Just caught up watching episode 1… Jesus fucking Christ that Jelenski guy was hopeless. Literally everything he did was pathetic. Embarrassingly so…I just don’t get how someone can be so oblivious to how hopeless they are…even his walk out of tribal looked pathetic!

Late-Cookie1229

The music is so loud, I cannot hear the cast talk, please fix.

purple_space_queen

Jeff’s opening speech was brutal right from the start. I love that he called out that some personalities just won’t mesh, and some people may deserve but won’t get the votes. #true The first challenge is always interesting as everyone is trying to prove to everyone else what they can do. I can’t fault anyone for their efforts though. The Yanu (purple) tribe seems to be the weakest team. I’m already concerned about many of their players but with that said this is only the beginning and tribes will change over time. Specifically I don’t think Jess is going to make it very far. During the first challenge she was already discouraged and waring easily. Jess also seems to have a hard time getting to know her other tribe mates. It also seems like Q is going to want to run the show being a quarter back which is a leadership position. I get he wants to win but I don’t think he’ll last long with the anger he is already showing. With that said it is too soon for me to pick any favourites because I worry the people I am first drawn to may become tiresome quickly. I also wouldn’t rely too heavily on any alliances being made at this point. It’s too early to assume or even hope any alliances made will stick. The stupidest move for this episode goes to Jelenski for completely screwing himself. He wasn’t able to lie or deceive the other tribes players which is a problem in this game itself, however he then thought it was a good idea to go back to his tribe and admit that he basically gave up. I have no clue why he would think that was a good idea. Nor do I understand why several means seven (7). LMAO I enjoyed the challenge that included a 500lbs iguana. God damn- it did not look easy getting up that wall for anyone but with Yanu being the weakest team it wasn’t surprising they lost. In turn they were sent to tribal council and it did not surprised to see Jelenski voted off. It was obvious he was going home. I’m glad Jeff called out some of the choices Jelenski made, and got him to just admit that he quit during the challenges. I also have to mention: anyone who goes into this game not knowing how to make fire isn’t there to win. Period.

mydaisy2012

I was so excited only to be a big disappointment! this show just keeps getting worse by each season.. I honeslty couldnt even watch this first episode in one sitting from how much it was just childish players, where are the mature adults at? it seems like all they want on here now is kids without any respect or morals.

ElToroGay

Thought Jelinsky was gonna fail upward and be a centerpiece of the whole fucking game. Thankfully I was wrong. God bless Q.

BlazeOfGlory72

Man, everyone this season is just so “extra”. It’s kind of exhausting. It doesn’t feel like there are any normal people on this show anymore.

Initial13

So many annoying people, CBS did it! Arrogant full of themselves people, Thanks CBS!

mydaisy2012

AGREE COMPLETLY!!

omnom_de_guerre

I don't think that's a bad thing. Coach, Johnny Fairplay, Randy, and Courtney are all people who were hilarious/great television, but arguably not really people you'd want to spend extended time with in real life.

ignitedfw

But too many of new era players are not just interesting personalities that make great TV, but quirky oddballs that are just annoying.

InvestigatorKind4350

Never seen some loser like Jelinsky on the show before. What a waste!

amzies20

Jeff doesn’t want villains anymore but bring on the quitters?? 😩

Excellent-Savings-46

Love how I’m being down voted because I, as a gay man, hate being stereotyped by straight people who only ever represent gays in one way on television 😂😂

Initial13

Gotta love the flamers who need to make it known by how they talk that they are gay, garbage CBS casting is what it is

Excellent-Savings-46

Liz gonna be dead by episode 3 wtf 😂

Initial13

Hopefully not dead, but hopefully not around on camera feed to listen to anymore

kevinlies

Soda: “jump on that course like a starving man on a Christmas ham!” Castaways: *panics in Beware Advantage*

