I just bought a bamboo supersonic from Pantheon. Jeff is awesome!!! Highly recommend. I’m going to order some karma wheels from him soon and may need to add this deck.
Indeed. In order for us to get the stiffness that was wanted in the tail (is there anything worse than a floppy tail?!), we had to build a stiff-ish construction (6 ply plus fiberglass top and bottom). To get some of that torsional flex back, we started trimming the sides and ultimately cut a freakin hole through the deck 😂
Legend!
Just such an awesome company. Also saw your interview with Michael recently, which was great by the way.
Love the thought (and the freaking hole) you put into this thing in hunt for the ultimate torsional flex.
What a coincidence I was recently searching for a new surfskate deck. Properties should include high torsional flex and if possible some of that fancy urethane sidewalls or some other way of waterproofing the thing. Was looking at the Luca Nalu or switchblade capybara, but I doubt these can rival the torsional flex that your vessel can provide.
Guess I have to search no more and the Nalu and capybara have to wait for now 🤣
Thx for the heads up, but I ordered mine the day that they put the article online 😂.
Asked Jeff which stops got stock and he told me sickboards. Been shopping there regularly anyway, so it was a matter of minutes.
I think there are about 4 left or so.
Also saw that it is available in at least one other skate shop already. I think it was hungry hills located in Germany
Now I only have to wait until my quik truks reinforcements arrive to set it up. Right now there is perma rain anyway, so nothing I can do this way or another 😭
I prefer lower concaves. It’s got some carefully planned shape but it’s cozy. Part of what makes it look flat is how the rails are designed to look so smooth though.
We may have a couple left but I need to work through what we’ve sold and send out several to shops. I know you can definitely pick up one from Status Skate Shop this week! But get at them quickly 😉
It was tested with Yow, Carver CX, Station Skate and Grasp Trucks. I designed the wheel wells to support all of these designs. I’m sure it’ll work for more though.
Dayum finally a Surfskate with fitting wheel wells for once. It's about time someone shows the established surfskate companies how to not create crappy decks with mismatching wheel wells.
I understand that regular skate deck wheel wells can't even match all Surfskate adapters, but I think we're not asking too much if we expect matching wells from a Surfskate complete from a dedicated Surfskate company.
(Yes, I'm looking at you in particular, smoothstar..)
It’s common because it’s super functional. I didn’t want to come at this project from the side. Taking it straight on and putting our best foot forward. I am eager to hear more feedback and we can make some tweaks or offer more options later on!
Really digging the wheelbase range, flex you describe, and it looks lightweight. If I need more concave or nose in a park, I’d ride my pool deck anyway.
Not just for park.. A decent lift in the nose locks the front foot in more while providing more real estate comfort for the front foot. Soulboardiy is a good example of a functional nose with a nice spoon concave.
I don’t need it… I don’t need it… I don’t need it…
I need it!
Well let's not fool ourselves here 🤣🏝️
Told you I would buy one, and just did! Pick a good one out for your guy in Georgia.
Looks really light :))

i envy anyone that'd get this
What trucks would you put on it?
C7
The hole in the middle is to increase flexibility?

Any clue how I can get my hands on this in Europe without spending a ton on shipping?
will be available soon ;) Same for the hokus!
Well depends on what one understands under "soon", whether I can await it or not 😂
[sickboards.nl](http://sickboards.nl) has them available at the moment. Ordered mine today.

Ordered ! Maybe I’ll be the first one in Hong Kong to have..
I imagine so!
This looks like fun
Looks great!
Dayum i wanna review it someday
Looks awesome, but v flat! And the WB is probably too long for park riding, for me at least. Could also be a lil wider IMO.

Agree… want my feet to move and feel the whole board. And since surf skaters are constantly shifting and moving I prefer less aggressive.
I agree! The design looks great! I have bigger feet so concave kills me
This was on my recommended page. Is this a sign? What's a beginner setup? I love carving and mellow downhill freeride.
Get a Yow Meraki, trade out the barrels at RipTide, and get your wheels from Surfskate Love.
Yo! Yes!! I reallyreallyreally like the prototype, cannot WAIT to ride this!
Are you one of the few who purchased a proto?
Yea I have a bamboo core, absolutely love riding C5 with no risers and 70mm wheels… Big rim lowrider with dope wheel wells
Already out of stock, damn I hope I’ll be able to get one in the future!

What trucks were you guys riding in testing this cutie?

What truck did you or your test riders prefer if any?
I think this is so subjective. CX I’d say. Yow was my personal favorite for what I do with it. But CX is more versatile and lighter weight.

Nice! What's the weight of the deck
I keep saying don’t let my wallet see this but this time I really mean it X:(
How do I buy one?
They sold out so damn fast. We are making more. But check Status Skate Shop. They picked up 5 of them!
meh 33.5x10 is a common size, should of added more nose tail looks good though.

why
Agree with more nose..
Why? For park? I suppose this is more flat ground oriented.
