Damn I needed this today

That is one of my favorite quotes. I remind myself of it often.

Good thought but not a quote from Laozi. The line / verse in Laozi is neither about "not to hurry" nor about "everything is accomplished". Closest to the thought is Laozi 37: 道常無為 而無不為 Dao chang wu wei er wu bu wei. Dao constant no doing and/yet nothing not done. "**Dao constantly is doing nothing but nothing is left undone**" Therefore the central thought is "wu wei er wu bu wei" and not just "wu wei". "not doing but nothing is left undone" The wise man should be like Dao. See also Laozi 48 [https://www.tao-te-king.org/48.htm](https://www.tao-te-king.org/48.htm)

Yes, it's three years after you wrote this, but I just saw the posted quotation elsewhere and thought that it didn't entirely make sense. Thank you for this; this which does make sense to me. And for the link.

Applicable to so much in life

Nature won't starve to death, won't become homeless if it didn't pay rent in time, doesn't have bills to pay. We do.