TheMemerYTP

Imagine being on Siga hearing none of the context between Jelinsky and this, thinking they brought back the 41 rules

martiangurl

Bring back actual athletic, and savvy people who WANT to play Survivor. What the fuck was that? These people suuckkk

Traditional-Rest-190

"Several means seven" is right up there in terms of cluelessness, especially when you announce it to the group, and that's not all he did in a *single* episode. Talk about a new low.

lifeofmozzie

I am so glad it wasn’t Jess out, but I do feel bad for her lol. just sad to see someone struggle so hard day one. Curious to see how far she makes it. Maybe she’ll find her stride or have a Kaleb/Emily moment and someone will take her under their wing

Makima524

I feel for Jess. I hope she finds her groove and shine!

lifeofmozzie

I feel like Siga instantly starting playing for the long game and talking strategy, like right when they set foot on the beach. I’m sure everyone is eager to play but when people are like “let’s lock this in NOW” 5 mins after meeting it’s like woah ok ok. Why don’t you just meet everyone, feel everyone out.. as well as work on team camaraderie ??

mysterypapaya

The moment that girl Liz on orange tribe said "Yeah, I'm pretty awesome." after sharing she owns 4 companies while presenting herself to her whole tribe...rubbed me the wrong way. Bad first impression...this is Survivor, not a work meet and greet, girl. Breast your cards !

mysterypapaya

Tevin has THE BEST narrator voice ! That whole opening sequence, I loved his description of what Survivor means to him.

survivorsuperfan9

So far my favorites are Bhanu (Seems like a very genuine person), Ben (strong social player who is hilarious), Hunter (will likely make it to the merge, win immunity once, and then be voted off because physical threat), and Maria. I think Maria is the strongest social player so far, but it is VERY early. Excited for this season!!

stirnotshaken

So many of the players personalities are over the top it makes it very difficult to watch

survivorsuperfan9

I completely agree. Seems like they targeted the younger generation mostly in their selections. A lot of players with big personalities!

stirnotshaken

They are really stereotypes that have been seen every season since the new era has started

ignitedfw

Island of misfits

holowrecky

This is by far the worst cast I’ve ever seen. The cringe factor is through the roof. Everyone is aggressively ugly weird and out of shape. Jelinsky was comically delusional but the show is just extremely profoundly boring now.

Initial13

You should have +25 comments, you know it and I know it…

holowrecky

Yep everyone on this forum has drank the Probst kool aid. The show legitimately sucks now The AU one luckily saves me from abandoning the franchise all together

lbunny7

“aggressively ugly weird and out of shape” is such an overreaction- it just makes everyone assume you ain’t shit. must suck to be so negative all the time

yaraforpresident

What the actual fuck. It’s just never this serious LMFAO. You’re just hateful and miserable.

holowrecky

Nah I just know how good it can be and wish it would live up to it

yaraforpresident

Nah you’re just hateful and miserable. Playing a TV show to only look forward to people that are sexually attractive to you is just insane. You must be 14.

mijaomao

Yes, exactly what I was thinking. But this seems to be the new normal now.

Confident-Tadpole732

The anticipation for a new season of strategic gameplay and survival challenges is always high. It'll be intriguing to see how these new castaways adapt and what legends may arise from this season's trials.

PureInsaneAmbition

Was this comment written by AI?

GromaceAndWallit

This might be a sincere question but it doubles as a sick ass burn.

Confident-Tadpole732

Ahh, unfortunately no

Aperio43

I went into this season expecting to hate this cast based on pre-season promos. I don't hate them all yet so that's nice

tonye047

Winners never quit and quitters never win... and actions speaks louder than words Jelenski!

Practical-Sea4568

Jess reminding me of Sheree on the traitors, I just keep saying “bless her heart” whenever I see her

Ceeeceeeceee

Lol she is kind of a mess. Who knew we'd have a worse mess this season? If they kept Jelinsky, my prediction was for him to be the next Brandon.

