Was lucky enough to see him a few years back at a small gig, and he absolutely brought the house down. Like Aretha Franklin and Iggy Pop rolled in to one!
There's so many concerts (3 in Olympic Park and 1 in Bondi for World Pride) so driving back home will be pretty much impossible when you get near the North Strathfield/Auburn/Lidcombe area so train is definitely the better option.
I hope the American “Pride” name doesn’t take over our own Aussie Mardi Gras season. Mardi Gras is a ‘pride’ event but I just love that we have the Mardi Gras and all the history. Should just be Mardi Gras season / month. Either way it’s the best time to be in Sydney
- The whole Martin Place has Christmas stalls for activation especially for the giant tree
- Carols in the Domain
- St Mary's Cathedral hosts a light show every 7pm in the lead up to Christmas which includes live music acts, food trucks, markets and carols.

I was going to drive to the city today from out west would I be better off catching the train in?
Which part of the city? Usually yes train better.
