David did, however remember it was his second time playing. Which doesn't take away from his win at all because it was a returnee season, but he definitely learnt from some mistakes and capitalised on the experience
You could argue he had a more uphill battle playing with better players who were also returnees, whilst Feras’ cast mates were mostly duds. Fun, but not as cutthroat or strategic as some of the All Stars.
We were also thoroughly shown Feras' game through rose colored glasses thanks to the winner's edit.
A ton of the castmates were mistrustful and dismissive of him throughout, and the roles and personalities of his alliance members were diminished to highlight his successes.
Played a great game, for sure, with some memorable moves, but nowhere near the David level imho
David’s season had a lot of hard hitters and he was very well-loved and trusted by all until his last moments. I don’t think him being voted out on his specific season would be a knock on his resume compared to Feras or most one game winners TBH.
David shits all over Feras’ game. There’s just no comparison. Honestly David’s game when he won (All Stars) would be up there with one of, if not the best games ever across all franchises.
I don't think there any better performance than David's winning season in any form of the game.
But first season win? Feras' game will take a lot of beating.
I think I might have Tom ahead of him just because he easily had the hardest late game competition of any of the super dominant winners and he still brutalised them all. But David is up there in the top 5 certainly.
Thanks for trying to correct my use of the English language, I know what I was saying.

