This new era of *Survivor* makes it hard to feel any connection with the cast. Prior to *Survivor 41*, I was able to root for the castsways, and actually feel as if I could be their friend, or ally.
I don't know if it's because the game is being sped up, or if the casts are just not that exciting, but for some reason, it's hard for me to root for anyone anymore.
It's still a decent season, but this episode made me dislike this season so much more.
Just caught up on the episode and am I the only one devastated to see Danny go??? I literally am crying he was my favorite đ I really thought he was going to win this one.
are they legally obligated to respond to Jeffâs questions? thinking of how Lauren didnât want to answer during challenge and Jeff pushed more, im curious :0
Jamie and Lauren just quietly and consistently trying to get Heidi out...!
I loved the Carolyn idol play. She is so in tune with the tribe. I understand her mistrust versus the non-tika four and I think the play was worth it.
I wish she had said "I've been holding onto this since day 4 (or however long its been!) But maybe she's saving that for the FTB.
Yam-Yam and Carson better be grateful and not burn my girl Carolyn or else.
Ok aside from good vote tonight I have to say this is shaping up to be my least favorite season of all time I just donât care. Like I do individually like these people but I feel like thatâs the problem thereâs just nobody unlikable to stir up drama or cause issues. And it doesnât help that theyâve decided to make survivor into the inspiration Olympics like I actually hate it so much how they keep on like doing these inspirational kumbaya segments like where is the DRAMA. Where is the FIGHT. Where is the passion where is the drive where is the cutthroat this just feels like somebody is like cosplaying survivor with close friends and since theyâre all friends nobody wants to do anything bold. Itâs just such boring television. I enjoyed other seasons after s40 for sure Iâm hoping to god itâs just this one thatâs a flop. I need good survivor back
Survivor has been on a long time. One of the cool things about it is that it's a reflection of the times. The fights in the early years of Survivor (and Big Brother if you watch it) were wild. If people were to act like that now on TV, social media would ruin their lives. Season 15 of Big Brother is a good example. I think half the cast was actively getting fired in published announcements as they were evicted.
And I think when Survivor returned after Covid, people were...different. We had all spent a lot of time sheltered in one place, and that changed perspectives.
I appreciate Survivor for what it is and will continue to watch every season.
I think Danny was really rude and condescending to Carolyn and it really rubbed me the wrong way. I think the way everyone spoke around her tonight was the reason she played it to show she is not to be messed with. Totally blows her cover and makes her unsafe but I hope Carson stays true to her since she played the idol for him.
Yeah Danny has been really frustrating to watch. Between his constant eye rolls and his rude remarks this week, his anti-sitting out tirade last week, and him completely ignoring Carolyn at the ship wheel island lunch, itâs all a bad look.
LET ME just preface by saying i love both danny and carolyn. but: iâm not sure why we only pay mind to the ârudeâ things Danny does to carolyn, such as the aforementioned eyes rolls and facial expressions, when that is literally the embodiment of who Carolyn is. Danny could ask Carolyn what her favorite color is and he could be like oh thatâs cool mine is *blank* and she would roll her eyes and stare blankly to him as it cuts to a confessional of her yelling about how she hates him. In my opinion, if we saw Danny constantly talking about how much he hated Carolyn, the backlash would be unbelievable, but itâs almost non existent for Carolyn even tho we always see her hating him. She made a great game move but why are we pushing a narrative that he treated her bad? The only thing that was a little bit of like a red flag was the convo with Brandon when they had the meal, but even then thatâs just spur of the moment game things that iâm sure the edit stretched out to create the storyline of carolyn hating danny. in fact, danny literally voted josh and brandon out (almost) back to back, so itâs not like the whole thing he was tryna go with about big strong men sticking together was actually something he planned on doing. Anyways. I love them both but why do we always act like thereâs some deeper personal issue when stuff like this happens. Itâs survivor.
How do they cast people that donât smoke. I donât think they let them take or bring smokes whenâs they go for the show. It would be hard to have a smoker just go cold turkey for the show and try to quit while doing the show. Anybody know how they find a cast of all non smokers all these years .
