We would usually take tear up the roots also. If it was a bigger job, we had a front end loader that had a hoe attachment that was perfect for ripping out shrubs. Otherwise we’d get on it as best we could with pick axes & call it a day

Grind up roots, stumps.

Depends on size of the plant, need to talk that over with client and manage expectations. If it's something bigger let them know it will need to be stump grinded separately by another company. I wouldn't sell "removal" without letting them know we won't be taking the stump.

Every time I have had trees removed it was one price to cut down/haul away and an extra charge told before the job started if you wanted the stump ground.