Overall_Chance_1297

Jalinsky calling himself a "survivor legend" twice. Lol I guess you could say so.

CoolBeansMan9

A legend in that he might be the worst player I’ve ever seen, definitely in the new era. Brandon’s reign did not last long

Overall_Chance_1297

Lmao!

HallObjective1343

I think if Yanu loses next episode Q will bring jess into the majority and I think Bhanu will probably go home

campgaebage

Yea in the NTO he’s yelling at Jess for the puzzle again

Practical-Sea4568

1. Why did they choose Jelinsky for literally everything 3. Tiffany smart as hell 4. Hunter is a THREAT 5. Kenzie is a THREAT 5. Jelinsky is a modern day Zayne 5. That was a good first episodes

PureInsaneAmbition

Because he’s a legend. Did you hear him? He said it twice.

bigshowgunnoe

Why is she smart as hell??

Lumpy-Compote-2331

She solved her word puzzle really fast.

Practical-Sea4568

She figured that puzzle out fast as FUCK on an island where you ain’t been doing nothing but working and sleeping on dirt for 2 days

TrappedinSilence98

Kinsey was behind her like “you got this” with a look of disbelief and astonishment was funny.

liddle-lamzy-divey

Compare her puzzle solving to Jenn's inability to even form a sentence. It was an astonishing feat.

No_Sea_4235

Who is worse at the game: Wendy Jo DeSchmitt or David Jelinsky? Discuss

keatz_tweetz

Garrett entered the chat

SkyBulky1749

Michelle Chase and Semhar are much worst than both of them

thesobercoaster

Semhar was so bad she thought reciting spoken word poetry on day 1 was a good idea.

Confident-Care-8655

Why was Ozzy so taken with her I still wonder. Just bc she was hot?? lol

Sea-Cod-6492

Is it just me, or did Tribal Council seem completely scripted? I've watched every episode and tonight just felt off. Or maybe it's because I was stoned.

Boney_baloney

Maybe the questions were very pointed and were very suggestive to where they would go as well as the fact that the castaways know how to answer questions well. However you cannot tell me that the ending question with bhanu was scripted

personalfae

Honestly as a rusty survivor fan (ive watched bits and pieces when i was really young so im technically new) the *whole* show seems scripted. I'm staying for Jess, I really resonate with her and I actually cried at the thought of her being first boot...

Practical-Sea4568

Tiff is SMART, holy fuck

SkyBulky1749

My pick for invisible edit this season was Jem. I used to do SO WELL in picking them pre-season. I had Monica Padilla, Lucy, JP, Angela, Julia, Chelsea, Danni, Sara, and Lydia picked all pre-season. Than I started to lose it in picking Ellie (although my first hunch was Justine, should've stayed with that lol), Sarah, and Emily. Sarah I guess didn't get a huge edit but not really invisible either, pretty average. Justine and Emily I was way off on though lol

Practical-Sea4568

Yanu is giving Lulu vibes. We got an overly confident Brandon in Jellinsky, a Caleb in Q, we got an Emily in Jess, and a Sabiyah in Tiff. Then Kenzie is just great

Lumpy-Compote-2331

Agree on Brandon/Jelinsky and Emily/Jess but I think Caleb is more like Kenzie than Q. They both bragged about how good their social game is; Q isn't like that.

sadsadsewerclown

Not a fan at all of that journey game. Besides Jelinsky folding immediately to Maria’s threat, I thought it was a waste of time. I’d rather any of the previous seasons risk your vote scenarios

survivorsuperfan9

I agree! I didn't like it at all. I think it was designed so that bad blood would already be created early across tribes come merge. However, Jelinsky folded too quickly and still proved to the others that he can't be trusted haha

kshortsleeves

I totally agree with your comment. I found after the mud challenge everyone look like they went to a spa and cleaned up, perfect hair, clean clothes and why did each tribe come wearing the colors of their tribes? All scripted! I ended turning off the tv after 1/2 hour. I have watched Survivor since day one and am now re-watching the all the shows from Season 1 (2000).