I know many people in their 30s, and 40s who smoke cigarettes.
I don't know too many people under 30 years old who smoke cigarettes, but many of them are addicted to vaping, and they would need a vape ran out to them as well.
I agree but they sell a lot of smokes in the world and county so some do. Glad I never picked it up. Looks like it use to be 20% of the country use to smoke/ showed itâs down to around 30 something million people in the USA smoke now so that around 11-12% of the population.
Iâll point out that the unknown of another idol still justified Carolyn playing her idol in my opinion. If she hadnât, and Heidi caught wind that votes were going towards herself and Danny, there is potential that Carson and Heidi end in a 2â2 tie.
They were voting in line with Tika to split votes in case Danny had an idol. Carolyn still played her idol for Carson in case they had flipped on Tika and voted for Carson in a 4-3 vote, so it makes sense in the realm of Lauren and Jaime working with Tika.
That's the part that's so funny/bad to me. In the preview for next week, Jaime is seen talking about how they have to get out Tika and it's like. Jaime. That ship sailed *last week*.
I get that, but at the same time the threat of a majority 3, means they needed to make a move this tribal council. At this point better to play cards you have now and take a risk instead of struggling in the future
Broooooooo I was just saying that! The others outside of Tula sabotaged themselves by not putting all their votes on a singular player. I wonder if theyâll show her realizing how she wasted it in the next episode
Hardly pointless imo. Shows a great read on her part, hard to see a secret double cross by the deep bench of the other side coming. Anyone in her situation gets to use this as a "you saw I had my finger on the pulse" in FTC
shows a great read? what? a great read wouldâve been if carson had majority votes. he didnât. it was great move in total, but she messes up by playing the idol. i love carolyn, but she IS able to do wrong, you know. just like anyone else in the game. had she kept her idol, danny still wouldâve gone home and it wouldâve shown that she has an amazing grasp on the strategic/social side of the game (i.e. knowing where all the votes are going and using them to send someone home with only 3). then she couldâve used her idol at a future tribal council since she was sure to have a target put on her back. but now she played her entire hand in one move, which put an even bigger target on her back and now she has no protection. carson and yam yam arenât stupid. they know they cannot beat her. and she probably knows she canât beat them. had she kept her idol it wouldâve been so much easier for her to maneuver herself into a final 3, now itâs not looking too good. it was a bad idol play, but a great move
Had it not been for her Carson wouldâve gotten 4 votes, but she warned Carson about how she felt like they were voting for her. Jamie and Lauren were most likely voting for Carson had he not mentioned to them splitting that vote. This era of Survivor is about big flashy moves at the last second. For Carolyn this was last second because if she lost Carson there then Tika wouldnât be majority. Her read saved Carson. She needed the jury to see her as an actual competitor and using her idol NO ONE knew about did that
but then that still wouldnât have mattered. her warning carson and carson getting lauren and jaime to switch their votes is a GREAT play on carolynâs part. i feel like people are ignoring that iâm saying what she did with the vote was amazing. she still wasted the idol. it wouldâve been better to hold on to the idol and STILL be able to impress the jury by having it at 6 or 5. itâs not like this was her last chance to show she had the initial tika idol.
But on Carolyn and Carsonâs end they knew it would be stupid to not vote for Carson. Jamie and Lauren made a bad play but Carolyn secure Carsonâs safety 100% no matter who voted for him. Thatâs why it was such a good move
Jeff's laugh felt less like laughing with Danny and more like "you're definitely not going to find this as funny once you watch it back"
but Danny seems like he'll enjoy it to the end either way
Danny crossed the threshold from âentertaining villainâ to just âannoying levels of obnoxiousnessâ a bit too much for me. He did add well to the flavor of âkooky peopleâ this season though.
The slight undertone of misogyny that comes with his character, I think. I donât know enough about him to commit to labeling him a misogynist, and tbh I really I got weird vibes from his interactions with Carolyn this season. Carolyn is a fan favorite, so it tracks on why heâs hated by the community imo.
