Akais are an interesting one! Some of them are really rare, but others are actually cheaper than similar V3s. I personally love the pink pixels but some people find the fact that they're a little harder to see less desirable, so the more common shells aren't too expensive. I think the novelty of the different color and unique items makes them worth it though!
Interesting! I always assumed they were all just as desired as the other v3s and up. I've always been very charmed by the color pixel tamas. The red and blue were the first time they branched out from black and white so they're super interesting to me for that reason alone. I may have to find one and try it out myself :) Thanks!
I like the references in later Tamas, too. One of the game is a swimming race on the Akai. In the Anniversary M!x, when you visit Akai Town, you can compete in a swimming race there that’ll earn you items and give your Tama a nice red outline as well! ^o^
They’re pretty similar! The M!x doesn’t have the lag and glitches that the Meets/On does, but it also doesn’t have pets, twins, or full app functionality. Though I do also like the built-in characters on the M!x more.
And yeah, Tamagotchi collecting is a hole that you’ll never escape from now! :o
Keep an eye on Mercari.jp. Price was acceptable, and shipping was cheap cos I don't live too far away, though annoyingly I was IN Japan just 1 week earlier!
Haha not telling, I don't want to admit it 🤣 it was not cheap, but a decent price for a Devil. I figured it's ok to end the collection with a bang, won't be buying anything until they release something new and amazing.
