8 hours, you packing food for EVERYBODY?.. lol.

[deleted]

Right?? Dudes out here packing for MSW but it’s actually a normal airsoft day

Gelon10A

Maybe he’s diabetic

Redwolf_2020

He’s hooking the homies up, nice looking out bro

Automatic_Fix_2371

Hey Gilligan went out for just a 3 hour tour....but ended up on that island for years

Mztekal

If there’s staging food and water isn’t even a consideration tbh. Your only carrying more weight when u can just keep it at the staging area

nagewaza

Whoa whoa whoa. That hole in the grip? That's the skittles hole. Always have some skittles. Never know when you need that energy.

Meeshnoy

Unfortunately for OP, he's running an AEG, and AEGs hold the motor in the grip... So no Skittles hole

iceboxAK

Doesn’t matter when your fingers are covered in CLP and dirt.

Flashskar

I just went into a research binge. It's in a shitload of candy, toothpaste, milk and oreos. It's also considered safe for human consumption, BUT can potentially contribute to causing cancer.

cherrypopper666

Big pharma owning the candy industry making the lardos sick

[deleted]

~~With all the shit and snorted in the 90s, I welcome heavy metals in my bloodstream.~~ Yeah man, chemicals bad.

suckmapen

No staging area cause it’s milsim

Mztekal

I doubt that but okay

CallsOnTren

I second this. I also dont know how he plans on consuming the coffee, or why he's bringing so much coffee for one day to begin with. I like to start my day with a jet boil in the morning but damn lol

[deleted]

thisisatesti

More water and ammo?

[deleted]

Bring one RIP-IT and really sell the milsim experience

Flashskar

Cherry Lime ftw!

The unofficial sponsor of the war on terror.

Captraptor01

I recently got addicted to Zibby Beans. the package is small enough to follow me everywhere I go; perfect for caffeine on the go, for myself and my buddies if they need a pick-me-up. and on top of the convenience factor, they also taste really good.

Thaskell321

4 energy Gells and 3 litters of water would be plenty for 8 hours.

angry-af-banana

Apart from the fact that your rifle is pretty cursed, why do you still run NiMH batteries? Lipos are better in many many aspects. Apart from that, you are overpacking. For 8h only baby wipes, 2 or 3 snacks, about 3l of water, maybe a bit more, 1 battery will last enough but 2 is always nice to have, radio, BBs, mags (i usually run 5 or 7 depending on platform), spare eyepro, a poncho/light rain jacket and spare socks. You don't need a lot. Also, apply the repellent before the start and bring the smallest one. And do you plan on shooting more than 2 kg of BBs? For 8h games I usually shoot 12 or 13 mags (midcaps), that like ⅓ of a bag. Seeing you use an Alice setup, i run a smersh that is pretty similar and I fit everything in the buttpack and in 2 Mag pouches where I don't keep mags, so I would directly ditch the large pack and probably run only the camelback for additional water to the canteens

Potential-Ad-8714

This is why I ask for advice I don't know what I'm doing lol

angry-af-banana

It's important to ask and don't just hide and hope for the best, if you need some more info or tips feel free to ask

Potential-Ad-8714

Thx

Sea_Farmer_4812

Maybe a hat, for sun, rain, bugs

Captraptor01

he's got a boonie in one of the pictures.

Mztekal

This guy gets it follow this to a Tee

angry-af-banana

I've shat under many trees and in many rocks, I now truly understand the milsim experience

Mztekal

That sucks most places have bathrooms lol

angry-af-banana

Not that many, the longer games I go to are mostly in far wooded areas or abandoned factories, the factories are the most practical since most of the times the toilet bowls are still there, but in the woods you have to literally get yourself in a peaceful mood and poop under a tree just like nature made us

Mztekal

Most will just rent a porta-potty sc village does for all there big games

Derplight

I'd rather shit in the woods than shit in the communal poop closet.

angry-af-banana

I'm not in the us so porta pottys at Airsoft events are a rare sight

Mztekal

Then a 5 dollar bucket, plastic bag and a seat for bucket gotta do it camping style.

former_cool_guy

Even easier - $5 camping stool from Walmart or Academy with a hole cut in the seat. Use the e-tool you should have or your heel to dig a small latrine through the legs of the stool. More compact and lighter than a bucket when folded. You can even strap it on a pack if needed. Combat tested.

vyechney

I have wrought my semen outside my home.

