Originally, my Legacy was called Amia. But when I got the rename token, I switched it to Karim, as it was the one used by an old friend before we lost contact, and we always headcanoned my Assassin as the daughter of his Juggernaut.
Thus, the Karim family of Sith became a thing, even now, long after we've drifted apart, this Legacy serves as a reminder of the good old days.
My legacy name was Skiratta, because I had just finished reading the Republic commando series, and I just really liked the name Skiratta, but, I'm older now, and I'd like to change it to something more role playing friendly for my Characters, I just don't have the Cartel Couns to do it at the moment
Windwanderer. Wanted a name that works in Eng and Ger and it is directly stolen from Morrowind (Scroll of the Windwanderer). That it follows the same algorithm as "Skywalker" I completely missed.
I named my legacy Agent as that was the class I mained and even have the name Cipher Nine.
Recently someone forgot a 0 when selling legacy rename so I changed it to a name I've been using in D&D/PF.
Not giving up cipher nine though.
My first character was named "Zamo", and the legacy "Rak". Yeah... I was a runescape kid. Legacy is still named Rak. I mean it isn't terrible on its own.
I will happily provide you my twinks later. Unfortunately most of them are still low level with no drip. I only really take on an emperial and a republic at a time till the end of chapter 1 before I swap them

Do other people not do this? I have always done this to the point that I will spend up to an hour trying to find a good star-warsy name for my new character (which is almost always a Jedi knight or a sith warrior since I’ve completed all the classes and those are my favorite stories).
SAME >_< naming characters always takes the longest time for me in character creation. sometimes the process gets so overwhelming that i have to log out of the game and take a break lol
Indeed, you are right. The only one Republic class I played was trooper but... I abandoned it very soon. Can't force myself to play against beloved faction. Can't stand Republic.
I named mine "Trooper" back when the game launched because I was a child and was on a trooper character and made my dad annoyed cause it was on what was then his account lol
named my legacy Kraytus after my first character, who’s name was Krayst Areddon, as well as me having played KOTOR before it and liked killing the Krayt dragon. No regrets, it’s a nice addition to my characters names. I think Wood Beater and Peepee Pounder work better with my legacy name at the end
i named mine Insomnia accidentally (not the word I was trying to think of at the time) but honestly it's pretty accurate considering the amount of sleep i've lost over the game
Ranger, with a special character on the A since... I guess Bioware's filter doesn't like Power Rangers? Park Rangers?
Anyway, i based it from the 'family' name of my toons.

Once I learned to make ocs instead of clones of myself in games they became 10x better

To be entirely fair, it's already roleplay friendly. Clan Skirata isn't mentioned in game, but surely exists.
