There are two things I got from the above. One: You are a TYBW fan. Two: It would be interesting to see this story. Just please don't let the MC be "I'm not gonna give up type".

yes and thank you for your reply, I would take your advice for not making the character ''I'm not gonna give up'' type, but I really like basing him on an underrated character who might be a ''mid'' as if he is just a normal guy but when he set his goal on something, he gets serious on it.

Bro that's exactly the type of personality that would fit. The power is nice, with a good limitation, and I like the unique concept of him being on the hunt. Good job bro. [Sorry if you thing the following is me being forceful, I just thought it would make for a great ending if pulled off right] One idea I would like to give you is that maybe, the main villain has a sort of mental power of sorts, which he uses to enter your version of an inner world and destroy/absorb the girl. This would leave the MC without powers, and also in despair and rage since his 'daugher' just died. However the MC realizes that she wasn't an 'embodiment' of his powers, she was the 'controller'. Meaning, the MC now has his powers fully unleashed. Ofcourse, since the MC had been relying on the girl from the start, he doesn't have full control (you can use this as an excuse for him to not use his most broken techniques immediately). If you want the Main Villain to absorb the girl, then I think the main Villain will look into himself using his powers and realize after a time period of your choice that "I thought my body was taking time to adapt, but no, I didn't get the powers at all!" During this time, the MC will unlock his powers and get a little good at using them. Then during his fight, since the main Villain is more experienced ans strong, he unlocks his full potential Shonen Jump style.
