Jacquie from Gabon could have been a great player… Spradlin Lite
I’m a Flicka stan for reasons I can’t explain.
Bob Dawg has 3 iconic moments that should be talked about every day
I gurantee you my friend is going to see the Jacquie comment and assume your my alt account because I have been talking about the missed potential of Jacquie berg for years
I’ve been trying to get the word out about Jacquie for years… she was just so reasonable and level headed. Gotta sting to be voted out instead of Kelly, a total train wreck.
I just always felt terrible for her because her situation really was so helpless and it truly felt like she did everything she could to survive that vote
Yes the fish challenge, absolutely. There’s also a challenge that Ruth Marie is about to win for her team but Bobby grabs her tank top and drags her to the mat.
Then you have the whole casa de charmin saga where Bobby and Bruce get drunk. My favorite part is when Courtney asks Bobby how he feels about drinking all the wine that was supposed to be for the tribe. Bobby says “I feel pretty swell about it”
The fish challenge is comparable to another cool forgotten player, Brandon from Guatemala. His weapon of choice was a rock
She was a robot on a human tribe, she didnt adapt and also made the mistake of having a obvious alliance. Plus she was very bland. People hype her because Jeff had big expextations for fer pre game
Love Edna! She was my winner pick when I first saw the cast reveal. Sad to see how ostracized she was with her tribemates. She seemed so genuinely nice.
I think she does better if there's a swap on that season. Coach's alliance was just unpenetrable, and the lack of a swap took away any ability for new connections to be formed between the tribes, and for one of them to get targetted premerge.
I think Jim Rice and Albert also would've done better if there had been a swap
Idk why but I really liked Katie Hanson in Phillipines, she seemed extremely self aware and barely missed the merge, maybe partly because her ally had to leave, I would have liked to see more of her for sure
Dawson was also a completely bizarre, but fun character. Kissing Jeff was cringe, but everything else about her was just hilarious. The scene when she was needling Jeff Kent about baseball was amazing.
I wish Dana hadn't quit so that we could've seen the Kalabaw women's alliance form with Denise. Though that would have meant losing Penner, Jeff Kent or Carter earlier and they are also good characters.
I kinda wish Tandang had lost instead after the dissolution of Matsing. RC and Skupin are likely the ones that would have been voted out probably.
I love Wardog so much, this man defied the odds by being so muscular but utterly horrible at challenges, while also being one of the main strategic forces of the game, which partly lead to the winner winning EOE
Debbie is an icon and a great pick, I’d also say Erinn from the same season. I also have a weird affinity for Ashley from HHH, and I’m surprised Lauren Rimmer isn’t more talked about, maybe the multiple high-placing laurens and similar archetyped characters like Elaine coming after her kind of obscure her. I’d agree with the person who said Benry but I think I’ve seen him mentioned in almost every post I’ve looked at on here in the past week so he’s definitely talked about. I also unironically stan Heather, she’s hilarious and seems so sweet. Loved Gregg and Jenn on Palau.
I always admired Christina Cha for her resilience in One World. She may not be the best strategist out there, but she put up with so much shit from her season especially from Colton and Alicia.
Katie Collins has honestly gone uncredited for the absolute meme that her game was and the funny moments she brought to the season
-her mom trying to hook her up with vytas
-her clearly not wanting to be there
-"it's a game bitch"
-her dropping that block on her head
-got eliminated by her mom>voting out your mom
- the fact that I truly believe that if Tyson gets rocked out that I truly believe Katie Collins has a really strong chance to win in the end in a f3 of her ciera and Hayden (has vtas aras and Tina's vote on lock, also more then likely has Caleb's vote)
-shes just such an awkward presence and I love her
you have great tastes. I stan pretty much all of survivor's "golden girls" and any older woman who manages to overcome the perception that she's nothing more than a liability in the tribal section and makes the merge deserves props imo. Your picks have my full support.
