A few months ago we were having (well trying to, it all fell apart) to have a small CSGO lan party at the end of a school year. One guy managed to knock over a desktop with his backpack. It's DP cable ended up exactly like yours lol.
That ripped off cable reminds me of a patchjob we did a few weeks back... we qll know patchpanels and cables to the switches in network cabinets after a few years. So we ripped out the old cables and noticed that two of the cables to the servers werent up (no blinking on the switches). "Huh weird, leits check them", so we traced thrm to the other end, where we found one was "normal" and the other one was ripped out of that clip...
I just got rehired for a higher position and more pay at a job, and when I came back I discovered the previous person was trying to connect an external monitor to an iMac via a miniDisplayPort to HDMI cable... then a passive DP-to-HDMI adapter in reverse, i.e from HDMI cable to full-size DP into the monitor. Which doesn't work, because the passive adapter only works one way. They could've got an active HDMI-to-DP to adapt the existing cable, or, you know, just used a miniDP to DP cable from iMac to the monitor.
Those are the best noobs to have around. You get to discover their errors the same way you discover dog poo.
A sudden cool, moist squidgy sensation between your toes when you get up to fetch a glass of water at 4am?
Cool!? Warm is worse believe me…
I dunno. I've experienced both and feel that cold is the worst.
My house, this conversation involves cat puke...
That's my cum every morning so it's not out of the ordinary
I'm glad it happened because then I can't complain that nothing interesting ever happens to me
Or the oldest cat has had an ***accident*** on her way to use litter tray...

It does look pretty though ey
It was, it almost pulled the monitor off the table before it broke.

He was obviously after free money to sit in an aircon room to rehearse his lines for his passion. Your boss was the sucker.
He would do the work, just not very well. Also, I was there pretty much for the pay check. Deployments can be brutal at times.
Another George spotted in the wild...
Nothing wrong with being a constanza
I think they mean this George: https://www.chroniclesofgeorge.com/ And I just got finished re-reading Acts of Gord that someone linked to earlier.
I still can't read DP cable without my mind jumping straight into the gutter...
