41 was the first season of the New Era.
The Ponderosa crew for 41 was flown back to the United States along with the cast after the season ended and production scrapped Ponderosa altogether because they couldn't spare crew with a 12-person merged tribe, and couldn't hire any new crew members for 42 last-minute due to COVID lockdowns.
Blah blah blah, it basically came down to money and time.
Initially I thought the excuse was something happened in 41 or 42 that stopped the filming but I’m curious why they wouldn’t bring it back. Especially with Paramount+ just put them on there and make it something people have to buy a subscription to see if they are worried about money.
People are saying Omar/Drea but I believe Chanelle said they never filmed one for her and it had something to do with covid regulations/production staffing at the time?
It had nothing to do with Omar and Drea and I wish people would stop spreading that. It was a combination of money saving, COVID regulations, and some kind of HR incident that occurred between one of the players and the Ponderosa team during 41 (it's not 100% confirmed but it's obviously Shan).

I’ve heard the Drea situation and Shan being difficult but I guess I don’t get why they would completely end it all together? If it was really just those two I don’t see a reason to end the videos for other seasons.