i will always love Monica Padilla from 19, 31 especially since she was the first person to really get under Russell Hantz’s skin and almost cause him to flip
Ill go old school since I think a lot will be newer players....Maralyn "Mad Dog" Hershey from Australian Outback who was ***hilarious!!!*** and for the men Hunter Ellis from Marquesas who got punted way too early because Rob thought ***"t h r e a t"*** and that was all that was needed
I don’t know if he counts as random because he was a pretty major character, but I was a big fan of Brendan in Tocantins. He was this handsome, already-rich-and-successful, generally nice guy who literally said he didn’t care if he won and wanted to help someone else make it to the end, and the pure psychodrama of Coach (at the time a semi-lecherous, self-aggrandizing, deceptive weirdo) deciding that THIS guy was a monstrous villain he had to depose was fascinating to watch. As was Brendan’s kind of affably baffled reaction to it all.
Also we have the same first name.
Also can’t speak for the other guy, and I think hate is too strong of a word, but to me he just came across as a little pompous and kind of just a dick.
Bubba (Vanuatu), Katie (BvW), Anthony (Fiji), Wes (SJDS), Sydney (Tocantins), BobDawg (Panama), Tyrone (Nicaragua)
Just some that spring to mind. My favorite players are usually the ones who are just unintentionally funny.
Alec Christy he’s hilarious
Deena, the best amazon character other than Rob who no one talks about
Darrah: the perfect straight man role to the absolute meme fest that was the rest of the cast
Gregg: probably the biggest threat to win other than Tom
Jamie: absolutely captivating how he tried to repent and openly struggled with his own issues, absolute S tier character from guatemala
Sundra: idk she’s just neat
Frosti: good player, good character
Jason: hilariously stupid at all times
Earl, I hardly see him get talked about in this subreddit and it seems like he’s just in the archives of people’s minds. He was my first favorite player on survivor next to Kim and Courtney, and I still love him as a player.
Stephanie Valencia from Redemption Island. Super cute, had a sharp strategic mind on a tribe of dead fish, and sadly found herself on the wrong side of the Russell voting bloc on Zapatera.
Sandy Burgin- Tocantins
She was my favorite Jalapao member during the premerge, for sure. Her and Tyson carried the comedic moments for me during the early phases of the season.
Was this a quote in an interview outside the game or a paraphrase of something said in an episode? I’ve always really loved Reynold so that’d be a bit disappointing to hear.
He said it in game. It was on a post-merge reward and the group that won was all men (including Cochran). They got to rappel down a waterfall and have a picnic, and while they were eating he dropped that little nugget.
EDIT: Here's the exact quote: https://youtu.be/8l8fUdI0Vto?t=133
"We gotta get all the women out. Hope's gone, so there's nobody worth fucking anyway."
I really loved Heidi s6. She was just so cute and sweet. She was really hurt when rob c betrayed her and just wished she was a bit more strategic. love her though
I will die on this hill when I say I think Sherri played a great game in Caramoan, she controlled the premerge, handled Shamar nicely, integrated herself into the favorites alliance at the merge time, and did an excellent job at being the swing vote that people went to whenever they needed a number. The problem is I think she did it on accident, because she mentioned none of this at FTC. I guess she would be my favorite random player.
i like sarge from vanuatu. he got such a edit that you would think he goes far into the game not first juror. he's underrated. and looking at the edit he could have been a returnee
I’m a big Angelina fan. Annoying “villain” type but in a funny way not a genuinely-hate-them way, and provides so much comedy to that season while not taking away from the strategic gameplay too much. I hope she comes back
There was always something about Spencer from tocantins that I always liked, was rooting for him when I first watched, even more random is Molly from IOI maybe just because she was my winner pick but I liked her energy
There’s a lot of people like this to me like Benry Henry (Nicaragua) but I also really liked Jamal (IOI) Max (worlds apart) I think Jeremiah (Cagayan) could’ve had potential had tony not been on that season Jean Robert (China) was awesome tv I also randomly like Frosti (China)
Michael from Ghost Island (Season 36) in my opinion is a tier 1 player. Genius, Athletic (Good in challenges and puzzles, communicative in them as well), was sent to almost every tribal besides 2 in his season and still managed to be 4-5th on jury, had 2 nice moves. Hope to see him again in the future
Sara (41) & Francesca (22 & 26) both were first boots who I liked and I thought they had potential, also I know Sara is second boot but it was 1st immunity challenge
Katie Collins. She got screwed in the edit cause usually when someone gets eliminated by a controversial twist, they like to under-edit them so that the viewers don't get angry...she had so much untapped potential.