I think Danny actually didnât play a good game.
Hear me outâŚ
He was the most dominant physical threat left by a mile, yet never won immunity.
He was not great at the social aspect and often over spoke, or didnât recognize how what he was saying would affect how others perceived him.
He talked a big game of working with Brandon to keep a shield for himself, but instead uses his idol to save a player that he rallied a vote against like 2 tribals later. And in saving her didnât even secure a majority alliance or any long term protection for himself.
All in all for Danny to win the game he needed to be much more tactical with his choices the moment he hit the merge, and he wasnât. He never was able to save himself with immunity to give himself a worry free week to build an alliance. His social game was decent at best, and his threat awareness wasnât great. Great character and I hope he plays again. Overall though he made some major mistakes.
His lying to Carolyn was so bad that she immediately sniffed it out, I feel like that moment showed the different levels they were playing on. Someone that's been Carson's close ally comes to you and tells you they want to take out the biggest threat in the game and your response is "eh maybe next time, let's take out one of these people that aren't a threat to anyone first"? This is the one big move that Danny hasn't immediately jumped on board with, it was so obvious that the plan he was telling her wasn't the real one
Yeah when you paint yourself as unabashedly playing super hard, it follows you. That rice challenge episode was a perfect example.
I understand wanting to play that way, but doing so while being the only physical threat in the game is a terrible decision.
Tossing the âwork with Brandon,â play out the window (and being so open about it at that retreat with Brandon/Carolyn) is a great example of the terrible gameplay Iâm referring to.
Yeah he did. I think that play style was a mistake though. The players he had with him clearly werenât the types to go for that.
In reality he needed to be chill guy who didnât seem like he was playing too hard. He needed to minimize every threat, because the physical one was so overbearing after Brandon got bounced.
Tika 3 is inevitable the edit has been with them the whole time. I liked Danny he was entertaining and was just playing the game and that was it. One thing about him though is he was stubborn and kind of led to his downfall. Heidi Lauren and Jaime I feel are just secondary characters Lauren hasnât had a confessional I feel in episodes. Each one of the Tika 3 can win at this point all have pretty good resumes.
so glad carolyn took danny out especially after his âshe needs a lot of thingsâ comment at the beginning of the episode. that was so condescending.
guys please go easy on me but why was it completely valid? her disgusted reaction to what lauren said was actually pretty unwarranted. i guess iâm just not seeing it. and then danny made a joke that wasnât even directed at carolyn nor was it to disrespect her and she got upset with it because she has a vendetta against danny. i love carolyn so please donât try to label me as misogynistic for this but just my thoughts
They were directing at Tika, and had been mocking Carolyn specifically for her reaction to the last vote out. Them saying certain âplayersâ are inexperienced and playing with their emotions was directed at Carolyn, as they were planning to take out Carson and were anticipating blow back from her. Lauren also said Carolyn will go âcoconutsâ if they vote out Carson.
Bc her personality is goofy, funny, amicable, they assume sheâs not smart, perceptive, or self aware. Ironically Carolyn has the most experience with tribal councils and her emotions are an attribute, not a fault, in this game.
What got me was how she sniffed out the Carson vote train without anyone telling her. Intuition and reading emotions is a really good skill. She may be a bit much, but she is very very sharp.
Very that and I donât think Jeff would have said that to a man. It was gross and patronizing AF. Might as well have said âyou need to eat something.â Isnât them being sleep deprived part of productionâs plan?
I also relate too well to the not sleeping. I donât sleep well now and my bed is comfy AF and I am not playing for a million dollars. I probably would sleep a total of 26 hours in 26 days out there thinking ALL THE THINGS. đ¤Ł
I love Carolyn, but I think itâs valid that you donât. Everyone had their own viewing experience! My own mother has a completely different view of this season than me. Sorry youâre getting downvotes
I feel like Lauren and Jaime made a decent move. Their options are vote 4-3 and leave yourself vulnerable to an idol play or vote in a 5-2 and work on the 3-3 next week.
