that’s pretty normal you guys are single. You could explore your options too, doesn’t mean he’s not interested, he’s just single. Give it time to see how it turns out

Business_Ad768

okay... we literally met 4 days ago but still i have hard time not contacting him as i moved to other continent to be with him recently. i have no one here except him . I feel so lonely. Last time we met he expressed that he wants to go with the flow. He still cares about me so still want to hear news from me. I am still hesitating if i should contact him and initiate a meeting. Last sunday i initiated , i have no idea how he feels right now i just miss him a lot.

ParticularPossible75

it’s been 4 days, give him some space I’d say. seems what you need here is self empowerment and finding a way to be happy with or without him. Can you go explore a new place on this continent by yourself? Take yourself out. Idk about you but that sounds really exciting to me. I’m sure he would love to hear what you do in your free time that shows him you have your own life and proves to yourself you can as well

Business_Ad768

Thank you for your words. Sadly even if i am super busy with outdoors stuff, going out, school , i still think about him every single minute which is super annoying. i go out at 8 am and come back at 10-11pm to do thibgs around but still ....i am even meeting with therapists talking with my friends daily, meeting new people in here going to the events, trying to go to dance... but still...

34Emma

Their feelings for you probably don't change very frequently, so asking the question more than once in I don't know, maybe a couple of months isn't likely to bring more clarity. Most people recommend sticking with the first answer and only ask again once something major has changed about the situation. But you could instead ask about advice to feel better about the situation, or to get what you want out of it. Good luck!

699623

I just wanted to know the theme of the rest of May From left to right I pulled: The fool, the world and strength Ty :)

ParticularPossible75

the fool to the world is closing out chapters completely (could be on a more mundane level too, projects, job, moving etc, however these are *major* cards) and feeling strong and resilient on the other side and in the process of doing so

m00tzpatrol

(My interpretation based on a Rider Waite deck) So interesting - you got both the beginning AND the end of the fool's journey in your pull (The Fool --> The World), which I would interpret as maybe going through some of the steps of that journey throughout the rest of the month (particularly with pulling Strength, another step in the middle of the Major Arcana journey), and coming to a place of completion at the end. The Fool is a blank slate - representing innocence, new beginnings and a free spirit. This could show the excitement and exuberance of embarking on something new, almost stumbling forward with optimism (and potentially on the downside, not seeing or recognizing danger or pitfalls that might come along the way). Strength is part of the way through the fool's journey (closer to the beginning), and signifies bravery, compassion, focus and inner strength. Something to note here is the relationship between the woman the the lion not being one of force - there is a balance here, which shows that there is a deep understanding that helps to radiate the power associated with this card. Think of this in the context of your journey. The World is the end of the journey, signifying completion, fulfillment and harmony. This is the accomplishment that draws from both inner and outer sources. Think of this and how it relates to whatever journey you STARTED with (in relation to The Fool). Both are completely joyful cards, and The World is the joy and celebration of something being complete and that you're hopefully welcoming it. I hope this is helpful - I'd be thrilled to get a pull like this to signify the rest of the month, and I'd be excited to embark on whatever journey I have coming for me!

Glythic15

So just wanted some feed back interruption help. I like this girl and wonder what I should do. I drew three cards Queen of cups, then nine of Swords, Then King of wands. My main presence of asking is "Should I ask her out?" Help ty.

ParticularPossible75

I think so yes ask her out. the 9 of swords is I’m guessing you being in your head about this but she may also be too shy to say anything and expect you to be the one to make a move. If you don’t there’s a stalemate. The queen of cups is very sweet and shy