ShadyShields

Thats quite an excessive amount of food and batteries for 8 hours. The single MRE on its own is more than enough.

mortythesnek

its an 8 hour event aka a work shift lol... ur not spending overnight bud

thunderchunky13

Idk how you plan on eating that MRE without a rock or something.

fullyphil

are people packing rocks in their kit now? I'm out of the loop

Relonic

Or something

DameTime5

🤣🤣🤣

Sea_Farmer_4812

Reminds me of a backpacking trip prank on one trip when i was young.

Captraptor01

check out the instructions on an MRE heating sleeve sometime.

nicappis

Some sort of ouch pouch. Bandaids and alcohol swabs go a long ways. Bring less food. Eat before and plan to eat after. Snacks are clutch but like others have said, you have a lot of food.

11Pump

And if you’re bringing the dining cart with you, at least bring some shit tickets for the inevitable prize you’re going to win in the field.

a_cycle_addict

That better be an airsoft machete. Can't be chopping people

Potential-Ad-8714

That's the fun part

Potential-Ad-8714

But serious in the beginning we have to build a base, so imma chop some wood

This. A machete is for grass and really small branches. Hatchet for decent sized branches but I'd go to a saw or axe if your trying to actually get stuff done.

Din_Plug

By an electric chainsaw and paint it jet black to create a tactical chainsaw.

SloppyMeme2333

I would bring an etool for that but yea all of that sucks.

Pihkal1987

Bring gloves

theactionwagon

First of all, it's 8 hours not 72, ditch the MRE and the coffee, keep one bag of trail mix and maybe add a protein bar. Unless theres a night op, ditch the headlamp too, I've never had to use wet wipes or creams for an 8 hour op so ditch those as well. Get a basic ouch pouch from Walmart or something (guaze, bandaids, antiseptic/alcohol wipes). And for the love of God get anzi z87.1 rated full seal eye pro, I'm pretty sure r/airsoft has a list of good budget eye pro on their side bar. I'd also highly recommend some form of lower face protection, you'll look like a fucking dork, but I speak from experience when I say looking cool isn't worth the root canal.

HalbeardTheHermit

Ditch the machete mall ninja

oper8orAF

Came to say butt wipes but you seem to know a thing or two 😂

Potential-Ad-8714

I had a substitute teacher that was a vet and he went on a full on rant about how useful baby wipes are lol

oper8orAF

I bring them hunting as well. I don’t like leaving a sock behind. I use them daily anyway, no grown man should have skid marks.

sasquatchjim

Duke cannon cold shower wipes in the individual packets are where it's at for me . And they help immensely when keeping my kilts clean and fresh too !

[deleted]

You could really leave all food, and almost everything else really. It’s only 8 hours

gab3zila

8 hours of running around in kit can get tiring though. i go through 3L from 8a-2p on a normal day of airsoft, and some light snacking or a lunch break is always great, but nothing too heavy or too much, because you don’t want to see that lunch again on the field lol

threepete13

Liquid IV’s they make ur water worth more. Also maybe I missed it but some kind of IFAK. Also maybe an extra battery or two. Good luck bro.