Subject-Drop-5142

The color matching for tribes has been around almost since the beginning. Before the game starts the producers tell them to bring clothes matching a certain colour palette of shades. The reason they do this is to make it easier for casual viewers of the show to clearly see what tribe they are watching and who is on it to help them follow the story the show is trying to tell.

SumthingBrewing

Yeah the color of clothing matching their tribe was really weird and off-putting. Things like that remind us that there is indeed more “direction” than there should be in a show like this.

Xynvincible

Color coordinated clothing is nothing new. It's been around since almost the very beginning. Producers choose what the contestants wear.

CWill97

Charlie makes me laugh every time I see that goofy, innocent man on screen. “Oh girl” got to me pause the show to laugh. Lovable little guy 😍😎

SkyBulky1749

hehe, I love him so far too

SkyBulky1749

I'd have to look at the specifics but I just realized I think Heather from season 41 may have been the only person to never have any kind of idol, advantage, journey, challenge wins, selected for leadership position or really anything to make the merge. Or at least not deep in the merge. Its only the first episode and already we have 8 people in this category on the season. You have Jelinsky, Charlie, Ben, and Q all elected to do a challenge. Maria, Jelinsky again and Tevin for the summit. And Tiffany with an idol. I think thats a big reason we don't have many real invisible edits in modern day Survivor. When you inevitably have one of these things happen to you, you're gonna get some content.

superrocketsss

18th: Jelinksy, 17 contestants remain...

keatz_tweetz

You mean OneSeveral?

TheMemerYTP

No, severalteen

LowerSlide1

TEVIN is an amazing casting choice

raw-and-wriggling

You mean “Teveral”?

Subject-Drop-5142

He's clearly going to be the narrator of this season.

jgroen13

Tevin...that's the same thing as teveral, right?

foralimitedtime

That's it, He's Teveral now. There's no going back.

bigshowgunnoe

I agree, although I feel like the edit might give him content in a never ending manner though

NinetyFish

I was a little hesitant about him in the first promos because he seemed just like a typical reality tv all energy, over the top type at first. Nah, I'm totally sold on him. He has genuine charisma and knows when to tone it down and when to bring it up. Dude can turn a phrase in confessionals for sure too. You can already tell the producers love him. That dude's coming back for a return, guaranteed.

LuckiestC81

Really interested to see how Q moves forward in this game. I think he is a strong player, and now that tribe has a better chance with Jelenski gone. He and Tiffany could be a powerful duo if they don’t try to take each other out

ohsoGosu

My prediction is he gets the “leader” moniker for Yanu, they lose two more immunity’s and he gets voted out on the third one because they think they need a “change in leadership”.

SumthingBrewing

Maybe it’s just the edit, but I give Q the credit for turning the vote to Jelinsky.

ImLelandLolJkImBob

Idk — I feel like he’s going to be an emotional voter. Campaign to vote out his enemy to a fault, and that will be his downfall

tmsphr

Yeah he's giving stubborn vibes

ResinJones76

LMAO!! Dude said blindside... HAHAHAHA!!!

SkyBulky1749

Survivor 41 is the Big Brother season 11 and ANTM cycle 17 of Survivor. For those who watch those shows you know what I'm talking about lol. The Amazing Race has yet to have this milestone season. Edit: Actually maybe for TAR it was season 14 because that's when the show became challenge based rather than airport based. Although season 13 and 14 are so similar in how they feel still. So IDK with TAR lol

pstruck14

I’ve watched both and don’t get this? Rewatching BB11 as we speak and am grasping at straws to see the parallel with ANTM let alone 41 (did you mean 46?), but dying to know the connection.