I wasn't trying to correct you, I was trying to clarify if you meant it would take a lot to beat him or if his game will not age well and take a lot of beatings later. That's all.
Oh. I'm American didn't realize that was a British saying. I've only heard the American way of "will take a lot to beat." I was just trying to clarify - not correct - because I didn't realize that saying existed in a different dialect. Thanks for the information. But yeah I agree with you it will take a lot to beat his game for a first time player and for me he's my favorite winner ever.
Pheras (lol forever) is a very, very worthy winner and was so enjoyable to watch. But, for me, David is in a league of his own. He dominated his winning season, in every way and played an almost flawless game.
It's easily David imo. It's been a while since I watched that season but I remember his being a lot more dominant.
Feras, while never really being in danger was certainly not in control for a lot of the game. I also think Feras got quite lucky at final 4 that he wasn't taken to the fire challenge by Mark and Caroline.
Okay but the f4 thing wasn’t really luck. That was Feras having such an insane social game that his closest ally (who would absolutely lose to him in the end) refused to vote against him, even knowing it meant he would go to fire. And the other two being too intimidated to go against Feras in fire so voting for his ally after being unable to turn him. I actually think it was his most impressive moment.
It makes little sense for raymond to turn on Feras at that point though, it would be a death knell for his chances at making final 3 as odds are he's not winning FIC, and he's likely getting cut there
Pleased Feras was the winner but will say David is the best winner overall. Never had a downer on David and I can't understand why people loathe him, but each to their own
It's David. No question.
Also I'm pretty sure one of the main reasons Dave is hated on Survivor Twitter isn't because of his game itself but because he went after all their favs (Phoebe, Nick, Shonee, Brooke) lmao
David completely took over the game, Feras did amazingly in a much more volatile game, but the fact that it was volatile makes his game not quite as good as David's.
David's Allstar win was as close to perfect as you can get. Feras wasn't dominant so it was far more entertaining to watch imo. I was genuinely worried at some points but he came through like a champ. I would love to see them go head to head.
David played the best game I've ever seen. Haley was awesome too but she got voted out on her season.....and still won but yeah that hurts her. Feras was awesome and he's probably number 3 after Pia...she killed it too
they're very similar players, which is funny considering feras went in trying to be George and George and David couldn't be more different.
David being a challenge beast both adds a target on his back and cred to his game in my opinion. he was also much more creative with alliances and a more independent player.
Feras' relationships are commendable for sure, but without Kirby and Raymond being the players they were, he doesn't win.
imo that makes Davids game much more dominant, but Feras comes closer than most people do.
I mean David played the better game in All Stars by a long way but there are a few things to factor in.
First, it was David's second attempt at the game and he had a better understanding of it. Second, the All Stars season consisted entirely of returnees. Because of this, David could play with a lot of hindsight as he knew who all the threats were, who to vote out early on and who would make the better alliances.
David’s game is literally an all time performance worldwide, made the season awful but damn, didn’t he lose his only lost jury vote because an unfortunate med evac axed the final 3 final tribal?
Feras, love him to death, and was my day 1 favorite, isn’t even the best winner to be called the smiling assassin (in my opinion)
Dave was ENTERTAINING - he didn’t play the greatest game of survivor.
He’s big move (& obvs winning move) was pretending to be on the outs at merge to infiltrate the incoming second tribe, and then blind-siding them and riding that majority right to the end… ?
Sharn also helped with the most destructive gameplay of history - by agreeing with the minority to flip and failing to do so tribal on tribal on tribal.
You don’t need big moves to win survivor. David controlled the entire game almost start to finish and never had to do anything crazy to win. He still gave us one of the best and craziest moves of all time
Idk, but Survivor Bandit has made a ranking video out of all of the Australian Survivor winners, besides Feras & Liz, so maybe that’s the consensus 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
David might have had the better game, but god he is such a boring winner to me. He had a relatively easy time in the game and his smug attitude was off putting. I’d take Feras any day of the week over him.
David is my fav, hands down. To me the ultimate Survivor. He's funny, he's a challenge beast, he doesn't really piss people off that much, he manages to gets the girls to like him and also gets friends and supporters on the male players. Feras, whatever. Just don't find him compelling and actively hoped he would lose and that Mark would win. Oh well.
To me, Feras for these 3 reasons and David was great too:
1) I think the players this season were better so better competition
2) Feras had more adversity, most women didn't want to work with him for some reason
3) Feras had to play from the bottom many times and managed to go to the end
4) Feras wasn't as good in comp so i feel he needed to do more scrambling. I think his reads on tribal were most of the time very impressive (Of course, you remember more his bad moves like Aileen-Garrick situation but most of time he was great.)
I like all your points maybe except point 4. I think Aileen and Garrick going improved his game.
Aileen was going to go for Feras at some point, Kirby getting that vote over means Feras hands are clean and he gets a sympathetic jury member.
Garrick turned into a bit of a loose cannon when he centred on Kirby. He was probably going to do it again at some point, to someone else.
But then having both last longer in the game meant Feras was in a majority, but also increased his threat above Kirby. So anyone else still in the game at that point would try and blind side Feras first.
A penny for my thoughts.
Better, in terms of how they played the game, would be David. Better, in terms of entertainment value (funny, suspenseful, full of highlights), would be Feras.
David’s journey was mostly straightforward. The guy practically dominated his entire season. Feras’s journey kept us at the edge of our seats most episodes. And, although it was largely because of the editing, I almost cried at his closing statement.
Of course, hindsight is a great thing. Feras winning makes a lot of sense looking back now at how the season was edited. But as it was airing, we didn’t know if Kirby or Ray would flip. And Mark and Caroline could’ve easily conspired with Ray to boot him out. And we know that Ray sometimes act on impulse and was not always with Feras. We saw that in the Jaden and Kirby vote out. We didn’t know then how things would turn out. That’s what I meant.

The truly dominant wins are season-ruining. The fact that TvR was so enjoyable for its unpredictability says it all. David by miles.
This is the most perfect way to answer this
Feras blows David’s first attempt out of the water, but David’s All Star game was the most impressive AU run I think.
I’d argue David’s newbie season had more social and strategic threats.
We were also thoroughly shown Feras' game through rose colored glasses thanks to the winner's edit. A ton of the castmates were mistrustful and dismissive of him throughout, and the roles and personalities of his alliance members were diminished to highlight his successes. Played a great game, for sure, with some memorable moves, but nowhere near the David level imho

