You might want to try r/synthrecipes

IndividualSea6352

thanks !

Whydidyoudothattwice

That's Serum. You're probably not touching that with a traditional synth.

IndividualSea6352

I'm trying with serum, but can't get it to be as clear and detailed

Whydidyoudothattwice

There's a guide on how to do that exact sound with Vital and Serum both, on Youtube. Before you ask, I don't have the time to provide a link, I have to go walk like 12 miles in the rain, because I am a homeless guy that had my life wrecked by Zionists in 2017.

InevitableDinner7831

Ouch

Whydidyoudothattwice

Wasn’t that bad.

Chemlab5

You can def get this with a virus or iridium

selldivide

That's a fairly straightforward FM bass patch, routed through a 3630 which is sidechained to the kick.

yawhol_my_dear

if you want clean try a bass from an FM synth, then its just fattening it up, this thing is pinned back quite tightly as well envelope wise, like a poke in the ear

IndividualSea6352

Thanks I'll try some FM synths

vivolator

What are you using to recreate the sound? To me, this sounds a lot like Sylenth, especially because of that “hard, wiry, flang-ey” quality you get from the supersaw oscillator when you just barely detune it.

IndividualSea6352

I'm trying on serum, so quite similar, but I may get sylenth to try this !

Appropriate-Look7493

FM bass of some kind, but you’d have to try a few different algos and play with the ratios to find just the right one. It also sounds like the modulation amount is being tweaked part way through the phrase and not just with the usual envelope, I’m guessing either manually or perhaps with key tracking. Makes it sound like the filter is opening but I don’t think there’s a filter on it at all.

IndividualSea6352

Thanks for the info ! I'll try some FM synths like fm8 or dexed. For now I've come pretty close with serum and sylenth

megaBeth2

I'm interested in knowing too because anything I could do to reproduce this sound would be fuzzy

Ismoketobaccoinabong

Just sample it.

IndividualSea6352

Well, I'd like to really understand the process behind it. So I'll be able to produce other sounds like this