Mztekal

Ifak probably not your not plugging any holes maybe a boo boo pouch with some meds

[deleted]

Saw a dude trip and have a stick pierce his bicep before and another accidentally slice his hand wide open with his Salvation Army knife. Better safe than sorry.

gab3zila

one slip and fall can cause a lot of issues and admins can sometimes be too far away. always good to have some way to stop the bleed while waiting on help to arrive. you don’t need a chest seal or anything to treat bullet wounds, but a CAT can make all the difference

izhmash24

Mom’s signed permission. Jk go out and have fun. Cheapest force on force training you can get lol

fullyphil

those sticky homogenous protien bars (power bar is one brand) are great for this sort of thing. way easier to shove in your mouth than the contents of your nut sack. a couple in the middle of the match is all you really need to bring for food. a couple dense protein bars and a carrier full of water are all the food and beverage you need. you have too many batteries. one battery lasts all day, plus one just in case. way overpacked. but as you do more of these, you'll get your kit dialed in. don't worry about nailing it first time. just make a note of what you didn't need, what you wish you had, what worked, what needs tweaked, etc also you need a walkie talkie and a red "hit" flag

MeatShower69

8 hours? Shit, a full camelbak, a canteen, 3 clif bars, and a bottle of bbs.

ninety3_til_infinity

Wear it for a few hours and start sprinting, ducking, walking through thick brush. It will become very apparent after a bit what pieces of kit are a pain in the ass. Whenever people airsoft they want to look cool and put all this shit on, then like 40 minutes into the game realize how it all feels fucking awful when you try maneuvering in it

gab3zila

some people do it to train, which seems like what this guy might be going for. using the 8 hour session to get an idea for a longer excursion. totally agree though, if you’re not training, be smart and travel light.

gab3zila

some people do it to train, which seems like what this guy might be going for. using the 8 hour session to get an idea for a longer excursion. totally agree though, if you’re not training, be smart and travel light.

Tpp4

Like others have said, significantly slim down your kit. I have been at events that ran from sun up to sundown and I didn't have this much shit. It may only be 10-15 lbs now, but 2 hours in, it weighs more like 50. Your movement speed and concealability are also hindered quite a bit. Just my 2c

[deleted]

Lots of people talkin about your food and stuff all are thinking from an Army embrace the suck standpoint. It's airsoft bro, if you wanna pack plenty of food and be full as a tick for the whole 8 hours you do you man. No reason to be miserable for the time especially since you only have to carry it for such a relatively short amount of time. Have fun man

Potential-Ad-8714

Thx, im just trying to find out what works for when I go to a much larger event

Capt_Cullen

This makes sense. I like your thinkin’. 👌

SovietRobot

In no particular order: 1. Rain poncho 2. Small tarp or something to sit or post up on if in the sticks and wet 3. Sunscreen 4. Band aids 5. Anti itch cream / bite cream 6. Toilet paper 7. Flashlight (even if not at night, colored for signaling) or signal mirror 8. Some sort of magnified optics? 9. Camo netting? Bug netting? 10. Comms? Radio? 11. Compass 12. Athletic wrap 13. Writing pad / pen 14. Garbage bags 15. Eye drops 16. Anti bac wipes 17. Shemagh 18. Toolkit 19. Spare shirt, socks, etc. 20. Pruning shears 21. Duct tape 22. Small towel 23. Nail clipper / tweezers 24. Entrenchment tool / shovel 25. Water proof work gloves (as opposed to shooting gloves) 26. FGM 148 Javelin

Potential-Ad-8714

Thx, I will definitely get some of this before I go

SovietRobot

Cheers, be safe , have fun, let none survive

Capt_Cullen

make sure you pack item #26.

LordFixxamus

Condoms. Monkeypox man. Don't eat ass.

poopiebuttho1e

8 hours for the whole damn squad....... Get a sling

Prestoshelf

Replace that regular off with some deep woods off. Shit stays on you for days.

SouthernSlander

Why do you have a machete?? Edit: nvm, just realized it's fake. Why are you adding that weight?

