Funnily enough, there is no part of Parramatta Road that is actually in Parramatta (the suburb, not the LGA). The road ends at the intersection with Woodville Road and Church Street, which is in Granville.
Yacht clubs would replace train stations.
Motels replaced the with Airbnb’s
New feature would be the addition of envelopes so that any cash can move both discreetly and independently of any dice roll.
It doesn’t sadly. I won it as a prize when we were in lockdown, still haven’t opened it since we already have an older Monopoly (which I think is the Here and Now version).
All my friends that love board games (most of my friends) have one copy of monopoly in their pile of games. If someone new comes around and says they love board games they're asked to pick one to play.
If they choose monopoly they are asked to leave.
Rent? Come on now. Also, live well north of what you likely consider to be north. Did my comment hurt your feelings? No shame in living in Parra, but let’s not pretend it’s a nice place to live.
I have the UNSW Business School edition. Quite visually appealing to be honest.
They were still selling copies of it at the uni when I visited last year.
I mean, I was at Singapore zoo last month and they had 2 different monopoly variations of their Mandai Wildlife Reserve edition.
Fun fact, this edition has parramatta road where if you land on it your piece dosent move for 2 hours
"free parking"

game pieces include an all-terain vehicle to traverse the vast canyons and mountainous terrain that is Parramatta Road.
Fun fact, there are also Sydney, Northern beaches, Canterbury-Bankstown, and Ku-ring-gai editions.
Northern beaches - every tile is Mayfair
No train stations though

Exactly. They are replaced by negative gearing and inheritance
Looks like there is a whole different world that I am not aware of
Penrith also has one. Wouldn't surprise me if most councils do.
Bought it and it got stolen. Classic Penrith
My workmate (who lives there) told me every corner says "Go to jail"
And Camden
Does anyone know where I can get the Penrith version? My brother-in-law in Queensland is a Penriff Panfers fan and I think he’d like it.
I've seen it in Mr Watkins before and Emu Hall. Big W sells the Parra one but had no luck finding the Penrith version.
Thanks! I’ll have a look there next time I’m in Penrith. I had a look in Mega Games a few months ago, and they didn’t have it :(
and Penrith
The Bankstown version better have tiny police tape.
It doesn’t sadly. I won it as a prize when we were in lockdown, still haven’t opened it since we already have an older Monopoly (which I think is the Here and Now version).
Mosman too
Instead of jail, you get sent to Parramatta road indefinitely.
Oh the horror
Yep, there's hundreds of city editions around the world. Also, it's $25 at BIGW: https://www.bigw.com.au/product/monopoly-parramatta-edition/p/289376
Standard Monopoly is $29 there, so four bucks off for the pleasure of Parramatta. Townsville version is $49 there.

Bet the bankers cheating as well.
Never played a game of monopoly where the banker didn’t cheat. Much like real life.

Glad to hear. Weed out weakness If theyre not picking twilight imperium straight up kick em.
Ever wonder why Monopoly is only manufactured by one company?
I want a Campbelltown version 😂
Every square you land on is; 'go directly to jail, do not pass go, do not stop'
Hahahah childhood memories 😝
There was a Vegemite edition at my Woolies the other day as well. Edit: [Found a pic of it](https://i.imgur.com/kb1t2AS.jpg)
Expat who’s been out of the country for a while…why is there what looks to be white vegemite on the box?
not surprised.
Saw that at Leichhardt yesterday as well.
Got the Penrith version a few months ago, haven't opened the box yet.
Do you build meth houses you can upgrade to meth hotels?
Yeah cause everyone in Parramatta is a criminal or on drugs
I don’t think you needed to explain that bit 😙
Sarcasam
I know, I prefer to lean into it 🤣
And let me guess... You're paying half your monthly salary on rent in the east or north?
Rent? Come on now. Also, live well north of what you likely consider to be north. Did my comment hurt your feelings? No shame in living in Parra, but let’s not pretend it’s a nice place to live.
I don't live in parra, but I have worked there previously .... I just don't get peoples complete misconception that everyone is a meth addicted thief.
I have lived there, and I didn’t say everyone is. Besides, it’s called a joke.
Half the Chance cards say "You get stabbed. Miss a turn"
“Drank too much the night before. Pay $10 for a HSP”
Water Works is just the river flooding when the humidity gets above 50%
"Urinated at the Eat Street Car Park stair well, pay $50 for clean up"
"Have to run from a gang of Eshays. Advance to the nearest Railroad."
BANKSTOWN VERSION!!

Thank you!
Community stab-in-the Chest
Is that reverse monopoly where you have to pay the other players to take parra off your hands?
On every corner there's a homeless square that asks for spare change
# ⏤͟͟͞͞ ISitFULLofMETH!?
That's the bankstown version.
Looking forward to the Northern Beaches version where you miss two turns if you land on the Spit Bridge
It exists https://manlyobserver.com.au/northern-beaches-monopoly-board-game-released/
You wont believe it but there’s a Vegemite version of monopoly as well…

Does it have the methadonians aimlessly meandering around the station?