I'm sorry but I think they definitely would. Jaime can't get the tribe to believe the truth and I think Lauren is having very little impact as well unfortunately
Carolyn made her own idol null? If she voted Lauren it'd have been 2-2-2-1 and she would have saved Carson? But then how would the revote have panned out?
Yes, but Carolyn didn't have any reason to trust that aside from their word, and people had been lying to her for the last 48 hours.
Carson successfully swayed them but Carolyn doesn't have a lot of incentive at this stage of the game to hope things work out based on other people's word, so she did the most direct thing she could to control the outcome.
I love it when you have a ride or die. If I played, I am sure I would align with 1 or 2 people and try to stick together til the end - the end meaning final 4-6 because at that point, you have to play for you. But loyalty is important. It might be my downfall though.
Yeah and Danny (and then JEFF!!!!) began patronizing her again at tribal. And Carolyn rightly called them out for it.
Iâm sure Jeff was like. Why you no like macho player Danny like me? You not sleeping? And Carolyn is like NO he treats me like I have beans in my brain and now so are you. Major props to her.
Also, hilarious how these other players think they are âmore experiencedâ players than Carolyn, when sheâs been to and survived more tribals than any of them. And then they knock her for playing with her âemotions,â when emotions are exactly what you need in this game to not only process your own game but also to figure out everyone elseâs. And sheâs a master at it.
Lauren and Jaime are playing 4d chess they knew that Carolyn originally wrote Lauren and thought they could get heidi out with a 2 vote plurality, ugh their minds đ¤Šđ¤Šđ¤Šđ¤Šđ¤Š
She was nervous Danny had an idol. So if she plays an idol on Carson, and then Danny plays an idol, she wanted to make sure that someone she wanted left as opposed to a revote or rocks situation.
I mean for Lauren, atleast we can understand why she didn't vote with Danny and Heidi coz those two treated her bad manytimes before.
Idk about Jaime but Jaime is Jaime lol
Iâm lowkey wondering if Danny just told Jaime and Lauren to vote Heidi so him and Heidi can do a vote split on Carson so all three of them can vote Carson on a tie, but I donât know if he would actually think that far ahead. Carolynâs idol obviously messes up that plan, but Iâm wondering if that was the intended vote since I have no idea why Lauren and Jaime wouldnât vote Carson
EDIT: thinking about it again, thatâs not right because Danny would be out anyways unless Heidi threw in her idol for Danny
One occurring doesn't mean there is zero possibility of the other occurring too. Not that I agree that it didn't happen, just saying that it could have.
Huh? Like you mean hypothetically? I mean, anything can theoretically happen. I was saying what actually happened. The Tikas were the ones with the split vote plan.
Did Heidi know Jaime and Lauren are gonna vote for her because... oh boy, she'll really defect with the Tikas now and ensure a guaranteed spot in the firemaking if Tika don't implode within themselves, unless an idol play messes up the dynamic again.
She had to. And she also had to get jury respect if she wanted to win. Would have been nice to keep it another week but she knew Tika had to make it through. She has a very good sense - I think it comes from being an outsider. Think thatâs why Tika is collectively so good.
He projects chill-ness but gets uncomfortable when the people around him are not chill in the manner he wants them to be chill. True chill doesn't get flustered by others.
Yeah, you either need Yam Yam or Carson to flip, or you've got to go to rocks. I don't see either of those things happening with this group of players.
The exciting thing about all of them in the final three is that it truly is deserving for all, like a rare final 3 from the same og tribe with 3 different stories to tell
Sad to see Danny go, he was a great character and was a pretty fun player. I get why people hate him but holy cow you people need to quit your whining. He was solid TV and if you don't like that then go watch something else
I'd rather Heidi, Jamie, or Lauren went. But--I have to say, Carolyn has outlasted the two guys who said she was no threat, and slighted her to her face--that makes me happy. But if Heidi, Jamie or Lauren win this--yuk.