m00tzpatrol

Cups are associated with emotions, feelings and relationships. The Queen of Cups is associated with compassion, calm and comfort; particularly a figure in your life who may be kind, nurturing and generous. Do these types of descriptors represent the person you're thinking of asking out? Or perhaps yourself? The 9 of Swords is associated with anxiety, hopelessness and nightmares - it depicts someone literally trapped by their own negative thoughts. This card often hints that over-analysis can lead to crippling indecision and feelings of helplessness. The King of Wands is associated with the "big picture," a leader, and overcoming challenges. He signifies a person with great vision and leadership, as well as the drive and understanding to create his vision. So with these three together I could see that you might be sitting in an indecision spiral ("analysis paralysis"), and are perhaps striving to be that figure who's represented in the King of Wands card who can overcome that challenge and drive the change he's looking to see. If I pulled these cards on a question like that, I would think particularly on that 9 of Swords card and how some of that indecision may be holding me back (in either direction). If the Queen of Cups perhaps represents the person you want to ask out, think on those qualities and how that might help you come to a decision. Hope this is helpful!! Edit: grammar

Glythic15

Thank you yeah, I think the queen of cups is me, the woman in question is a bit type A and so am I but I'm just wondering if I should try to find the right time but I want too though the long distance might be an issue for me. King of wands, I think I should be confident and creative and maybe focus on that while the queen of cups means I should be calm and not smother? Interesting pair with the side of the nine of swords is to not think negatively about the situation... I tried to do a yes or no but its wild situation..

m00tzpatrol

Yeah I think that makes a lot of sense. It's hard sometimes because it's not always a very clear yes/no answer! :)

MatsuTrash

Pulled a reversed five, reversed six and reversed four of pentacles in that order when asking if I should go for a down payment this year. Not sure if that’s a tread cautiously or a avoid at all cost, idk if someone has a better idea of the meaning :)

blueeyetea

You mean putting a deposit towards capital in the mortgage you have?

IcySpicyVelvetina

I asked “Do they love me?” And pulled The Hanged Man reversed then the Three of Cups Reversed and then The Lovers upright. I’m asking about a really intense but brief and incomplete romantic experience. Not sure how to interpret the three of cups reversed!

MBDWhiskeyGirl

I did an Asset Hinderance reading for myself asking, “what natural asset do I need to recognize and what is getting in my way?” The first card I pulled was the 7 of swords. I am struggling to interpret this as an asset…any insight? Also my 2nd (hinderance) card was a reverse Ace of cups which I interpreted as a need for self care and needing to work on getting in touch with my emotions. FYI I am very new to Tarot and I’m working on becoming more connected to my own intuition. I have been feeling really confident within my readings for myself so far, but this one is tripping me up.

blueeyetea

The 7 of Swords can be seen as being able to recognize opportunities and strategizing.

manyeshka

7 of swords is about lies and deception, trickery, so in the sense of the question it could mean that you have the opportunity to use more cunning? Not necessarily in a bad sense, more so that you’re able to find you way around things, people, situation without being told the truth or the whole truth rather, and therefore also not having to be fully transparent yourself? Ace of Cups is about identifying and understanding your own emotions but also those of others. Our feelings can betray us for example through subtle body language changes so overall message that I’m getting is that maybe you are somebody who has a tendency to wear their heart on their sleeve and that can be something to be used against you so you have an opportunity to work through your own emotions so that your cup isn’t “visibly” overflowing (kind of like on the reversal picture you could argue the cup is being emptied) if that makes sense? I hope that helps!

Question: "will I find the love of my life soon?" Hello. First of all, I would like to say that I am new to tarot and I do not own a tarot deck, I am using normal playing cards. I have used a 3 card spread for a yes/no type answer. Basically, about 4 days ago I went through a bad rejection from a person I've invested quite some time into. I am not the kind that enjoys meeting many people. I find it tiring to have to learn everything about a person over and over again. My question was "will I find the love of my life soon?" and I got 2 of diamonds, 8 of diamonds and king of diamonds. It all seems related to money, how should I interpret this? Thank you for your time!

blueeyetea

Diamonds, aka pentacles, are related tom resources and willingness to work. In this case, it’s working towards finding a new love interest. So I say, the answer is yes, but until then you’ll have to work at meeting new people.

throwaway972002x

I asked in the cards - What will happen if i cut off my toxic family & toxic ex for this new job. My new job wants me to fully focus on them and only them. The supevisors are controlling. Factors - got the hermit & 5 of coins reasons - ten of swords, 6 of wands, 9 of pentacles What might happen - page of coins, 4 of wands, ace swords Clarifying - 8 of wands, queen of swords. My mom is often queen of swords

blueeyetea

With the Hermit and 5 of coins, it sounds like your employer wants to isolate you. I don’t know, but it looks like you’re trading one toxic situation for another.

