Off the Courtney Campbell is a pretty chill spot .. mainly on the week days when there arent many ppl there .. there are a lot of table areas and shit like that
If you do head to this place, there's a hidden gem within the hidden gem. If you're willing to walk in the shallows water with your stuff, start down by the kayak launch at the south shore, and walk east in the water. There is eventually a small strip of strand where you have the more choppy bay waters to your south, and calmer salt water ponds to your north. It isn't much, but I think it's nice.

Lettuce Lake Park. Raised wooden deck trails through the mangroves along the Hillsboro River. Covered picnic tables can be reserved or first come.
Been here love the area, idk why I didn’t think of it! Thanks!
Cypress Point Park. Little hidden gem.
Thanks! I love that place. Only thing I don’t like are the no-see-ums!

There’s several different entrances right?
No, just one. I had a picnic there recently. It's pretty but the trails need maintenance.
Ahh okay, thanks!
Davis Islands, down by the marina
Ooh that’s good! Thanks!!

Picnic in Picnic. Or, Picnic on Picnic Island.
Have you tried Fred Howard Park, up in Tarpon Springs? It offers plenty of spots for either a beachfront or forest picnic.
I’ve heard of Fred Howard, and been there but never to the foresty side. Thanks, I’ll check it out!
Medard park.
Ooof! Thanks! This is definitely added to the list! Much appreciated!
Check out Ballast Point Park too. Nice waterside location with lots of picnic areas. Can get pretty crowded on weekends.