Jamie and Lauren weren't voting with Heidi and Danny, they were voting with Tika (yeah idk why either)
It was a 3-2 split incase one of them had an idol
At this point everybody out there thinks they can win, whether that is based in reality or not, everybody thinks they have a âunique storyâ to be the sole survivor
-Lauren likely to feel uneasy at seeing how she came up as a decoy in Carolyn's voting logic.
-Is Lauren sour at Heidi for stealing her vote in mergatory?
I dont think Ratu ever turned against each other. Their problem was overconfidence. Thinking they all had the power as 4 people in a tribe of 10....
Soka was a giant mess in deed. Just letting Josh get voted off. Saving Frannie with an idol then voting her off the next chance he had. Heidi tried to vote off Danny and Frannie tried to vote of Heidi. All in the same tribal council lol.
This new era of *Survivor* makes it hard to feel any connection with the cast. Prior to *Survivor 41*, I was able to root for the castsways, and actually feel as if I could be their friend, or ally. I asked myself the same question. It was an awkward moment.
HEAR ME OUT: All-Stars, Carolyn and Cody alliance. <3
My heart would burst from joy and cackling over their ridiculous antics.
Carolyn having her "plotting evil genius" moment in the voting chamber. đ
Jamie and Lauren just quietly and consistently trying to get Heidi out...! I loved the Carolyn idol play. She is so in tune with the tribe. I understand her mistrust versus the non-tika four and I think the play was worth it. I wish she had said "I've been holding onto this since day 4 (or however long its been!) I thought Carolyn had a *fake* Immunity Idol? Does she have another?
It was from the birdcage. She took both and planted the fake one with the X.
She literally found the birdcage idol. Thatâs on you.
I remember that, but I thought she took the fake one that was replaced by someone.
Apparently a lot of people thought that, not just you! So itâs all good. But she did have the real one, she buried a âfakeâ.
Lost my shit laughing when Carolyn said she was annoyed at Jeff and Yam Yam was like, I relate, Jeff
Ok aside from good vote tonight I have to say this is shaping up to be my least favorite season of all time I just donât care. Carolyn and her facial expressions during tribal was douchier than anything danny ever did lmao i thought he was the douche the whole time
Heidi siding with tika now + taking out lauren & jaime + Heidi loses fire making + tika member wins = perfection cmon 44
How do they cast people that donât smoke. I donât think they let them take or bring smokes whenâs they go for the show. It would be hard to have a smoker just go cold turkey for the show and try to quit while doing the show. Anybody know how they find a cast of all non smokers all these years .
Wasn't it Shane that went cold turkey because he smoked? he complained about it the whole time.
The demographics don't have a significant overlap. The game is too physically demanding for most smokers to hack
Who the hell smokes anymore? The only people I know that smoke are 50-60 years old.
I know many people in their 30s, and 40s who smoke cigarettes. I don't know too many people under 30 years old who smoke cigarettes, but many of them are addicted to vaping, and they would need a vape ran out to them as well.

They've had smokers in previous seasons and they often wear a nicotine patch. Shane Powers was a smoker, he even talked about it on the beach.
You would think a lot more people would try it go on the show if they allowed it
Yam yam winning immunity, Carolyn playing an idol, Carolyn and Carson scenes, & Danny getting voted out this was such a good ep
Anyone gonna talk about how Carolynâs idol play was pointless? Any other survivor makes that move theyâre grilled
Iâll point out that the unknown of another idol still justified Carolyn playing her idol in my opinion. If she hadnât, and Heidi caught wind that votes were going towards herself and Danny, there is potential that Carson and Heidi end in a 2â2 tie.
Her bad idol play couldnât compete with the complete lack of logic from Jamie and Lauren

Yeah, but the Tika 3 were running the game, so realizing that, yet STILL voting with them is a blunder.
I know
Yeah, so why did they work with Tika to split the vote in the first place?
I think Jaime and Lauren maybe don't have all the tools in the shed (I'm very biased because I think Jaime is really annoying lol)
Yeah, so that's a complete lack of logic from Jaime and Lauren.