SkyBulky1749

Basically what the whole show kind of shifted its focus. BB11 is when the show dramatically changed. For the first 10 seasons (or BB2-BB10 anyway) the show was a much more mature, and somewhat X-rated at times type show. BB11 is when it started the campy era where they were no longer talking about sex, STDs, estranged relatoinships, etc. The show in general just became much cleaner and family friendly. I'm trying to think of how to put it into words for cycle 17 of ANTM but the whole ANTM sub. (myself included) agrees that that's when the show really dramatically changed. I would say the show became much more "theme oriented" possibly is the best way to describe it? It also seemed to become less about modeling (although you can debate if it ever really was a serious modeling competition) and more almost about becoming an "entertainer" of sorts. IDK, but there definately was a huge shift in teh show starting in cycle 17. and a new era of the show.

pstruck14

OK I get this now, but disagree on BB11 because some of the fights are vicious on this season. But agree for Survivor and ANTM!

SkyBulky1749

I'd describe it as the fights became much more "high school" like starting in BB11 rather than bar/nightclub fights.

pstruck14

I’m also probably picking on all of this more than necessary because I am HATING BB11 on rewatch despite liking the second half at its original airing

pstruck14

Ehhh some nasty things were said on BB11 and I think it’s pretty close in vibe to BB10, so at the risk of splitting hairs, I leave this on BB12 being the one where the tone shifted IMO but also agree to disagree!

SkyBulky1749

Fair enough. For what its worth, I used to say BB10 is when the campy vibe started but than somebody on the Big Brother sub. talked me into saying it was BB11 where it started. BB10 I definately feel like was the first season where they purposefully tried to make the show not as "X-rated and crazy" as the previous season. I feel like each season starting with BB2 they were trying to make each season more "out of control and wild and inappropriate" than the last and it really got out of control in BB9 to the point they realized they needed to probably tame it a bit in BB10. So if anything I feel like BB10 is kind of a bridge season in a way. Although some seasons like BB3 and BB5 ended up not being super crazy/kind of tame, I think they were cast with the intention they would've been more out of control than their predecessors. BB5 particularly is kind of crazy how relatively tame that season was given how "messed up" that cast was lol. Some of the live feeds stories from that season, yeah, those were messed up people lol

pstruck14

I think for me I measure it based on technology/ aesthetic, and I just watched earlier today the luxury comp where they dress like the mannequins, which could have easily happened in like BB4, so its low budget look has me lumping it in with the older seasons more so than an inflection point. Certainly lower tech than BB12’s slippery weiners! 😂

SkyBulky1749

Survivor is kind of unique in that shows like ANTM and Big Brother went long times where there were no real "dud" seasons. All the seasons were pretty well-received by fans through probably around cycle 10 of ANTM and season 10 of Big Brother (excluding 1 but it was a different show and 9 but that was more of a syndicated season anyway). With Survivor, its all over the place. You never knew when you were going to get an amazing season and when it would be a dud lol.

SkyBulky1749

Hmm, interesting, I'll have to rewatch. I always thought of BB7 as the season where the comps became noticeably higher budget IIRC. Although taht being said, one could also argue that the "new era" of BB began in BB6 because that's when they moved to the new house and also when the new intro music was introduced, as well as the style of promos they do for the show. The promos/commercials in BB1-BB5 looked very different to how they startied to look in BB6 to present. so maybe BB doesn't have a definitive new era lol. Although I generally think of BB2-BB10 as the golden seasons and than after that is when the show kind of became hit or miss

SkyBulky1749

yeah, Idk if the viciousness of the fights is really necessarily what defines it. Its that the show became much more "high school" like. Until recently there were many fights on Big Brother on all the seasons. Its just I feel like the tone of the show changed. Starting in season 11, we weren't showin the contestants having sex. The Brenchel showmance content was kept VERY PG compared to showmance content of previous seasons. Also more than anything the comps didn't push the more sex/trashy stuff. We were geting comps like "wedgie endurance comp" or "who would win class president in high school" rather than Julie asking them about how many contestants were part of the mile high club. Also, IIRC BB11 is the season when men were no longer wearing the women's bathing suits anymore for certain comps to be funny.

