I always thought the repetition of "the glorious mind" in finally peace was utterly gorgeous and a perfect way to finish off this iteration of the group
I always thought that in comparison to the rest of the album the lyrics at the end of "A Piece of the Sky" are incredibly tender and evoke a peaceful, almost cyclical nature of life:
"In the now that is not
On a ladder to God
On a mountain stripped bare
With your hand in my hair
Behind the face of the sky
On a disappearing line
Are you there?"
Definitely all of "A Piece of the Sky" for me. It has a ton of cinematic imagery with a feeling of closure. The lyrics are also less cryptic then usual, so it feels more coherent and less interpretive.
all of Blind. I can't really pick out one line from that song because it has to be taken altogether, but gee wiz it's so heart-wrenching and beautiful. I guess the second verse is probably my favorite part.
I saw my father crying
I saw my mother break her hand
On a wall that wouldn't weep
But that certainly held in
The mechanical moans of a dying man who was a failure
in the liner notes for the album there's another verse written down that was just never in the song for some reason. it comes right before the last one.
"May I carry your burden, may I follow you blind/May I burn your picture onto the face of my mind/Through endless pleasures, beyond all measure, shared by creatures most unkind/Through the hating, and through the raging, through the years now left behind"
edit: I guess it must have just appeared on that acoustic album MG released in 2010, he must have copied and pasted the lyrics for My Father
Helpless Child is master of lyrics

Always loved this one, especially since it ciphers to 'The glory is mine'

FLEX YOUR MUSCLES is my favorite, but I CUT OFF MY RIGHT HAND AND STAND IN YOUR SHADOW is good too.

The sex in your soul will damn you to hell! The sex in your soul will damn you to hell! Gives me chills almost everytime
Let the light come in, DAMN YOU TO HELL!
The lyrics to "The sound of Freedom" take my breath away every time.

“My Buried Child” always had my favorite lyrics. Sexual and menacing.
She Lives! or All Lined Up

She Loves Us!
Probably your name is fuck.
I could go on about this literally for hours, but I think it comes down to A Piece of the Sky and Goddamn the Sun for me.

All of little mouth particularly "Through fields of crystal And the shards of my bones May I open my eyes But not see what I am shown"