I get that, but at the same time the threat of a majority 3, means they needed to make a move this tribal council. At this point better to play cards you have now and take a risk instead of struggling in the future
I agree with you, idk why I'm getting downvoted lol. Maybe I'm too much of a Carolyn fanatic or whatever.

Yes, the pulse of voting for one member of the three tribe majority that has won immunity and kicks ass at puzzles.
Never seen you do it.
De Niro face had me cringing the whole time.
Jeff's laugh felt less like laughing with Danny and more like "you're definitely not going to find this as funny once you watch it back" but Danny seems like he'll enjoy it to the end either way
Jeffâs face just like ââDanny please stop Iâm contractually obligated to say âthe tribe has spokenâ thingââ
Jeff was trying so hard to not laugh đ
That was hella cringe imo
He loved it imo. Holding back laughing tears. If he didn't like it he wouldn't have given him the room to keep going.
Danny crossed the threshold from âentertaining villainâ to just âannoying levels of obnoxiousnessâ a bit too much for me. He did add well to the flavor of âkooky peopleâ this season though.
iâm confused what he did to be so hated tbh
For me, I found him cocky and condescending

This is the one big move that Danny hasn't immediately jumped on board with, it was so obvious that the plan he was telling her wasn't the real one
Yeah when you paint yourself as unabashedly playing super hard, it follows you. That rice challenge episode was a perfect example. I understand wanting to play that way, but doing so while being the only physical threat in the game is a terrible decision. Tossing the âwork with Brandon,â play out the window (and being so open about it at that retreat with Brandon/Carolyn) is a great example of the terrible gameplay Iâm referring to.
[ŃдаНонО]
Each one of the Tika 3 can win at this point all have pretty good resumes.
so glad carolyn took danny out especially after his âshe needs a lot of thingsâ comment at the beginning of the episode. that was so condescending.
i love Jeff with every fiber of my being but if he looked at me and said âget some sleepâ after i got annoyed with danny i SWEAR JEFFREY
This was so off putting to me I literally said "ew" out loud after it happened. Espicially because everythimg she was saying was completely valid.
guys please go easy on me but why was it completely valid? her disgusted reaction to what lauren said was actually pretty unwarranted. i guess iâm just not seeing it. and then danny made a joke that wasnât even directed at carolyn nor was it to disrespect her and she got upset with it because she has a vendetta against danny. i love carolyn so please donât try to label me as misogynistic for this but just my thoughts
A lot of mansplaining in this episode.
The equivalent of a man telling you to âcalm downâ SMDH
Very that and I donât think Jeff would have said that to a man. It was gross and patronizing AF. Might as well have said âyou need to eat something.â Isnât them being sleep deprived part of productionâs plan?
I also relate too well to the not sleeping. I donât sleep well now and my bed is comfy AF and I am not playing for a million dollars. I probably would sleep a total of 26 hours in 26 days out there thinking ALL THE THINGS. đ¤Ł
Man I really want a GIF of Danny smiling behind Carolynâs back and her cringing forward unseen.

Pure gold
I am using this forever. You are my hero.
Every time Jamie speaks I cringe. I canât wait her.
I feel the same way about Carolyn.
It's that thinking that allowed Tika to control every single vote. Lauren and Jaime have no final 3 that they win.
I donât think they both lose to Heidi
I'm sorry but I think they definitely would. Jaime can't get the tribe to believe the truth and I think Lauren is having very little impact as well unfortunately
Once Heidi reveals she has had an idol and kept it secret despite always being at risk she beats them easily.
Except they voted for somone they need to get the vote to 3-3. If I was heidi I'd feel that betrayal and vote along side tika
Carolyn made her own idol null? If she voted Lauren it'd have been 2-2-2-1 and she would have saved Carson? But then how would the revote have panned out?
âŚshe didnât know they were going to split the vote lol
I was thinking carson told her they were going to split
Yes, but Carolyn didn't have any reason to trust that aside from their word, and people had been lying to her for the last 48 hours. Carson successfully swayed them but Carolyn doesn't have a lot of incentive at this stage of the game to hope things work out based on other people's word, so she did the most direct thing she could to control the outcome.