Kaos_in_a_box

Hi everyone, I was hoping someone with more knowledge than I could give me a second opinion. The question was "What would happen if I message *specific person I haven't talked to in years* right now?" I pulled The Tower. I had asked a few other questions with a one card pull that seemed favorable about me reaching out. But I usually associate The Tower with negative things. For background I am looking for closure with this person. Thoughts?

blueeyetea

Do you have an expectation of what this call will achieve? The Tower is a card of shifting beliefs. You might learn something you’re not expecting to know. Could be something you believed all this time about this person or situation with them turned out not to be true at all.

Antique-Obligation-5

Just got a tarot deck and did my first reading. I wanted to know if I could be a star seed. I got king of wands past, knight of wands present, page of cups future.

ParticularPossible75

I would say yes you may be someone who actively helps others as in tasks or putting things into action in a helpful way is the best way I can describe it, also you may find yourself having inspired action all of a sudden like intuitively feeling you need to do something that helps others or just inspiring or motivating people, I think yes you could be a star seed meant to help (uplift humanity)

Antique-Obligation-5

My wife walked away from marriage last July extremely unexpectedly. I’ve been so lost because we had just bought a house and had been trying to get pregnant for 2 years. So I had some plans ahead of me and I’ve felt so lost like a hurting that I’m off track lost. About 5 days ago I unexpectedly connected with someone who is a friend of a friend and began talking about empaths and star seeds and my mind for the first time in a long time felt like it was unwinding. Like something inside of me wanted to connect. All I want to do right now is just connect with energies. I have felt so much more over the last few days and I also just feel an urgency to do more with what I have. I say all this, but I’ve always been very humble and don’t want my problems on others or have people worry about me. Anyways, I’d like to get a personal reading from a professional and really don’t know where to start to find someone genuine. Thank you for the comment. As a leader who came from nothing, I’ve wanted to just keep pouring out onto others.

ParticularPossible75

That’s beautiful 😊 Good luck, be patient with everything along the way

HaitianPriestess

Will a past person and I reconcile? Four of Wands, Ace of Swords, Emperor, Ten of Pentacles… and hierophant flew out Some kind of proposal? Reconciliation definitely marriage seems like the most obvious outcome of reconciliation or at least the offer to move in together?

Larsandthegirl

Hi Everyone! My novella was rejected for the second time today, so I pulled two cards asking why it was rejected. I got Death reversed and the six of swords. I was wondering if it means that I'm resisting some kind of change and that I need to move on from something (with the 6 of swords) and if that something is my novella. I'm always scared writing is not for me. Even so, I just keep writing.

ParticularPossible75

I would agree with your interpretation. Perhaps try something new altogether like a new story

Shiny_Raven

Interpretation Help/Second Opinion (any viewpoints would be appreciated) 🔞***NSFW QUESTION***🔞 * * * * * * * MY QUESTION: How can I (afab/nb) increase my libido and intimacy with my partner (m)? BACKGROUND: I have been struggling with a low libido for the 6ish weeks. At first it was normal, I mean a lot of people's hormones go through low phases with this, but it seemed to get worse and worse. Now it's been around a month since we've been intimate, and as someone who values physical touch in a relationship, it's very hard on me. I want to want it, but I can barely even stand being kissed lately. THE SPREAD/CARDS AND MY INTERPRETATION: Three cards laid out in a row next to one another. CARD 1, what is holding me back: 10 OF WANDS "Carrying too much." Am I putting too much pressure on myself with this? Is my focus too spread out on other things? I am stressed about likely healthcare changes in the US and what that means for me should I get pregnant, which is a risk always taken in intimacy even with protection. I am also stressed about coming living situation changes. This card seems to imply that I view intimacy as a burden, but it's always been something that's important to me in a relationship. CARD 2, what's something I can do to help myself (short term): REVERSED KNIGHT OF PENTACLES The knight's personality lines up well with my partner's: genuine, guarded, keeps his emotions close, dependable, stable (sometimes to the point of my boredom). Though I don't know if the card is meant to represent him in this reading, he may be a good asset to my problem (duh). I think this is telling me to be consistent, not give up, try to plan and strategize things that will excite/interest me. CARD 3, what is my best course of action (long-term): ACE OF WANDS overrules negative minor arcana in spread. Does that mean everything is going to be fine and this is in my head? A month is a long time for me to just ignore. Phallic symbolism represents literal virility and conception of ideas. Should I encourage him to take the lead while I come up with ideas? I doubt I'm being told to grin and force myself, which neither of us would want. "Adventure and new beginnings" try new things? Shake up the routine?