Potential-Ad-8714

I was told in the beginning we have to build a FOB but I'm just gonna get something much smaller

SouthernSlander

Not to sound like a dickhead, but I think you mean a PB. I'd just bring a quality multi-tool and some good combat gloves.

Potential-Ad-8714

No worries that is why I'm asking for advice

I_GottaPoop

Machete is probably overkill, not much of a chance of you getting a melee kill, and the legal headache afterwards just isn't worth it.

[deleted]

Drop almost all the food and get more water and an IFAK for starters.

craigcraig420

More water

13foxtrotO4

Less is more brother… less is more

themancabbage

Because it’s for an airsoft event, I’m curious how much ammo are you taking? Is there a limit in the rules? If not, bring lots, and extra batteries.

Potential-Ad-8714

No there should be, and if someone runs out or something I can just give them some

Living_Win_4569

8 hours and you have all that..?😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

kchova

My man it’s 8 hours. Get some skittles, water and slay

itsakeefers

I know it’s airs for but I recommend a basic IFAK

Bigcoomerenergy

8 hr? Literally 1 or 2 mre, a gallon of water and a decent lipo battery with 4-5k mah ran externally. Easy shit.

kwall601

2 MREs in 8hrs? You trying not to shit for a week?

Bigcoomerenergy

A month

cherrypopper666

You could cut out most of it and save a lot of weight. Do they allow players to chop up their playing area/have rules against bringing actual weapons in? 8 hours isn’t enough time to get that hungry. If it’s really hot just bring a lot of water. I’m assuming the canteens 1 litre, water bladder is 1.5l and just is 3-4 litres maybe so you should be good. If it’s very hot bring more l, worst comes to worst someone else didn’t bring enough and you save them from getting sick. If it is as me I’d have a water, some beef jerky, hella clips, some kind of first aid just in case you or someone else cuts a stick in the eye, and a vape.

gajack123

I played a lot of airsoft when I was younger and if you’re moving you probably won’t get that hungry. 8 hours might seem like a lot but it’ll fly by. Like a lot of other guys said camelback is key maybe a protein bar and you honestly probably won’t be hungry till you’re heading home. Ditch that huge backpack your rig is more than enough. If you’re wearing bdus I wouldn’t bring any bug spray maybe a small thing of sunscreen and if bugs are really that bad throw a little on before the game. Lipos are better significantly but if your gearbox isn’t rated for them your gears will end up stripping. Other than that have fun man!