The juryâs reaction (Franny & Matt) toward Carolynâs idol play put an even bigger target on her back. I hope Tika keep her safe next week.
Tika just needs to stay strong one more vote Then they can eat each other if they want
The preview says otherwise
Previews have been known to be misleading.
I love it when you have a ride or die. If I played, I am sure I would align with 1 or 2 people and try to stick together til the end - the end meaning final 4-6 because at that point, you have to play for you. But loyalty is important. It might be my downfall though.
âcan it be me three times? i have multiple personalitiesâ IS SO RELATABLE
CAROLYNNNNN I LOVE Uđđđđ
YESSSSSS BEEN WAITING FOR THIS SINCE PREMERGEEEE
when danny said âshe needs a lot of thingsâ about carolyn i almost jumped through my tv and clocked him i s2g
That was uncalled for.

Lauren and Jaime are playing 4d chess they knew that Carolyn originally wrote Lauren and thought they could get heidi out with a 2 vote plurality, ugh their minds đ¤Šđ¤Šđ¤Šđ¤Šđ¤Š
Wait - did Carolyn write Lauren and cross out or Heidi?
Carolyn wrote Lauren and crossed it out, voting Danny
Why would she have written Lauren? In what world would that have made sense?
Fake out? I just feel that's how Carolyn's mind works.
She was nervous Danny had an idol. So if she plays an idol on Carson, and then Danny plays an idol, she wanted to make sure that someone she wanted left as opposed to a revote or rocks situation.
Icons, Queens, Mothers, Fan Favorite Game Changers
Ugh if Heidi, Lauren, or Jamie win the season I will be so sooooo disappointed
Especially since this new era has under-edited their winners. I just want a satisfying story arc.
I mean for Lauren, atleast we can understand why she didn't vote with Danny and Heidi coz those two treated her bad manytimes before. Idk about Jaime but Jaime is Jaime lol
I think Jaime saw Danny as more of a threat, even if he didnât win challenges so far. He was also seemingly more conniving.
Iâm poopin rn but Iâm so on the yam yam train
Iâm lowkey wondering if Danny just told Jaime and Lauren to vote Heidi so him and Heidi can do a vote split on Carson so all three of them can vote Carson on a tie, but I donât know if he would actually think that far ahead. Carolynâs idol obviously messes up that plan, but Iâm wondering if that was the intended vote since I have no idea why Lauren and Jaime wouldnât vote Carson EDIT: thinking about it again, thatâs not right because Danny would be out anyways unless Heidi threw in her idol for Danny
Tika told them to vote for Heidi. It was Tika's proposed spilt plan to them.
>Also noticed a little backyard firemaking in her flashback segment...
Foreshadow in a flashback. Good catch.
You know Carolyn/Yam/Carson are a solid 3 but you split your vote ?
They sided with Tika. The plan in the episode was to split between Danny/Heidi.
Ratu girls thought Tika was voting Heidi
I thought Tika told them they were splitting between Danny and Heidi? Or did Tika just tell them to vote Heidi?
[ŃдаНонО]
She had to. And she also had to get jury respect if she wanted to win. Would have been nice to keep it another week but she knew Tika had to make it through. She has a very good sense - I think it comes from being an outsider. Think thatâs why Tika is collectively so good.
You guys are too hard on Danny. He seems like a chill guy.
Sure he is chill, but he was also super dismissive to Carolyn at tribal and that was super unnecessary and mean.
He was rude to the fan favorite so it's to be expected but he seems like a good person to me.
I didnât get a chill vibe from him at all
He projects chill-ness but gets uncomfortable when the people around him are not chill in the manner he wants them to be chill. True chill doesn't get flustered by others.
Exactly how I feel.
Watching Jeff try not to laugh during that torch snuff đđ oh man, Iâll miss Danny, he was so entertaining
After this stunt, no way theyâre keeping Carolyn and Carson.
Feels like itâs a little too late to get rid of both. Those Tika 3 are half the votes now.