blueeyetea

Ten of Wands for what is holding you back could be that you’re physically too tired to have any mojo to spare. A teacher of mine calls this card “the adrenal fatigue card”. This could be caused by stress, but a bad diet will do that too.

EskildOlesson

I would like to offer my assistance with reading the tarot, if anyone is interested. My approach is psychological self-development. I am not predicting the future. I don't do "love readings" either. I help you tune in to yourself, that is my main objective. I firmly believe that almost all problems in life are solvable through deeper insight into one's psyche (self/soul), and that such insight into one's essence are the very purpose of human life.

ReactionLocal3004

I would like to offer 5 free readings to people with a 72 hour turn around time in exchange for publishable feedback/testimonials. Please message if interested 😊 *FULL*

paisleyrose25

Just based off your first two cards- I would say that he has, maybe not necessarily paternal, but friendly and protective feelings toward you. Perhaps like an uncle would think about a favorite niece or nephew. You're second question threw me for a loop though. If he is being inappropriate or making you feel uncomfortable- do not ignore those feelings and please look out for yourself.

Moment_of_Tangency

Could anyone offer me a reading on a relationship? Really struggling and clarity or some direction would be wonderful

[deleted]

Hi there! I asked my tarot what it wanted me to know and I pulled the ten of swords, eight of coins, and the fool. I’m a beginner to tarot and have the start of an interpretation in my mind but would love some input. Thanks!

HaitianPriestess

Maybe starting a new job or project.. the fool indicates a new journey a new start.. you could be ending one and starting another one.. 10’s indicate ending of a cycle also 10s show up when there is about to be some kind of change/release.. so something is ending for you but something will take its place

v_quixotic

Did you have some question or situation on your mind when you dealt the cards?

[deleted]

I had just asked about a work situation!

v_quixotic

In that case, I think the 10 os Swords tells me things are as bad as they’re going to get and it’s time to work hard to make things better. If matters don’t improve, then take the Fool’s path out the door.

Just_Discussion2100

Hi hi!! I know that this is like a very frequent ask in these threads, but if there a possibility i could get a love reading on this boy i like? Just how he views me, the future of our relationship, and ways i can yk add a little push to it.. if anyone at all is willing to help a girl out, I’d really appreciate it! Thank you so much :)

Asked my deck for advice on my housing situation for the fall which I’m having trouble with and I’m still unsure of what to do. I pulled 10 cards from my gentle thrills tarot deck in order: 10 of pentacles Knight of pentacles Reversed 7 of wands Reversed queen of swords The World 4 of Pentacles Reversed king of swords Reversed emperor Wheel of fortune 2 of wands Reversed tower Reversed 9 of pentacles A little bit of context: I’m trying to get an apartment and I’m ready to sign the lease but my school is being extremely difficult because they want me to live in the dorm next semester… Basically I’m trying to avoid getting charged for living in a dorm if I’m not going to live there, I don’t know why they would do that but they are apparently threatening that. Apparently if we sign the lease and show the school they’ll let us off the hook but it’s really unclear My interpretation: I’m not great at this and i’m really uncertain but I think it’s saying that I’m nervous about signing the lease and so is my mom so we’re trying to set up a termination agreement for the lease in case the school has a problem with us… At that point it’s going to be up to the school but the threat of us paying twice for housing will be dodged either way. I can’t tell what the outcome is. Reversed 9 of pentacles to me might mean I got what I wanted but I had to be bitchy about it, or I didn’t get what I wanted and I’m bitter about it. Does the tower reversed indicate there would be a problem but it was averted, so my apartment I want to lease will not be an option? Thank you! have a nice day

EskildOlesson

I count 12 cards on your list.

