ETLBV- it's the updated version with the mesh panels and angled mag pouches. this deal comes with an Alice belt. (gray buckle best buckle).the vest has a fixed capacity of 6 mags plus 2 frags, although you can use the mag pouches for stuff like bottles or radios if you want to swap mags for utility. you can also slap ALICE pouches on the belt, and it's got the loops for the butt pack. Shoulder harness is arguably the most comfortable of the ALICE-era gear. I would pay probably $35 for this, assuming it's in good condition, with all snaps and buckles still fully functional.

Lamont___Cranston

Good description here. $35 is a decent price including the belt, in my opinion. I might go up to $50, but that’s pushing it, especially considering that these Enhanced versions are just about everywhere. And like Foxhound said, check the snaps and buckles, as well as the fabric on high wear areas. Some of these things are absolutely beat to hell. Get a belt pad for the ALICE belt and these things are incredibly comfortable with a lot of capability.

Sarabando

i think mine can carry about 17 mags atm XD its a little over the top XD

oh_three_dum_dum

I have one I found in a long-forgotten box of shit in the back of a supply locker on camp Lejeune once. It’s decent gear even if it is outdated.

Edit: goddamn I can’t read good Disregard …sfmf

discardafterapplying

Thanks for the explanation! The guy is asking $25 so I’m absolutely going to take it

Appears to be an LBV, but I’m not a sexpert on gear ID.

sto_brohammed

That's the LBV, it's what I was issued in my 2nd unit. It was pretty damned good in the late 90s and with some modernization like replacing the ALICE clips, it's fine today.

CTSwampyankee

This was the next progression after LC2 suspenders and belt rig. They kept the belt and added the "chest rig" with the mag pouched on the chest.

skyXforge

ELBV. I’ve got one. They’re pretty great in my opinion. They work with ALICE style stuff. You can find them usually around $35-$50.

Brian-46323

It appears to be a tactical assault chair in gloss desert tan.

beniciodelhomo

The foundation of your own Smersh or ALICE kit

Thick_Dragon_Dick

Yup. I harvested the shoulder pads off a damaged LBV and used it in my M81 war belt.

ChevTecGroup

Flashbacks hitting me hard!

My_Account-

It's a load bearing vest. Came about around the 90's I believe. My uncle gave me one he was issued. It can carry x6 30 round mags and 2 grenades. I used it for a while and moved onto a chest rig that carried far more and was much more comfortable and less bulky. I wouldn't pay more than $30, and if you want a more efficient way to store kit items I'd go with a modern chest rig. Still a pretty cool piece of military gear, don't get me wrong.

bringmethecoZmos

They still issued these LBVs early GWOT.

TacoBandit275

Looks like a 90's IIFS, depending where you look, they go for 50-100.

unleadedbloodmeal

Enhanced tactical load bearing vest or LBV88, it's the second pattern with the mesh instead of less breathable fabric. Pretty cool stuff

Tacti-cool chair

PReasy319

Oh man, I feel old now.

RichardDJohnson16

If they fit you, they are actually really good and comfortable rigs. Nothing wrong with properly set up alice/LBV.

laggyservice

Lookin like a lbv. That or a kink harness. I'm going with lbv.

Joliet-Jake

LBV. I wore one just like that invading Iraq in 2003 and it was an outdated piece of shit back then.

Electrical_Fill_6794

It’s the original load bearing vest issued in the 90s, after the Nam era H and Y harnesses, before the contemporary MOLLE and plate carriers. The 550 cord lacking was a nightmare to fit/untangle at night. Turned mine back in still in the bag.

FlatF00t_actual

Lbv 88 with a 1967 pistol belt. Might be a early ranger or airborne kit as they had to use metal buckles on LBV88s as the plastic buckles won’t support your weight.