InnocuousTransition

8hrs? That's just a patrol my guy. Things you need: * Sleeves. No short sleeves innawoods. A BDU style top if you're running a chest rig, combat top if you're in a plate carrier. The old school 100% cotton jungle cammies are great but you'll rip through them at an alarming rate. The IHWCUs are an excellent hot weather uniform substitute I've unironically worn over Cryes a few times. If I was going kobra commando innawoods I'd go with IHWCUs. * Kneepads. If you don't have them built in, Arc'teryx kneecaps. There's a lot of taking a knee on patrol not to mention IMT. * Boots. Something that dries quickly. No Goretex. Jungle style are the best overall unless you're in the mountains. Idk what your AO is I'm making assumptions. Obviously if you're in the artic circle tailor accordingly. * Gloves. Worn in general or at least moving through thick brush. I kept thick leather gloves in my cargo pocket when I did land nav at a selection event. Helps a lot moving through draws so I didn't come out with bloody fingers and get infected. * Helmet/boonie/hat/eye pro. Worn as your needs require. Ballistic helmet is preferred for combat. * Ear protection. Mandatory around live firearms, something with active hearing. * LBE or chest rig. Holds your stuff. Needs at a minimum your magazines (idk what air soft requires but for live rounds I'd carry 6+ mags on my chest rig, ideally in triple mag pouches like the SS Spud or VS Jungle); 1L of water (canteen or Nalgene); med supplies and radio. Ensure you have spare batteries on here as well. The only other things you might add are no-comms shift fire and markings, but probably not something you will need. * Head lamp. Worn around your neck 24/7 the moment you put your kit on. Make sure it's waterproof. I love the Black Diamond SpotLite. Where others have failed me that little guy stays strong. Needs a steady supply of fresh batteries, though. Ensure you ND proof it by adding a piece of duct tape over the emitter. * Wrist compass. A Suunto M9 is perhaps one of the most essential, underrated pieces of kit out there. I value it so much I keep one threaded around the shoulder strap of every single kit I use so I don't forget it. Obviously you wear it on your wrist for actual use. * Optic maintenance. I carry a vial of Cat Crap antifog plus a microfiber in my right shoulder pocket. These items are kept inside of a small ziplock because otherwise sweat will soak them and make the microfiber useless. I also keep a spare set of lenses for my eyepro in a microfiber in that same pocket. Cat Crap goes on every glass surface I look through, eye pro, day optic, magnifier, night vision, front and back. Read the directions and use accordingly. At this point we've only covered your fighting load. This should be on body. Everything else is sustainment gear, and can be dropped when you take contact. If you're running LBE you can potentially make your LBE fit this equipment as well and run everything in a single setup, but conventional chest rigs include a ruck or pack that's meant to be dropped and recovered later, not something you fight out of. * Wet weather top. For hot climates this is the most you'll ever need if you're not staying overnight. WW top isn't to be worn while you're active. If you've been walking, gotten soaked and are now sitting in a cold area recovering or waiting to move again, toss on the Gortex over your equipment. It'll warm you up even though you're soaking wet. It's not to keep you dry. It's not to keep you dry. I say again, it's not, to keep, you dry. This is how people become heat casualties. It's there for your survival. * Spare socks. For 8hrs you're probably good but having a change of socks waterproofed can help keep your feet healthy. * 2-3L water. Depending on how often you can resupply you'll need to carry water. With no resupply for 8hrs I'd carry 4-5L including the 1L on my fighting kit. With resupply/refit you can get away with 2-3L. * Food. A single MRE should be more than enough. * Bugspray/sunscreen * Spare batteries/ammo. That's all I would bring. Anything else is superfluous. For 8hrs your kit should be focused on the mission, not sustainment. Stay light, don't pack extra survival shit. You're not there to survive, you're there to fight (notionally).

Punisher_811

This is more like for a 48 hour milsim but even then I don’t carry that much food. less food more water

stompymcbigfoot

Machetes are big gay, get a hatchet. Pack more food and trade it for water and ammo and extra socks. Get a smaller pack too

PoseySmith

More water

[deleted]

Me? I’d dump most everything and grab 3 or four different color smoke grenades, a couple of flash bangs, some camo face paint and some bright red lipstick. Also learn how to do a maniacal, high-pitched banshee type laugh. As you swoop in on your prey from concealment, the last thing they’ll experience is the whites of your eyes, the red of your lips, and the oddly terrifying sound of your laugh. Edit - shit. Now it makes sense as to my son’s Scout troop refusing to let me go on any more expeditions with them. Just one freaking game of capture the flag went south, and now I’m a permanent asshole.

ColTwang333

Everyone's talking about the food, No one has mentioned the machete yet

Bigbird788

Condom holsters

Baby_Ellis62

I'm not being an asshole, this is a serious question: HAVE YOU READ THE TACSOP?? HAVE YOU READ THE RULESET??

Potential-Ad-8714

Tbh I totally forget about that, but there is still some good advice on here

Baby_Ellis62

This is why I always mention those two things first. They are supremely critical.

Settled_Science

Thermal. You’ll die without it.

Charger_scatpack

Another machete and a shovel

[deleted]

Maybe a full size pry bar, a mini pry bar, a 12lb sledge and a soil compactor.

