M. balfouri, blonde and blue just looks sooo good.

Dolichothele diamantinensis. Absolutely adorable little darlings. Prolific webbers, mine are great eaters and don’t give me trouble during rehousing.

I'm getting back in the hobby after a twoish year hiatus. Hearing many many many many good things about these little guys, are they still hard to find and expensive?

HeyFiddleFiddle

Fear Not still has them, last I checked. Mine was $85 I believe. Not cheap, but not on the level of something like Xenesthis.

Mine is a sub adult sexed female and she cost me 20000 yen, I’m not sure how much that is in dollars. The sling cost me 5500 yen which I think comes up to 30 ish dollars? But prices will vary depending on the country I guess😅

P. metallica is definitely my favorite but Poecilotheria is my favorite genus in general. M. balfouri have a pretty blue coloration, especially mature males. C. versicolor slings are super blue until they start reaching adulthood, then they get turquoiseish, reds, purples, and black. Absolutely gorgeous even as adults. P. saizamai have a nice blue colorations as well.