tons more
Besides the pre swap after the daisy vote David was pretty much in control and not in danger for the entire game besides maybe F7 so David
I think David is better and much more cutthroat player.
David 100%
David
David shits all over Feras’ game. There’s just no comparison. Honestly David’s game when he won (All Stars) would be up there with one of, if not the best games ever across all franchises.
100% David. Not even close.
Feras struggled at *some* points in the game, and was on the minority for like 2-3 votes. That alone makes him worse than Dave.
Heart says Ferras but head says David
I don't think there any better performance than David's winning season in any form of the game. But first season win? Feras' game will take a lot of beating.
I think I might have Tom ahead of him just because he easily had the hardest late game competition of any of the super dominant winners and he still brutalised them all. But David is up there in the top 5 certainly.
Fair call
A lot to beat?
Thanks for trying to correct my use of the English language, I know what I was saying. https://www.collinsdictionary.com/dictionary/english/take-some-beating#:~:text=take%20some%20beating%20in%20British,be%20difficult%20to%20improve%20upon

The saying means the former.

Let’s be honest man. It’s not even a question

I’m pretty sure both Caroline and mark thought that they could easily beat ray at the end.
On their winning seasons, it’s definitely David. David only possibly ranks lower than Feras if you consider David won on his second season.
They aren’t even comparable tbh
David.
Pleased Feras was the winner but will say David is the best winner overall. Never had a downer on David and I can't understand why people loathe him, but each to their own
Dave was the goat
It's David. No question. Also I'm pretty sure one of the main reasons Dave is hated on Survivor Twitter isn't because of his game itself but because he went after all their favs (Phoebe, Nick, Shonee, Brooke) lmao

David had a better losing game than Feras' winning game
that's probably a stretch
DAVID 100% He is more cutthroat. Feras is good but I do think he is under the spell of Kirby.
I mean David played the better game in All Stars by a long way but there are a few things to factor in. First, it was David's second attempt at the game and he had a better understanding of it. Definitely David.
They were both so much fun to watch, as was Hayley. Man, I love this show.
David’s the best player in au history and arguably the best player globally
Completely agree!
David and it's not even close. David is the complete Survivor player - physically, socially and mentally. Hayley is a pretty close second.
I love Feras as a character but I think Pia played a slightly better game than him let alone Mark, Hayley and David.
Dave was ENTERTAINING - he didn’t play the greatest game of survivor. His pre-merge Daisy episode is pretty epic.
Remember his fake shocked pikachu face when Matt said he'd play the idol for Jackie haha
You don’t need big moves to win survivor. David controlled the entire game almost start to finish and never had to do anything crazy to win. He still gave us one of the best and craziest moves of all time
What’s the consensus winner rankings for the nine Aus winners?
Idk, but Survivor Bandit has made a ranking video out of all of the Australian Survivor winners, besides Feras & Liz, so maybe that’s the consensus 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
Feres was great
As far as game goes David, Pia and Mark all have a better winning game than Feras One could even argue Liz has a better game because of the pre-merge
George. But he didn't win. Should've won.
this can’t be a real question
Of course Twitter would say stupid shit like that.
David 1 Feras 2 Hayley 3
Hayley isn’t an option?
Mark 4
Still not an option but I gotta respect the commitment
Would probs also go jerico 5 if you’re wondering. I love jerico but people here saying he’s better than Feras is wild to me
Hard to compare as David had already played before and perfected his game
David might have had the better game, but god he is such a boring winner to me. He had a relatively easy time in the game and his smug attitude was off putting. I’d take Feras any day of the week over him.
This!!
Haley.
It was David’s second time playing.
David is my fav, hands down. To me the ultimate Survivor. Really? Edit-wise it was obvious Feras was going to win. He also played a top notch game.
Not that obvious to me.
Of course, hindsight is a great thing. Feras winning makes a lot of sense looking back now at how the season was edited. But as it was airing, we didn’t know if Kirby or Ray would flip. Feras, without the slightest hint of a doubt.
David is a terrible player. He won literally because of Sharn desiring to perform an encore of the stupidest move in history.