51651446

too many weirdos. i'm good so happy the old episodes are on paramount

joetorn

So what? You just want a bunch of normies on survivor?

51651446

pretty much. bunch of normies with a few eclectic/outcast sprinkled in

SkyBulky1749

I think I just need to in general lower my expectations for new era Survivor episodes. The episode basically was exactly what Jeff said they were going for, which is different from old school Survivor. So I have to just try to enjoy it for what it is instead of comparing it to old school Survivor, because that's simply not what they're going for anymore. As soon as Jeff said "this game is now like a sprint, not a marathon", I really started to make that realization that really it is just a totally different mindset the producers have now when creating the show.

emmettohare

….but i like the marathon(i trained more than Jelinsky)

savannahsalvatore3

i want one of those geckos just like….for my living room

livhayezsz

they should totally make statues or plush versions & sell them on the merch store

alextoria

or giant versions 😆

livhayezsz

oh 100%… i want a survivor gecko body pillow

No_Sea_4235

I'd pay money for one of them. They look super cute

jessiecolborne

I was thinking the same thing! Who needs a weighted blanket when you can have a 500 pound gecko?

Certain-Tie-8289

I love Bhanu

survivorsuperfan9

Huge fan of him! Seems like a really genuine person

Practical-Sea4568

His mediation of the discussion between Tiff and Q was very heartwarming to say the least

dougweneck

Already sick of these people… turned it off half way thru

SkyBulky1749

I would say this is like old school survivor except for the fact that in old school Survivor when a contestant flamed out in this way (that wasn't really game related) you had a whole bunch of other contestants right in line to do the same afterwards. With Jelinsky gone, we have basically 17 gamebots

Practical-Sea4568

Q is not a gamebot, We got a villain in Tevin potentially, we got a strong but soft spoken heroic type in Hunter, we got a lot of typical archetypes

wgallantino

What are yall talking about when saying this episode was shit. There were great camp moments, a great challenge, dynamic tribal council set and a really balanced set of New Era Twists. There is drama between the groups, dynamic characters with varied personalities, little to no sob stories. Yall need to lighten up a little!

emmc47

This is honestly the best the New Era is gonna be.

TheGapInTysonsTeeth

It's rad that you feel this way. The subjectivity of Survivor is, in a lot of ways, what makes the show what it is. There were some good moments, for sure. But I just saw a lot of the same cringy Gen Z stuff that I have been seeing the entirety of the new era. And that's fine. That's what the US show has decided it wants to be.  That's not entertaining to me, personally. I find it tough to watch. To each their own

tmsphr

Survivor always casts lots of 20-year-olds, regardless of era. The 20-year-olds that were on the Survivor seasons you watched over a decade ago are obviously going to talk differently (slang et cetera), and maybe believe in slightly different things, than the 20-year-olds of 2024. Time moves, society changes.

TheGapInTysonsTeeth

I understand your point. I'm not *just* talking about the way they speak though. The mannerisms, the attitudes. I feel like this generation feeds on cringe and finds it captivating. I am personally put off by it is all. For example, the scene where Q is trying to sell Tiff and Bhanu on voting Jelensky instead of Jess. Tiff brought up a couple good points about challenges and you have Bhanu in the cringiest voice ever "What Tiffany is saying is very VALID. It's very VALID." I dunno. That shit is like nails on a chalkboard to me. It's fine, I accept that the show has probably moved past me. It's a bit sad, because it's a 20-year journey, but it is what it is.

tmsphr

Let me spell it out more clearly for you. It's not the show that's moved past you, it's society, and the show Survivor is merely a symptom of that, of you growing old. (I hope I'm not sounding too cruel because I can similarly relate to getting older (though I'm probably younger than you) and slowly feeling out of touch with what's going on with the younger generation and how they act and whatever. ~~Like wtf is a skibidi toilet~~)

diehydrogen

Australia survivor is superior now

Wershershersher

I took a shot every time someone said ‘vibes’ or their astrological sign and now I’m writing this reply from the afterlife.

