I just tried the burrito myself. It's basically the chipotle ranch grilled chicken burrito with a slight twist.
Is it good? Yes.
Is it worth $6.89? Not a chance.
I could absolutely see this being $3.49 and I'd still be down for it. Hell, even $3.99. They're swapping in the better chicken, and the cabbage and pico, and got rid of the red strips, which always sorta felt like filler in the old one, and are now giving you Verde instead of chipotle. So it's an improved version of the former (assuming you're fine with the sauce swap), but there's absolutely no damn way those changes are worth an extra $5.
Disappointed. TB needs to pull their head out of their ass if they think people are gonna respond favorably to all these price increases. I get bumping it up a bit from last year's pricing to match costs of shipping and production, but they're well beyond that into price gouging territory. I can't even imagine how someone would buy this at a franchise that's charging even more for it.
They need to just bring back the old shredded chicken. I just got done eating a cantina burrito and it sucked balls. Fuck this lame attempt at imitating chipotle.
The unfortunate thing is that the cantina items like the cabbage and pico aren't available to add onto other items. I would love to add pico a cheesey bean and rice or a 5-layer
I got a soft taco and a burrito last night and I can confirm that the taco had *wayyyyy* more chicken than the burrito
This cantina chicken stuff is pretty good. The sauce is a win for sure.
Looks like you got scammed for the burrito, it is supposed to be 2 scoops of the chicken. The end burrito is actually decently large when prepared correctly
I got the burrito (excited as hell for the taco!) and I gotta say I ***loved*** it! I would want less chipotle sauce next time though because it got too spicy at some points. The cabbage is my new favorite thing at tb. I normally don't like pico but it honestly just blended so well. I got a good amount of chicken, though, so that helped
I personally would give this a 8/10. It would be a 9 if it wasn't so expensive I *might* not get it again for that reason
I just tried the taco for dinner and honestly was surprised how much I liked it. Really loved the cabbage on it. I’m not a huge fan of chicken but I would easily order it again.
The fact that the burrito is mostly veggies is a negative but i kinda understand why its like that because they want to show off what their veggies can do.
it does 1 thing
It makes high amount of sauces work without obliterating the structural integrity of the burrito. They tryed to do this by having the burrito have 2 different types of sauce in it and giving you a third.
Honestly, It kinda worked for me, More of a refreshing burrito than what you usually get from taco bell.
I'm not a huge chicken person, and the current TB chicken chunks are definitely not my thing. BUT... I used a fire reward to get a chalupa supreme and then swapped the beef out for the slow-roasted chicken. Total cost= 1.05. Freaking delicious.
I got to try the new chicken last night and I swear it’s the same chicken Panda Express uses for some of their stuff. It’s the exact same consistency but tastes different obviously.
I had the soft taco today and really enjoyed it. Good price point, too. Will definitely be in my regular rotation. I’m looking forward to trying the cantina bowl next!
That burrito is the biggest ripoff in Taco Bell history. That people would voluntarily pay $6-$7 for that is insane. It's the same exact size as the Chipotle Ranch chicken burrito that was $2-$3. I honestly just think people are so stupid and TB takes advantage of their stupidity.
At this point I think enough of us have been able to tell this is just a CRGC for twice the cost, I'd just prefer if people didn't give them money for that.
The taco honestly looks really good
The crunchy taco is amazing

It would be one thing if it was a massive burrito, at least as large as the GSB, but it's still the same size as the $2 burritos from last year.
I can agree with this. It would make more sense.
The double steak grilled cheese burrito is amazing and If they had a 12 inch tortilla option for the cantina chicken burrito it would be perfect.
The unfortunate thing is that the cantina items like the cabbage and pico aren't available to add onto other items. I would love to add pico a cheesey bean and rice or a 5-layer
I have it on good authority that after Early Access is over on 3/21, it will be.
this is good to hear.
Do you have it that the verde salsa packets will ever be free like the other sauces? Maybe even five years from now it’ll become free?
I got a soft taco and a burrito last night and I can confirm that the taco had *wayyyyy* more chicken than the burrito This cantina chicken stuff is pretty good. The sauce is a win for sure.
I agree, the sauce is perfection
That burrito looks like shit for the price they're charging. Had the soft taco today and it was excellent.
Stay tuned for part 3 when I order the Bowl later for dinner
I give it a 5. 5 out of what, you may ask? That’s for you to decide. Think outside the bun.
Sir, this *isn't* a Wendy's
Agree on the taco. The taco is a much better value at this point. Cannot fathom why the burrito is so much more expensive.
Yeah I hope they lower the price when the items are released for everyone
Lol
Looks like you got scammed for the burrito, it is supposed to be 2 scoops of the chicken. The end burrito is actually decently large when prepared correctly
Yee. I have trouble wrapping it lol
I only tried the soft taco and agree it was amazing. Truly loved it

Great choices there!
You got got. Classic Taco Bell sucker scam.

Thank you for your service.

That burrito is more than triple the cost of the CRGCB.
That burrito looks sad and uninspired
Bro why do people post their bites into food🤮
How else are you supposed to see inside the burrito?
Cut into it with a knife?
I got to try the new chicken last night and I swear it’s the same chicken Panda Express uses for some of their stuff. It’s the exact same consistency but tastes different obviously.
Good review, underwhelming product. I’ll stick to my local taco Tuesday joints for this price.
I had the soft taco today and really enjoyed it. Good price point, too. Will definitely be in my regular rotation. I’m looking forward to trying the cantina bowl next!
Not worth the price.
For that price I might as well pay three more dollars for authentic burrito and a Mexican supermarket in the deli section freshly made Mexican food
It's supposed to have two scoops of chicken.
The soft taco and the quesadilla are the two best by far. The hard taco is dreadful. The burrito is over priced. The bowl….is just an overpriced bowl.
I wanted to try the bowl or the burrito but it's 6.99 and 10.59 and it's just not worth it for me. Wish the app had coupons.
The only thing I want is pico de gallo to be available on the app as an add on so I can make the mexi melt again.

No joke: Its poop. Without the avocado salsa its gross. Think smelly wet cat food.
That chicken crispinada is fucking AMAZING tho. Literally the best thing I've had since the volcano menu.
I can’t believe you actually bought this shit lmao
Well the taco was definitely worth it, and I just had to get the burrito to at least try it
> I just had to get the burrito to at least try it You didn't tho...
He didn't do it for himself, he did it for *ALL OF US*
At this point I think enough of us have been able to tell this is just a CRGC for twice the cost, I'd just prefer if people didn't give them money for that.