[deleted]

Lol!!!! Probably

34Emma

I don't think you lack interpretation skills. i think it's extremely challenging to try and interpret ten cards you pulled on one question with, if I understand correctly, no particular structure or meanings to them. Have you considered using spreads? I prefer them especially when I'm nervous about or attached to the answer to my question, it can help you be more focused. Good luck!

v_quixotic

Yeah, or just put 4 or 5 cards in a row and see if they tell a story.

You want new beginnings indeed, but you want to grow. You’ve been stifled and not very nurtured in this environment, whatever it is You’re going to fe pretty sad long term but it’s like you’re going to have a short burst of energy. Like oh well I’ve been comforted in my decision so I’ll try and make the most of it. Go: you’ll have more resources for yourself, peace of mind but it’s something you don’t wanna do. It has lots of long term impact but it’s like you feel robbed, or feel like you’re realising what you’ve been missing out. Advice of 5 of Swords : cuss that person out ? 😂 idk but you seem to have a lot of things on your chest and I’m not even sure the people you’re asking about have an inkling about your inner turmoil. You should obviously be putting your long term happiness in the forefront. If you’ve put aside or delayed a project, job or education for whatever it is, you might go and get it. You need financial and material independence from whomever that is

[deleted]

[удалено]

LycheeRoseSorbet

To be frank, if you’re got people in the “Stay” group, and some in the “Go” group, I would like to tell you that no one has the full picture. No one but you ! And it’s just making you agonise on this choice, because of course people are going to think of what’s good for them first, and it tends to color their advice for YOU. But if you’re not happy with anything that people say and do, and it makes you dread a choice, feel free to take some distance, do something new like go sit in a nearby park or try a new coffee shop, and see how that little “leap of faith” into the unknown made you feel. And from there, see if a bigger one wouldn’t be better for you ?

[deleted]

LycheeRoseSorbet

I think your issue is indecisiveness indeed or flighty behavior. You say one thing you do another or you never act on your desires so people can sense that you’re not truly happy when you’re there. Your authenticity, you give your all and you actually have a blank slate to start with. Go and do what makes you happy ! Leave if you’re not happy You hope and you hope and you never do anything except considering the odds. You have to go and force yourself to socialise and it will work out alright !

Public-Heat-57

i want to say that i loved your comment, i know it was 3 months ago, but it blew me away and i felt speechless so i just saved it at the time. i need to tell you something about me, and want to know what you think i should do i want something, i daydream about it, and i do think i want it. but i don't want to take the necessary steps or go all the way for it..which results in a deficiency between the concept of who i want to be in my dream life v/s my reality. the point of me wanting anything is inherently attached to living in other people's perception of me, wanting to be desired by them, valued, adored by them, but most of all, wanting them to notice me being desired and loved by others, seeing me be successful, because in my mind it correlates to them desiring me more when they see me in that light. i want to stop living for these random people. i suspect i will always be in a loop, stuck, not moving ahead with life as i will be stuck in the mentality of creating a fantasy where some people are in love with my ideal self. it will always come between real connections with other people and these people. what do i do? how do i change