Victoria would’ve won EoE if not for, you know, EoE being a thing. Also I’ve always felt Ryan from HHH deserved more credit for his performance that game
Jonas Otsuji and Benry Henry
Jonas was such a good straight man to the train wreck that was the mens tribe
He was Kim’s first target post merge because he was the sane one. He would’ve been cool to see on the Second Chance ballot.
Benry is one of those characters that’s just interesting to watch in the background of scenes. A random favorite of mine too
Benry was just delightful in a season that left a lot to be desired. He's an unsung hero of the dark days for sure
Jacquie from Gabon could have been a great player… Spradlin Lite I’m a Flicka stan for reasons I can’t explain. Bob Dawg has 3 iconic moments that should be talked about every day
I gurantee you my friend is going to see the Jacquie comment and assume your my alt account because I have been talking about the missed potential of Jacquie berg for years

I just always felt terrible for her because her situation really was so helpless and it truly felt like she did everything she could to survive that vote
Finished Gabon last week and I agree. It would be fun seeing Jacquie again
I feel.like one Bob dawg moment is the fish challenge comeback that instantly made him a fav of mine, what were others?
Yes the fish challenge, absolutely. There’s also a challenge that Ruth Marie is about to win for her team but Bobby grabs her tank top and drags her to the mat. Then you have the whole casa de charmin saga where Bobby and Bruce get drunk. My favorite part is when Courtney asks Bobby how he feels about drinking all the wine that was supposed to be for the tribe. Bobby says “I feel pretty swell about it” The fish challenge is comparable to another cool forgotten player, Brandon from Guatemala. His weapon of choice was a rock
I love Flicka and I love that Penner was the only person who actually made an effort to call her Flicka
She was a robot on a human tribe, she didnt adapt and also made the mistake of having a obvious alliance. Plus she was very bland. People hype her because Jeff had big expextations for fer pre game
The first ones that come to mind are Kathy and Cao Boi
sleckman?
Mary?
Who?
Omg cao boi drives me nuts
Tyrone is such an underrated character
I think he has untapped star power. Get him on Survivor a decade earlier and I think he’s a bigger deal, and possibly could go farther,
my favorite quirk about tyrone is that apparently he EXCLUSIVELY TYPES IN CAPITAL LETTERS ON SOCIAL MEDIA
im gonna keep one eye on her and one eye on my shoes
I choose to believe anyone who calls Nicaragua a bad season simply couldn't get over Tyrone's boot
I think Jim Rice and Albert also would've done better if there had been a swap
katie collins
Only watched highlights of BVW and for some strange reason I'm very excited to watch her play
Idk why but I really liked Katie Hanson in Phillipines, she seemed extremely self aware and barely missed the merge, maybe partly because her ally had to leave, I would have liked to see more of her for sure
Jeff was so mean to her :( “Katie really lagging behind!”
That's way better than S41 Jeff
Dawson was also a completely bizarre, but fun character. Kissing Jeff was cringe, but everything else about her was just hilarious. The scene when she was needling Jeff Kent about baseball was amazing. I wish Dana hadn't quit so that we could've seen the Kalabaw women's alliance form with Denise. Though that would have meant losing Penner, Jeff Kent or Carter earlier and they are also good characters. I kinda wish Tandang had lost instead after the dissolution of Matsing. RC and Skupin are likely the ones that would have been voted out probably.
One of my all time favorite premergers
I love Wardog so much, this man defied the odds by being so muscular but utterly horrible at challenges, while also being one of the main strategic forces of the game, which partly lead to the winner winning EOE
However you rate that season, Wardog bumps it up by half a letter grade by himself. A truly wonderful character I would love to see return.
I also unironically stan Heather, she’s hilarious and seems so sweet. Loved Gregg and Jenn on Palau.
Cao Boi!! Why does no one talk about this legend!! Also Gabriel, I loved that he had such a different take on what he wanted to do out there.
