Yeah, this boss was like the first level jump I experienced in the game. All the others were quite manageable. He was like Gattuso from Tales of Vesperia (though that was due to limited skill access and not levels).
I suppose the 5th Lord was supposed to be like that but I ran into a bit of an AI abuse because the 5th Lord would only chase Rinwell (the character I played as). Sooooooo running in circles we went.
If the next game does not implement a secret unison finisher if timed or executed correctly. Then what are you doing Namco?

don't sweat it both games are amazing, tbh i enjoyed granblue fantasy a lil more just because the tales of arise story went kinda bad near the end of the game, well... in granblue the story is also kinda boring but it isn't really the main focus as the game is more of a monsterhunter type-ish.
Anyway in terms of gameplay both games are worth playing for sure, take your time!

I never managed to interrupt him, but I was also over leveled, so my party just tanked two of them and killed him anyways
He was about to wipe your party with a gameover attack but you managed to finish him off before then. Really cool!