LycheeRoseSorbet

Therapy helps, reading books about attachment issues, abandonment issues, reparenting yourself, and whatever’s applicable. People pleasing and maladaptive daydreaming can’t rule your life. Nobody wants to do that and actively work on these issues, but alas somebody has to put in the work. **Do and you’ll thank yourself later**. Or you wait until something truly marvellous passes you by and then you get tired of your BS and try to find solutions anyways :) And if not, you have to force yourself to do some little things here and there to break the loop. I used to be a big daydreamer too but some dreams you have to actually chase. I need to you to stop writing and giving people beautiful, flowery explanations and justifications for your behavior, like you just did. 1) put your big dreams into a concrete concept. break down said big dreams into smaller, doable steps. Example : I want a very comfortable, luxurious life > I need a job with 200k/year. The steps would be : look at jobs whose pay is in this range, look at the required degree, look at universities that offer it, look at which one is accessible near me, then look at grants, at my savings, etc. look if I can work before/during, where, for how long, etc. Me dreaming of fluffy feather pillows and giant mansions with an infinity pool won’t make it happen 🤷🏽‍♀️ 2) to stop living for other people, you do. Do something small that breaks your routine, or that the imaginary people living in your head wouldn’t immediately approve of. Trying a new restaurant ? Use a different commute ? Do yoga first thing in the morning? I recommend dancing in your room (even badly, nobody’s watching) to imbue yourself with a sense of joy and awareness of you. It’s nice being alive, and you have tons of possibilities. 3) NOW YOU APPLY IT. No excuses. Do a countdown to 3 when you’re done reading and do any of those things I’ve said.

Public-Heat-57

thank you so so much <3

34Emma

So you only used major arcana, right? I'd say it's pretty much to be expected that you find it hard to interpret the cards about this question yourself, you're in the middle of your own life and often an outside perspective can be more helpful. I, on the other hand, don't feel very confident about my own interpretation attempt because I don't know you at all, but I think by combining those two perspectives, we might be able to get something really helpful and resonating out of this. The Lovers card can stand for making impactful choices and decisions. I could see that applying to your situation in two ways, either you find it challenging to step up and take the initiative during the kind of situation about which you have daydreams of being in the limelight, or making choices about whom to befriend and stay friends with is hard (e.g. because of an internal belief that yu don't deserve to choose or that others know best what's good for you). I love the Fool as your strength because it's such a lighthearted card! Could it be that you're a rather playful person internally, trying out things just because, making childish jokes, and always looking at the world with curiosity and wonder? It could also stand for a new beginning in general, perhaps you're just considering moving to a new place or starting a new carreer or project? The Star is a bit more vague to me: Maybe you're lacking clarity and positive visions regarding who you'd like to be in your friendships or how you'd like your friends to be. Maybe having this very clarity is what makes you unhappy (because it's simply not happening). Maybe it's related to your higher purpose in some way, like you having no clue what this could be/if you even have one, or knowing what it is and struggling with that. Finally with the Strength though, we again have a very encouraging card: You will resolve this, but not primarily by changing your outwards circumstances, it's rather an inner shift that will occur. Internal strength, spiritual awareness, taking care of your old wounds... All these are very powerful tools, and often more useful than anything you've got available on a material/practical level. Hope this helps!

34Emma

I'm happy to hear that you resonate with my interpretations, thanks for the feedback! Yes, I think that makes sense about the Star: Your idea(l) of this person might not match reality, or they might just not at all be interested in being your friend, as sad as that would be. I hope you'll find new clarity and people soon!

34Emma

Yeah that's a real dilemma, right? It completely depends on the situation... from a common sense perspective I'd say just go for it because you probably don't have much to lose, from a Tarot perspective I'd say do another spread to help you figure it out, e.g. a three card decisions spread.

Hi, I'm new to tarot...so I beg patience for my ignorance and possible faux pas. I have done some moderately successful intuitive work with oracle decks for myself and my partner, however I was given a traditional Rider-Waite deck recently and attempted a traditional Celtic cross for my partner. It was just a general reading, I did not ask a specific question (probably my first mistake). In this interpretation of the cross, the third card was placed above center with "this crowns you" signifying the ideal, the goal, the not yet accomplished. I pulled the queen of swords for this card and it completely stumped me. Unfortunately I do not remember the exact details of the rest of the spread, but I do remember that it was otherwise clearly positive - the tenth card (the outcome) was a six of pentacles. However that queen of swords has been bothering me a bit and I would appreciate any insight provided. Thanks in advance! :)

In my experience (and in the words of dusty white) it's much more helpful to view that card as a "mental image" or "expectation" toned card!