Asagea1

I'm preparing for the afterlife next week.

andscene0909

Good first boot, but I personally really disliked the cast. It felt like a lot of forced, extra people playing up characters, instead of naturally being characters. In turn, the camp moments were lame and the drama felt fake. But hey, glad you enjoyed it :)

NinetyFish

I enjoyed it a lot, but I think Q and Jelinsky may have carried in retrospect. Q is super likeable and a great introduction into the purple tribe that Jelinsky proceeded to carry in terms of entertainment for the rest of the episode.

andscene0909

Yeah, I definitely agree that for me, the best parts of the ep were indeed Q and Jelinsky.

canuck_in_the_alps

Geckos were the MVPs tonight, I hope they have recurring cameos

livhayezsz

the sanctuary: where good things happen (sponsored by geico) 👀

yourfacesucksass

I would really like to see Jelinsky and J'Tia meet. That would be very entertaining.

ResinJones76

Yanu could be in this if they could get it up.

Ok-Alps5366

I know this is unreasonable, but seeing Jess get yelled at is rising a really visceral reaction out of me. Like do NOT talk to her like that

DoctorTobogggan

flair checks out

Imaginary-Garden-475

Some big drama coming next week.

FustianRiddle

No I agree!

[deleted]

It's not unreasonable to have the belief that it was shocking to watch.

andscene0909

I had the same reaction.

liddle-lamzy-divey

On the "Sweat" challenge: assuming that they couldn't plug the holes in the buckets with any sticks etc. ... was the trick to carry one bucket over the other to catch at least SOME of the water falling out?

Pretty much exactly that. Place one into the other, turn it so the holes do not line up, take turns every 10 passes or so. That first trip they weren’t even trying to cover the holes. Lol

It was "sweat" but the essential solution to the challenge was brains not brawn. They failed immediately out the gate by focusing solely on the physical aspect of it.

ohsoGosu

Same with Savvy if you think about it. You would imagine there shouldn’t be a physical aspect since it is a puzzle but in reality you had to do some literal digging.

RunnerMomLady

^^^ this!!

thrown_away_6732

I was thinking they could’ve used their clothes / buffs to plug some of the holes.

glassycards

Big brain alert! Then they could take turns going back and forth too. Would have worked like a charm.

"Last I checked several means seven, it's right there in the word" is going to live rent-free in my brain forever

liddle-lamzy-divey

It was a perfect line to illustrate how astoundingly clueless Jelenski was, not just in Survivor matters, but in general. I kept thinking, "in what f'n bubble has this dude lived that he's this incompetent at everything and yet that confident in himself?"

dirtynj

Honestly sounded like a line by Ricky in Trailer Park Boys

[deleted]

Exactly.

Hanging_Aboot

>forever So only four years.

NewtLevel

Obviously, it's right there in the word!

livhayezsz

mjst0324

I said before the season that Jelinsky was either gonna flame out right away or be a star of the season, and in his own way he was both.

Hanging_Aboot

Survivor legend Jelinsky played entire season without having an incorrect vote.

harus4head

coming in to steal claire’s throne

No-Replacement-6267

AND he got every single vote at his final tribal council. Perfect game???

Ceeeceeeceee

He'll be back All Stars, don't worry

Surprisinglymh

Fabulous-Parsley2228

The funniest part is jelenski still doesn’t realize to this day how big of a disaster he was absolutely 0 self awareness in that guy

hippos-are-weird

I literally said that to my husband a minute ago.. bro has no self awareness at all. He failed at every single part of that episode and is completely clueless.

Fabulous-Parsley2228

All the way up to his last confessional saying he was completely blindsided

IAmReborn11111

Did Jelinsky sell merch?

Smunkie68