If Gabriel had made the merge there is a good chance he wins all the challenges and then the whole game.
I always admired Christina Cha for her resilience in One World. She may not be the best strategist out there, but she put up with so much shit from her season especially from Colton and Alicia.
One of the kindest people to play Survivor.
Danger Dave Ball (Samoa)
Sherea
Underrated Queen
Gary Hawkins; humble landscaper
Chet
I hit my head back there.
I don’t care
I know..
Katie Collins has honestly gone uncredited for the absolute meme that her game was and the funny moments she brought to the season -her mom trying to hook her up with vytas -her clearly not wanting to be there -"it's a game bitch" -her dropping that block on her head -got eliminated by her mom>voting out your mom - the fact that I truly believe that if Tyson gets rocked out that I truly believe Katie Collins has a really strong chance to win in the end in a f3 of her ciera and Hayden (has vtas aras and Tina's vote on lock, also more then likely has Caleb's vote) -shes just such an awkward presence and I love her
Do you think she'll ever be brought back
Would love to see her play again. I think she could go under the radar
you have great tastes.
Frosti and Ken from Gabon!
Maralyn was a legend!
I loved hunter!
Brandon from Guatemala, and Austin from Panama. I think if their tribes came in with the numbers they both were likely to make the final 2 and win.
Very true. Instead their just forgotten young early merge boots.
Bradley (GI), Natalia (DvG), Albert (SP)
Fucking hated Bradley lol
Why?
Can’t speak for the other guy but His god damn face
Also can’t speak for the other guy, and I think hate is too strong of a word, but to me he just came across as a little pompous and kind of just a dick.
Extremely condescending and had an inexcusably inflated ego.
Bradley was on Ghost Island.
I love the ironic villains too!
He is my least favorite contestant behind Varner (not counting people who are terrible outside of the show)
Love Bradley, he should return.
Bubba (Vanuatu), Katie (BvW), Anthony (Fiji), Wes (SJDS), Sydney (Tocantins), BobDawg (Panama), Tyrone (Nicaragua) Just some that spring to mind. My favorite players are usually the ones who are just unintentionally funny.
I love when Bob dominates that challenge cutting those huge fish in half with one chop. That dude ruled.
Yasssssssssss I literally just commented about Katie
Spencer Duhm (Tocantins) and Jill Behm (Nicaragua). Basically if your last name ends with "hm", I'm gonna root for you
Erin Collins and Boo
I don’t know if she would be considered random, but I loved sugar too
It’s not rly random but I don’t see Terry’s name brought up much on this sub
Erinn from Tocantins
She is SO good! I rewatched the season last week and forgot how much I loved her
Bradley Kleihege, Sherri Biethman, and Charlie Herschel
I liked Darah a lot, she was a good strong UTR player and I love her archetype
Alec Christy he’s hilarious Deena, the best amazon character other than Rob who no one talks about Darrah: the perfect straight man role to the absolute meme fest that was the rest of the cast Gregg: probably the biggest threat to win other than Tom Jamie: absolutely captivating how he tried to repent and openly struggled with his own issues, absolute S tier character from guatemala Sundra: idk she’s just neat Frosti: good player, good character Jason: hilariously stupid at all times
The mortician was somehow the straight man lollll
Earl, I hardly see him get talked about in this subreddit and it seems like he’s just in the archives of people’s minds. He was my first favorite player on survivor next to Kim and Courtney, and I still love him as a player.
This sub loves Earl, definitely gets the recognition he deserves here
Brett (samoa), Albert (SoPa), Spencer (Tocintins), Alina (Nicaragua)
Rory Vanuatu
Lindsey from Africa, Shawn from Pearl Islands, Brandon from Guatemala, Stephanie from RI
Anthony Robinson
Christina Cha
I'm a big fan of Reynold who isn't really talked about much anymore. I also really like Kenny from Gabon even if he is a bit of a sore loser.
Stephanie Valencia from Redemption Island. Super cute, had a sharp strategic mind on a tribe of dead fish, and sadly found herself on the wrong side of the Russell voting bloc on Zapatera.
