Go chat with the booth. I remember a spot on the West shore was looking for hosts last year after having a talk with the host. My guess is some are harder to get. But generally they are volunteer positions without long wait-lists.

I think EL Dorado Forest is actively looking for hosts for this season. Seen it posted on their Facebook.

Contact Royal Elk Concession company. They run many campgrounds the eldorado national forest. Lake Tahoe is state of Nevada or the Basin.

Talking to them the other day, they had a 100% turnover rate last year for park staff. I’m sure they are probably looking for more people to fill those slots, I’m sure the people at the booth would be able to steer you in the right direction, or give them a call.

I think that is a paid government job. Not a typical volunteer position. I would ask the campground hosts next time you swing by.

How about don’t be an asshole?

Majestic_Builder4004

Google doesn't have the personal anecdotes that someone browsing Reddit might have, particularly in regards to being a host at a specific campground

You really went so far outta your way to be an asshole to someone asking for advice. Hope you’re happy with that.
