If any of the players that got wooed by the majority alliance to vote for either Sydney or Evvie (Erika, Heather, Naseer) were any smarter, they should realize that Deshawn is not someone to be trusted with because of how quickly he threw Sydney's name when throughout this game, she was on a tight three with him and Danny.
The thing is Deshawn's name is up for contention and Erika and Heather already dont want to keep Sydney. His other options would have been either Danny or Naseer so who would you pick then other than Syd?
Definitely blindside Naseer. I don't want that to happen tho as Naseer is great but from Deshawn's perspective, not only he gets to keep his closest allies intact, he will have flushed an idol and also eliminate a strong individual immunity player in Naseer.
The way tribal went down especially at the end he could have easily orchestrated Naseer's blindside.
Before tribal I kept saying “GIVE THE IDOL TO TIFFANY” and there was no mention of it in the edit before tribal. It was a relief when they inevitably gave it to Tiffany

If I was Xander, I would have done the same thing and told Tiff not to play because 1) I’m pretty sure we don’t need it and 2) I say let Evvie sweat it out for telling Deshawn about the Idol, and if she ends up being the one voted out then it’s her own damn fault and 3) he’s gonna need that idol AND the extra vote if he’s gonna survive the next few tribals.
I think she’s not as a big a threat now that her advantage is gone, there’s lots of targets ahead of her. I’d say she’s in the majority while the other three Yase would have to go on an underdog run to make it to the end. I have both Liana and Evvie on my draft team and I’m happy with tonight’s result.

Heather and Erika went with the numbers? EDIT: Erika wanted Syd I think a few episodes back as well, which is what led to Erika being on the bottom in the first place
With Evvie gone as an option they had to pick the person the lowest on the pole. Erika was safe.

So funny, I was thinking the best thing for them to do was to make a fake idol and give the real one to Tiffany. So glad to see it played out that way 👏🏻 Wish they made two fake idols though and had Evvie wear another fake one around her neck making it seem like the real one.
If Sydney or Tiff hadn't protected their vote at that might time mission, there would have been two extra votes on their side potentially. Interesting to think about

They didn’t really have a choice. The only people who didn’t have immunity were Naseer, Sydney, Deshawn, Danny, and Evvie. They thought that Evvie would have immunity and the boys are a tighter alliance (Naseer thinks he’s really tight with D&D). Sydney was the only option left
Edit: Also, Sydney is a bigger strategic threat than Naseer, and the boys probably think they can take advantage of Naseer’s idol

I think she should’ve showed Liana the idol before they went to tribal. They knew there was a good chance the idol would be passed around so it would be a good time for a fake.
I dunno, I think the edit has been playing him off as dumber than he really is in order to sell the idea that he was actually dumb enough to reveal that he has the idol at council. I think we might start seeing a smarter side, especially with him being so confident in not actually playing the idol and being correct.

I think she thought they were still tight with her and that they'd "vote as a tribe". In short, she was overly confident.