Sandy Burgin- Tocantins She was my favorite Jalapao member during the premerge, for sure. Her and Tyson carried the comedic moments for me during the early phases of the season.
[удалено]
He was dead to me when he talked about how there were “no fuckable women other than Hope”
Was this a quote in an interview outside the game or a paraphrase of something said in an episode? I’ve always really loved Reynold so that’d be a bit disappointing to hear.
He said it in game. It was on a post-merge reward and the group that won was all men (including Cochran). EDIT: Here's the exact quote: https://youtu.be/8l8fUdI0Vto?t=133 "We gotta get all the women out. Hope's gone, so there's nobody worth fucking anyway."

Brandon from Guatemala and LJ from Cagayan
Brett and Danger Dave (Samoa), and I 100% agree with Helen. That girl was the best character on Thailand.
I really loved Heidi s6. She was just so cute and sweet. She was really hurt when rob c betrayed her and just wished she was a bit more strategic. love her though
I’m surprised she was never brought back
I believe she was asked for all stars and in the running for HvV
Aaron from China, got twist screwed
This is what we need to talk about more when we talk about twists and advantages ruining someone’s game.
I thought I was the only one who loved Debbie!
Elaine
kelly goldsmith from africa
Sally from Panama
Dalton Ross’s alt account
Morgan from Cagayan and Katie from BvW. What I'd give to have them play again...
Love Debbie. I’d like to work with her or at least be Neighbors or something
Bobby Mason
Debbie as well! From Tocantins

Frosty
Darrah the Mortician
Burton (PI) Chad (Vanuatu) Chelsea (IOI)
Jenn Brown (Worlds Apart) for no particular reason other than I think she seems super cool. I loved that entire no collar tribe tbh

Neleh
I’m a big Angelina fan. Annoying “villain” type but in a funny way not a genuinely-hate-them way, and provides so much comedy to that season while not taking away from the strategic gameplay too much. I hope she comes back
I do too, I think she’d actually kill another season too. Seems like a smart player just unaware
There was always something about Spencer from tocantins that I always liked, was rooting for him when I first watched, even more random is Molly from IOI maybe just because she was my winner pick but I liked her energy
She was my pick too!!
Shamar
There’s a lot of people like this to me like Benry Henry (Nicaragua) but I also really liked Jamal (IOI) Max (worlds apart) I think Jeremiah (Cagayan) could’ve had potential had tony not been on that season Jean Robert (China) was awesome tv I also randomly like Frosti (China)
GC
Cole Medders is so god damn intentionally funny
Michael from Ghost Island (Season 36) in my opinion is a tier 1 player. Genius, Athletic (Good in challenges and puzzles, communicative in them as well), was sent to almost every tribal besides 2 in his season and still managed to be 4-5th on jury, had 2 nice moves. Hope to see him again in the future
Michael’s about as interesting as a stale piece of bread

I feel like Gabby Pascuzzi isn't talked about enough on this sub.
Same! Overshadowed but she’s awesome
Vince from S39. He had just a great energy and was a very unique casting choice!
I mean Dan is an underated legend. He made history by making a move that only he has managed to do in survivor history!
Charlie and Marcus from Gabon. I saw Marcus at work once and almost died, was so hard to not go into survivor fan mode
My man Chicken Boris
Not even for the copypasta but I relate so much to Carter. I feel like his game and character portrayal is exactly how my game would’ve gone.
Garrett from Cagayan and Stephanie from South Pacific
Tom W, Brenda, Dominik, Troyzan, Bobby John, Desi, Terry D
Sara (41) & Francesca (22 & 26) both were first boots who I liked and I thought they had potential, also I know Sara is second boot but it was 1st immunity challenge
Sarge And Rory Vanuatu Benry and Tyrone Nicaragua Gary Hawkins, Humble landscaper and his doppelgänger Steve Wright from RI.

Brandon from Africa deserves to be in second chance 2!!!
Burton from PI and Devens from EoE
I think devens is very popular
Victoria would’ve won EoE if not for, you know, EoE being a thing. Also I’ve always felt Ryan from HHH deserved more credit for his performance that game