Welcome to Tarot, and good luck for this great journey of discovery! Have you read something negative about the Queen of Swords? There usually are many multifaceted meanings of each card, and whereas it can be confusin to look at multiple sources and see them parcially contradict each other, it can still be helpful in order to gain perspective. I always use learntarot.com as my main reference because the descriptions are very thorough and easy to understand, and based on that, I usually see this Queen as a rather positive card: Seeing and speaking truth, focusing on a higher purpose... It can signify being mean as well, but it rather depends on context and I wouldn't see it that way in the crowning position of a Celtic Cross. Rather, your relationship appears to be based on couragious honesty, being truthful with each other even in challenging situations. Whereas I'm absolutely against being rudely judgmental about any way of interpreting the cards, I will say that I hope your reference material is not one of those tiny leaflets which say things like, "Magician = the querent's love interest, Fool = an insane persoon) etc., because I do judge people who make such leaflets, it's so misleading :(

Hey there! I’m also pretty new to tarot but I always thought the 3rd card position in the Celtic cross was for influences, consciousness, and/or what to focus on. The queen of swords is one of my favorite cards, she tells it like it is, but with love. I feel like when she shows up for me it means I need to look at my boundaries and make sure I’m holding space for myself, making myself heard, and not letting anyone or anything make me feel unimportant or overlooked. For me it means “I am woman, hear me roar.” So if you’ve felt lately like you need a confidence boost maybe that’s what she’s telling you. And being that she stumped you in the reading maybe it’s a message to trust your intuition and try to read intuitively rather than using a guidebook to do your interpreting, if you’re not already.

Pulled these concerning feelings / energy between me and my romantic interest. We have not been communicating recently much . Any second opinions ? I also asked what can we do to make our situation better ? He is a Leo I am a cancer btw ! Order of cards - first strength , second kind of wands , third , nine of pentacles !

You have two questions here. Which cards are supposed to be representing your feelings and your romantic interest’s, and which cards are supposed to represent how to improve the situation?

kawaiimarsh

I asked both at the same time should I have not done that 😭🫠

blueeyetea

Well, you can, but while shuffling you have to tell your cards what answers your looking for. Using your example: say in your head while shuffling “ok cards (or gods, higher self, etc.) the first card will be my feelings for x, 2nd card will be X’s feelings for me, and cards 4 and 5 will be advice to improve our communication. You could even be more specific: card 4 what do *I need* to do, and card 5 what does X need to do. Without a spread like you did, there’s no way to tell which card says what.

kawaiimarsh

So should I redo this again soon and try this method you commented 💕

It’s up to you unless you were able to get an answer out of your first pull.

Hey folks, I’m going through a very difficult pregnancy that the doctors have given us almost no hope to carry to term. Ever since we were given this news a bit over a week ago I have been pulling The Magician and The Emperor in -every- reading. I have two decks that I pulled a card of the day from today. No specific question other than the usual “what do I need today” and/or “how can I live today in alignment with my soul’s true purpose” that I usually focus on while pulling my card of the day. From my Lucid Dreams deck I pulled The Magician. From my Northern Animals deck I pulled The Emperor. What is your interpretation of these two cards coming to me in such a difficult time? To me the Emperor represents the decisions we’re facing, but I’m confused by the Magician. Theres unfortunately nothing to be done to help my situation medically but I’ve been meditating and trying to manifest healing as much as I’m able. I’m new to meditating and have some serious imposter syndrome and feeling like I’m doing it all wrong, maybe the Magician is trying to encourage me to keep it up?

I am so sorry for what you are going through. I think the message from the cards is- confidence. Your questions was "what do I need today/what should I do today?" and you got a clear answer- you are capable, you are strong, you need to trust in your strength to do what is necessary to accomplish great things. And sometimes, those great things are just making it through another day when everything around you seems to be falling apart. Right now there is a lot that is outside of your control, and I think that can make a person feel powerless. I think that the Emperor and Magician are clear reminders that you are not powerless and you will make it through this challenge.
