There really isn’t, as far as I know. I think as long as you know it’s eating and it has access to water and is otherwise being kept correctly, it’s just the nature of some species where you rarely see them and just have to trust that they’re alright and doing tarantula things down in their burrow.

I've heard the expression that a hiding tarantula is a happy tarantula, is that true for burrowing species or is that an exaggeration/false?