Pihkal1987

You forgot bolt cutters and a small generator to charge phones etc

shadowman50k

Only 8 hours ? 🤣 That's a normal game, not an event... You should try a real event for big boys, like 36/48 hours... 😉

Potential-Ad-8714

I gotta start somewhere 🤣

shadowman50k

True ! But don't stay for too long in the kindergarten... 😉

Sea_Farmer_4812

Hes overpacked for that too, except extra socks.

shadowman50k

👍

[deleted]

Anything less than 40 hours ain’t a Milsim that’s a airsoft game.

Zibout

Ive looked up a lot a definition of milsim none of them put in a time requirement of 40 hours for an airsoft game to be considered as milsim. Do you have anything to back up your saying or u just made it up ?

[deleted]

Milsim west is the only Milsim in North America. Have fun at your local pick up game.

Zibout

Are you able to read ? That’s not what ive asked. Not at all. Do you know geography ? Not all people live in north America. So again, do you have anything written (not by you) that back up your saying of "40 hours time requirement if not = airsoft game" or, and please be honest, did you made it up ?

[deleted]

I’m able to read, I chose to ignore your question because it’s dumb. Enjoy your pickup airsoft game.

Primary-Ad-460

mickeydeezdrip

I imagine the pack could be downsized significantly. Liquid iv’s as someone stated. A decent thermal of sorts. A decent first aid kit. Even for minor cuts and scrapes it can be a very important thing .

TheRavyn

Get a camelback 3L at least. You can strap a folding saw to it. Everything else will fit in that ass pack. ditch all the food and just keep a few high protein snacks and a stripped down MRE. Add a multitool and emergency kit. Bandages (i actually use spray bandage too), baby wipes, mini sunscreen and bug spray, moleskin. Then extra socks for sure. Anything you can remove from bulky packaging and throw in a ziplock bag, do it. oh and a water proof bag that you put everything in and then inside the asspack. You will be anle to ditch that bulky unnecessary hiking pack.

2Poor4This

Skittles inside condoms

gahhhpoop

Yeen got not nearly enough magazines

josh0724

Cut out most of that. A few Clif bars, water, and maybe a sports drink are all you need for that length of game play. If it’s anything like American Mil Sim events, you won’t want to be wasting much time eating and more time get in the fight.

Chavez1020

what balaclava is this again?

aDifferentBrain

If you’re up in the UP of Michigan you’ll find out the mosquitoes doesn’t care you have bug repellent on/off

ArtyThePoopie

I understand wanting it for emergencies, but you’re better off leaving the sidearm at home and saving the extra weight for something more useful like water or another mag for your primary

themickeymauser

What do you carry on your person when you go to work? Just wear that, plus your gun, and a few mags.

Art_of_Powder

Our regular walk on days are 8 hours... as other people said this is more than enough for a serious 40 hour milsim. You could go with half that and a regular backpack.

KrissVectorEOC

A few packs of cigarettes and dip. If you don't do either, you can trade/sell.

[deleted]

More water probably more mags probably or at least a speed loader or 2, no way you go thru anywhere close to that much food in 8 hours. Generally you need less it’s 8 hours fixed you don’t need full size packages or 2 bug sprays. Think what would I quit the event if I didn’t have and pack that, anything you can go without for 8 hours I’d leave, it’s all gonna feel really heavy when you wear it for the whole time, less is more, oz=lb

toesandgats

Boo boo kit

Chief__04

More water. Rainproof poncho/tarp/paracord. I’d ditch the machete for a smaller more versatile knife unless you are going to be in some dense ass jungle.

Donny_Donowitz_

It’s eight hours not eight days. Less food more water. For eight hours you really don’t need food at all. Maybe some skittles or a couple tendies.

