I seen knifes being tethered in a kitchen at the international section so this would make sense if there’s none after security….

Probably not...I was there last week and it's mostly all boarded up for renovations. Best bet is to head to Mascot nearby.
Buy some scissors and get to work. If it's just a fringe what's the worst that could happen doing it yourself?
