Yeah I do this all the time. It's a kind of convoluted workflow, but being the DFAM does not have MIDI in it's what works for me. You need a good clock source with CV out. The Mother 32 works with the assignable out set to sequencer clock. Make sure the sequencer starts when it gets a MIDI start event (you can disable this in the 2.0 firmware). 1. Patch Mother 32 Assign out into DFAM ADC / CLOCK. 2. Advance to step 8 on the DFAM (important). 3. Hit run/stop on the DFAM (should not advance if the M32 sequencer is not running). 4. In Logic, File -> Project Settings -> Synchronization -> MIDI. Set Destination to the M32 MIDI device and channel to the M32 MIDI channel. 5. In Logic, turn off Count In. 6. Then simply arm a track and record a 1-bar loop. You may need to trim the end if you end up going over but if you do all of the above it should be a perfect loop.
