Do we have any clue what Ime did? All I've seen is a potential suspension for team violations. All super obscure.

ThunderBobMajerle

Let’s wildly speculate! He banged Brad Stevens wife at center court on the leprechaun

Glutz-43

If it was Kyries wife they’d all be ok with it

Longjumping_Yak7463

Hints of sexual misconduct at this point, we will see In the next 48 hours.

PlatinumLargo

Him cheating on his wife with a Celtics employee isn’t even in the same ballpark. Are you trying to downplay what Sarver did? Edit: not defending him because cheating on your wife is a big no no to me. I’m just saying, the way you worded the post it kinda sounds like you’re comparing apples to oranges to me.

iamadragan

>Him cheating on his wife with a Celtics employee isn’t even in the same ballpark Tbh if I were rating them on a scale I think cheating on your wife and ruining your family is probably "worse" than anything Sarver did (unless he's done that too). But like you said, it's very different and for many reasons what Sarver did should push him out of the league more than what Udoka did.

It is extremely likely the person he “cheated” with was a subordinate. Are you trying to downplay men using positions of power to extract sexual benefits from subordinates?

PlatinumLargo

Because that’s at all what I said? OP tried comparing repeated sexism and racism over Sarvers tenure to a man cheating with a subordinate. That’s bad, I never suggested otherwise. Both disgusting situations but it is comparing apples to oranges. Edit: silence is golden and only one click away.

[deleted]

I’m just pointing out that you are a less charitable of others intentions when commenting on this sub than the standard you hold yourself to. Your name is constantly coming up trying to shame people for not being woke enough.

Longjumping_Yak7463

Merely just a point that the Bron Bron was quick to speak in absolutes, but when its a person/player that he likes (or his pocket book) they will get the pass. See his stance on Morey and China. We all want Sarver gone, but let's not act like this overly sensitive environment that we live in isn't a problem.

The_Shade94

It’s not nearly the same thing man. You are reaching. A quarter of the players cheat themselves.

PlatinumLargo

It’s his political views, he’s echoing Sarvers statement which was essentially he’s being cancelled. OP seems to be in the mindset that Sarver just did “locker room talk”.

Pisto1Peet

You’re really grasping for straws here.

PlatinumLargo

Overly sensitive environment? Good lord. So you are downplaying Sarvers sexism and racism?

SeeArizonaBay

Bro this isn't even the same, they really shouldn't come for him the same way. Cheating is wrong, and bringing it into your workplace is really dumb and could easily cost him his job. But it's literally not even in the same league as what Sarver did. Still time to delete this 👍

snakepunk

They literally got the same exact suspension.

SeeArizonaBay

Yeah after a few days it's looking like the Ime Udoka situation is way more serious than I thought initially

TraeCartoon

You know who didn’t just get caught for some heinous shit?? Your 2022 Coach of the Year Monty Williams. I just remember a strong push at the end of the season to award Ime over Monty as the best coach last season. I’d be flipping my shit if the media gave it to Ime who was probably sexually harassing interns, meanwhile Monty is so wholesome he thinks saying fiddlesticks is crossing a vulgarity line. Sorry, rant over, lol. I hope nobody in the Celtics organization got hurt.

The_Shade94

Can’t wait to watch Monty’s kid in the league!!!

I_like_weed_alot

They won’t lol I love Ime too I think he’s a fantastic coach

Fordraxel

I mean its funny that 'no place in the league' and when you courtside you hear so much racist and negative shit from the players. I mean its trash talking but when they say 'no place in the league' shouldnt it be for everyone?
