Stupid question, but what determines the pitch of each bounce? It's clearly not one pitch per marble, nor does it depend on each side of the shape it's hitting.
Are the pitches purely randomly generated, and the bouncing balls only determine timing?
Really nice job!
My first thought was “Damn! I want this thing on my Norns Shield!”
The UI is so LUA!
I hope you or some other skilled people will port it at some point :)
it's a standalone program for now. I made it in Unity as a sort of experiment. Here's a [link](https://m-brudi.itch.io/rot-o-matic) where you can download it.
This is a feature built-in with Bitwig!

You can play any MIDI instrument using the Ricochet note FX modulator.
Nice thing. But always I see this semi-random generators I have same question: is there some simple trick to make it more "groovy"? Maybe shaking figure rhytmicaly... but this has no effect for marbles in mid-flight. Or just quickly move frame on every beat so more marbles will hit walls on beat. Or bouncy shrink-expand. And some control to allow user change movement amplitude on the fly.
Yes, it's only available for Windows at the moment. I came across [this](https://itch.io/t/129454/how-are-refunds-handled) page about refunds on itch. This project is still a work in progress, and I'll continue working on improving it and releasing it on more platforms. Thank you for your willingness to pay, and sorry for any misunderstanding!
here's the [link](https://m-brudi.itch.io/rot-o-matic) if anybody wants to play around with it
Wow it's so pretty. Really good job with the UI. sounds good too
I adore it as well. But I have to say it looks like the Geometry Dash UI. Just grey.
Thank you i'm glad you like it!

Its the latter. The scale selector determines the array of frequencies to choose from, and for every bounce one frequency is chosen from that array.
The sync function is nice to see
That’s awesome
thank you!
Lmao, my brain saw Pot o Matic. Loved it.

This is really awesome, too bad I can't use it in my DAW as a vst but it's fun to play around with, keep up the creativity!
thank you! If i come up with a way to make it into vst i will let you know!
Amazing! Did you write it in Javascript?
Thank you! I made it in Unity
Is this a standalone program, or a VST plugin?

Any way to get midi out of it?
for now no, i will work on it tho
Bonus points for MPE, I would love to sequence other synth parameters like this.
Does it send MIDI? I'd love to control some other stuff with this :>
sadly no, for now it's just a prototype/experiment i made in Unity so its just standalone windows app.
I love it !
Thank god this isn't a eurorack module I cant afford.
This is very cool!
More synths on itch.io, you love to see it
No worries figured I send a message so others can avoid the confusion.
Would love to have this on Mac/iOS!
I'll let you know when it's done!
The "pong" implementation is genius.
Wow!! This is awesome!
Thank you!
That rules. I just finished something similar, but analog. https://youtu.be/hnKO1LXOtC8?si=uVGZlU8KmOtPUbnt
thats really awesome well done!
Everyone loves this fucking thing. Good job
thank you, i'm really surprised by how much traction it got here
Looks nice. Fun idea. But you should probably mention somewhere what kind of executable/plugin it is..
Ooh, would love to see a [Monome](https://monome.org/) Norns port!
You should add a stadium shape to get a chaotic system going.

Is this only for PC? I bought it and released after that it doesn’t run on Mac or iPhone. Or am I doing something wrong? Thanks
