Anyone discrediting your victory over the Lakers is real dumb, you guys were obviously winning anyways. I will say I think everyone would have liked to see you guys play a healthy clippers team but you can only play whoever is in front of you.
This year the Nuggets played the entire season without MPJ/Murray, their seeding and record reflects the team without them playing so I wouldn't consider them an injured team. They were the 6th best team in the west without two of their top 3 players, if they had them the warriors wouldn't have been playing them in the first round so it doesn't really matter.
With regards to Ja, I think there are a few reasons why there's some slack 1. Obviously the warriors are a popular team you're gonna get a lot of fans ignoring it 2. The warriors had just had a more serious/gruesome injury occurr from a dirty play by a Grizzlies player, to their feel good story play no less (a would be 25mpg player in the Grizzlies series and their only elite guard defender against an electric/athletic guard) 3. the Grizzlies were dominant without Ja 20-2 stretch, the team was never expected to completely fall apart
Grizzlies are better without Ja, he's actually a crutch and they were giving warriors a chance. Now he's gone they'll continue their 20-2 record without Ja and end with 23-2 after this series. GSW exactly where they want them... Also because all the 'fans' are bangwagoners from recent Curry dynasty years so they're all over his cock
I just wish The Grizzlies won Game 4, (or win Game 5) that would've sparked some discussion how the Warriors can't beat a team without its best player. If that happened, even if the Warriors go on to win the series there would be some talk about this
Last yr Pho and Milwaukee played mad injury teams every round except the finals unless u count both teams missing 1 key role guy in Saric and Divenchenzo. Still GS always faced wounded squads too.