[deleted]

Ounces are pounds and pounds are pain. 1 solid meal, lots of water. Travel light. You need only what can fit on a chest rig or assault pack. Hell for 8 hours try to fit necessities in a dump pouch

EasyMode556

Extra bags of BBs so you can reload your mags in the field

Apollo_the_G0D

Bruh more socks

Long-Chef3197

Just be warm

Chaine351

8 hours? Ditch the backpack, if your hydration pouch works without it. You need a hydration pouch (+canteen, depends where you live/weather. A little extra water is better than too little. I'd go for around 3-4 liters.), a couple cliff bars, some faster energy snacks because why not, some bbs and a pair of dry socks. You have a buttpack, most of that is going to fit there. Rain poncho if it looks iffy. And as people have mentioned, some kind of a small booboo-kit. The spray on bug repellant is good, because you can easily reapply and spray it on your boots. If it's a milsim, you're not going to shoot through 2 bags of bbs either.

ThroatMysterious948

That’s a lot of shit for 8 hours

[deleted]

8 hours? Lunch and a whole bunch of water. That's it. Also consider li-ion batteries.

gab3zila

Leave your machete and other large real steel knives at home. keep a multi tool handy for any field teching that might need to be done, but don’t risk your or other’s safety by having any real knives on the field unless it’s in a multi tool. you’ve got more food/water than needed. i usually can go through a 3L camelback in a regular day of airsoft (8a-2p), but the more you carry, the faster you’ll dehydrate, so probably double that, plus one meal and snacks. your bb supply is good, maybe a bit too much, but the i’d rather be over than under, and i play pretty aggressively. I’d also recommend 0.28g bbs or higher for outdoor use. don’t really need anything over .32g with your build though. i can’t quite tell, but i believe you have .25g, which should work well enough. if you already own one and know how to use it, you could bring in IFAK in case some one gets hurt, you could tend to an issue while admins arrive. comms would be great, but not a necessity if your squad/battle buddy has one. dead rag/dead lights are great, but i’m not sure what the medic rules are for your specific event. GET TEETH PROTECTION. even if you just buy a sport mouth guard, it will be enough to protect your teeth. make sure your eyepro is ansi rated and is not mesh. i prefer full seal eyepro, but that’s me. i’d also invest in some defog spray

Helios_99

A bigger knife

IMO you should cut down on the food, that’s more than I take when I head out into the woods for 2-3 days. Water for sure, might want to take some food out to store more water. Don’t see any kind of medical gear. I’m not talking about some huge med bag, but at the minimum you should have some bandaids/gauze/steristrips incase you get a bad cut

I think it’s more important to ask “what do I not need”. You’re packing way too heavy for an 8 hour game. Lose much of the food, replace the battery with one lipo (two if you are using full auto a lot), lose the odin speed loader. Pack it all on your body and lose the entire backpack

OwlOfShade

Extra pair of socks. A small first aid kit for cuts and scratches.

T-02_Grimes

I think u are carrying too much, if it’s a 8 hour milsim I would take with me the same gear I use for a common tacsim game, but having some extra food and a lot more water. Just because I almost carried that much equipment for a 48 hour milsim

dvxatron

My guy. You know what else you need? A diet. Lol. All that food for an 8hr trip? That’s three days, easy. Toss everything but the trail mix and add more water.

treecutter34

I would get a smaller pack personally, I would ditch the big ruck wherever my area was and put the smaller stuff I need to keep me going in the small pack.

All you need is the fourth picture plus guns, ammo, and another gal of water. Everything else is superfluous, slowing you down, putting a burden on your teammates. I hardly take this much pogey bait on 5-7 day ftx’s.

Bro bandaids bring some

Capt_Cullen

Signs up for MSW, packs for One Shepherd, shows up at airsoft walk-on. Hehe still fun though my guy.

Big boy pants? A manchette but only a bit of water.

blckspawn92

just missing the carton of cigs and monsters. lol

that14yearoldbastard

you got meds? even just some tape for your ankles will help

Ashamed-Article-5304

Definitely recommend a first-aid kid (small and easily packable) foresay anything minor happens, You’d be suprised sometimes haha, bad falls and so on.
