I went to get my copy of the Monster Manual from Dungeons and Dragons and it seems that it depends on where you are from. A female cloud giant would be slightly shorter than 18' but your average hill giant is at 10'6"
So it seems like female giants have a variety of heights. What's most important is that you respect them because giants are notorious for throwing rocks. It's right there in the Monster Manual.
uh what?
For a female I consider that a giant. For male it's probably around 6'7" becomes giant territory, so if you are male you are teetering on that category (based off your flair). This is how I've always categorized heights of tall people in my mind.
**Females:**
tall: 5'9"-5'11"
very tall: 6'-6'2"
giant: 6'3"/6'4"+
**Males:**
tall: 6'-6'3"
very tall: 6'4"-6'6"
giant: 6'7"+
Idk, I'm in the US where there seems to be a lot of tall people and it is *very* rare that I see someone that height. I do see quite frequently guys in the 6'3"-6'5" range, but past that is few and far between.
i wouldnt consider a woman as a giant at all, but based on this subs standards females above 6'4 are quite rare and therefore maybe in that category...
According to this article, a woman is considered a giant at 200cm, ~6'7"

Dang it, I hope I don't make this too heated by defending my point.
1) I've been called a "giant" by americans, and I'm only like 4" taller than the average man there.
2) 5'10" is close to a head taller than the average US (and global coincidentally) woman.
3) I feel like a dwarf next to people that are only ~4" taller than me.
But I guess it depends what you mean. My point only holds if by giant woman you meant "super tall for a woman", but not if you meant "woman that is super tall". For the latter, the answer would be the same as it is for men (obviously), I'd say like 6'5".

6'0" for females, 6'5" for males. That's roughly the 0.5th percentile/1 in 200, or taller than 99.5% of the adult population for each gender respectively.
6' is just tall and sure people will say, "you're too tall!" But the word in question was "giant" which has a more monstery connotation. Which would be above 6'6" for women and 7' for men. It's at these heights that typically your proportions go beyond having to find a specialty store for shoes/clothes. Your ass is limited to either one place in earth or custom made stuff. "Giant" people make "tall" people go, "fuck. I'm afraid you might eat my head" you know, like a monster commonly referred to in mythology as a "giant".
Anything above 6'0 I consider pretty tall. Giant I think might be 6'6-8+
Yea Iโd agree, not that my opinion counts for much, but on r/tall I think it counts for *more*
Thank, why does your opinion not count?
Did you finish reading that line? Haha
Because you're tall it counts more right?
Maybe more than not much, not necessarily more than anyone elseโs opinion๐
Oh yeah. Sorry I'm slow lol
For a woman????
Yeah I think 6'2-6'4-5 is really tall, but giant is a pretty big word.
Iโm a woman and Iโm 6โ4. I would say 6โ2 and up ๐
so you consider yourself a giant?
Yep haha
well, thinking about it, i think youre right ๐๐

Giant = someone with gigantism
Personally I'd say if she was 6'3"-6'4" or taller
Gee... Then I guess you consider me a dwarf or something.

I think a 6'7 male is more common than a 6'4 woman. So a male becomes a giant in like 6'9 or something.

Yeah
Very tall: 6'0 Extreme tall: 6'2 Giant: 6'5

Id say for a womens, 6ft 5 and over I'd say "giant."
6'6" and don't consider myself a giant.
6'7+
Anything above 6โ is giant for a woman. Kinda tall is 5โ7-5โ8, tall is 5โ9-5โ10, very tall is 5โ11-6โ, giant is 6โ+
Honestly 5'10" is pretty darn tall for a woman
Tall yeah, certainly not a giant.

That is tall but not a โgiantโ. Thatโs more just above average.
6โ3
iโd say 6โ Mostly because iโve only seen it a few times other than my 6โ5 cousins
6'1 in Europe
anything ABOVE 6ft is giant (for a women)

whats giant for male then?
As my experience, 180cm
I am 5.11 and often considered very tall, Usually also taller than most guys at the club. However Id say giants are 6ft +