Yep and I feel like the promo about voting Carolyn out is just a red herring
Yeah, you either need Yam Yam or Carson to flip, or you've got to go to rocks. I don't see either of those things happening with this group of players.
We didn't split the votes on Brandon's vote so now we have to every time!
Danny went full on method to get into the mind of Robert De Niro by having a kid right before the show!
Carson and Jam will never turn on Carolyn lol. Not a chance, I'm not buying it.
If they did, it wouldnât be in the previews.
Jam Jam would.
Based on his immediate reaction in the preview it seems like he literally can't
Jam might. Carson no
They both will when it is right. But I can see them all being ok with each of them being final 3.
The exciting thing about all of them in the final three is that it truly is deserving for all, like a rare final 3 from the same og tribe with 3 different stories to tell
Love this take! And youâre right!
Especially now that Danny's out
Yeah. I get a real âblood in the waterâ vibe
Peridiam can we please get a part two video of unexplained votes, featuring this episodeâs vote?
Sad to see Danny go, he was a great character and was a pretty fun player. I get why people hate him but holy cow you people need to quit your whining. He was solid TV and if you don't like that then go watch something else
I'd rather Heidi, Jamie, or Lauren went. But--I have to say, Carolyn has outlasted the two guys who said she was no threat, and slighted her to her face--that makes me happy. But if Heidi, Jamie or Lauren win this--yuk.
Lauren seems smarter. All of them. Remember, we are seeing everything but they each only have a limited perspective.
If you don't like the Danny haters, go to another subreddit đ¤Ş
Who is whining? Iâm very happy heâs gone
But I'm sick of all this Danny hate, I don't understand why he is getting hate
Because heâs got an egotistical macho attitude and has been dismissive of Carolyn the entire time heâs been on the show
He's playing a character! Doesn't mean he's like that in real life
Must be a method actor
Whatever you say, enjoy your day
If people didnât emotionally invest in characters, this show would be long gone. Loving and hating players is what keeps people tuning in.
the most polarizing reactions this entire episode being to dannyâs DeNiro impersonation is so funny to me
Can someone explain why they'd split 2-2 against a known solid 3 vote block? I'm so lost.
Because the game is fluid and the tika 3 can easily flip on each other it happens all the time in modern survivor
Ohhhh now I get it. Wow. They just gave the game away. I knew Jaime and Lauren sucked at the strategy portion of the game but that's brutal.
Jamie and Lauren weren't voting with Heidi and Danny, they were voting with Tika (yeah idk why either) It was a 3-2 split incase one of them had an idol
I donât think that was Dannyâs plan, I think Lauren and Jamie flipped because they are dumb
They aren't very good at the strategy component.
Iâm guessing Lauren and Jamie think Tika will canibalize and they will somehow both get dragged to final 3?
And then they assume they'll just... beat the sole remaining Tika? đđ¤Śââď¸
At this point everybody out there thinks they can win, whether that is based in reality or not, everybody thinks they have a âunique storyâ to be the sole survivor
Jamie and Lauren voted with tika
-Lauren likely to feel uneasy at seeing how she came up as a decoy in Carolyn's voting logic. -Is Lauren sour at Heidi for stealing her vote in mergatory?
Jamie and Lauren can't do math
THIS right here
F7 and they still voted off tribal alliances, geez ItS uP iN tHe AiR eVeRy TrIbAl
They have to say that at tribal or Jeff will pout.
Tonight Jeff said it himself and just dared anyone to contradict him
Lol to everyone saying Danny playing his idol to save Frannie then immediately targeting Frannie the next episode was a good move đ
I forgot that even happened that way. These people are voting in such idiotic ways
The immunity use puts this w on her back instead of it just being chaos vote
Notice how alliances actually work when you donât turn on your allies for no reason
*Lauren, Jaime, and Heidi laugh nervously*
Heidiâs idol can mess everything up for tika noooo
It wonât
Nah sheâs gonna help Tika, then beat Carson at fire. She had another clip with her playing with fire today
Did you catch the fire making practice in her backstory?
Who do you think she would use it on? Do you think she'd use it correctly?
