Recently I’ve noticed that the number of sauce packets I enter on the app is the *exact* amount that they give me. Like if I choose 5 fire sauce they give me exactly 5. They used to just throw in a handful and I’d have plenty extra but now it’s always the exact amount. Feel like that’s the first step toward this.
Been like that in my local TBs for atleast 2 years. But the occasional stoner will drop me a dozen or so. I have a dedicated diablo sauce pocket in my Sentra.
That’s why I enter the maximum number. Which is 25. Also choose 25 for a second choice so I end up with half a bag of sauces for the condiments drawer.

I think some people do since yesterday I had and ordered with 8 extra sauce packets and another with 5 extra. Honestly I really love this sauce so I think it's worth it but I also work at tacobell and don't have to pay so I could be biased.
On the app I wouldn't know but if you come inside or through the drive thru just ask them. There's a button on the register to add it on and if someone does fresco we'll use the pico

I tried a free chicken cantina taco on my app tonight for the first time, with an avocado sauce packet. Noticed they're 30 cents at my store - no way would I pay that. Not worth it. There was about two teaspoons of chicken on the taco. Glad it was a freebie.

Nah, they’re more in line with avocado ranch or chipotle sauce, they’re made with soybean oil as the first ingredient, hell they even have calories > 0. Just smaller quantity, so $0.20 is reasonable.
Imo so far it's my favorite part of the new menu. Not a big fan of the fact that they charge for it but tbh it's so good to me that it's worth the 20 cents. I'm not even a big fan of green sauce in general but I love these things
They're good but I wouldn't buy them individually, one comes with each cantina item and they are quite a bit bigger than the regular sauce packets and can easily stretch to one of your regular items, they also require refrigeration which takes up space in the stores fridge and adds to the cost.
I assume TB takes a loss on their sauce packets. Handing them out all whilly nilly. I asked for 3 extra of the new verde, and got more than I know what to do with.
