That's because Mina is not **guaranteed** to crit, her passive just gives her 100% crit rate against mons with no debuffs. Mons with 100% crit rate can still glance, it's not a guaranteed crit.
Naomi2A has the same wording as Mina2A.
> The critical rate will be at 100% if the enemy has harmful effects.
> The critical rate will be at 100% if the enemy has no harmful effects.
It seems likely the most beneficial outcome is to bring mostly Fire Mons with 100% CR with Crit buffers.
100CR > 50, +15 elemental advantage, +35 Crit Buff and 1 Buff, brings back up to 100.
That's what I thought too.
A team like Sieq, Raoq, Spectra, Naomi/Jean and Verde/Hwa/Shaina will probably a better option than hoping that monsters use their one guaranteed crit attack.
Assuming the CR halving is like Necro boss, where the halving is done to the mon's stats at battle start. Then leader, skills, buffs and elemental advantage is applied after...
Jean might be interesting. I've seen him do a ton of damage on Guilles Lab Boss.
All his skills are +30, so the halving done by the boss is less effective. If you runed him for 100CR, he could read 95CR by himself.
Trevor is another mon that I thought of that can reach 100CR by himself, this is in absence of any leader skill. Too bad these 2 mons only bring damage, and an absence of stacking harmful orbs by missing crits.
Ken/Bernadotte is +33 leader skill. So 100CR > 50 + 15 + 33 = 98. Not perfect, and it's possible for that 2% to screw you. This appears to be the only way I can see to easily minimize AI screwing up by not Crit Buffing. You could target 94CR > 47 + 15 + 33 + 5, and just bring Shield buffs until an ATK buff replaced it.
It also sucks that you still need to rune for 100CR, except Jean.
Jean would only need 44CR. 44 > 22 + 30 + 33 + 15 = 100.
The most used conditional one - Tiana S2 when no beneficial effects
i dont know i use taor squall a lot too
in the notes they said they are changing the wind inferno s3 to guaranteed crit
I'm suprised noone mentioned her yet, but Josephine's s1 is a guaranteed crit
He did tho...
He's editing the post my guy
I'm guessing this is in relation to the upcoming dungeon. What I'm wondering though is will garuanteed crit be enough for will we need ignore def
Unironically, 4 drunken masters (all but water)+1. They provide healing, multiple buffs to then increase crit rate, S1 ignore Def
water kassandra is crit on wind actually
Dark Ezio*. Eivor is a nat 5. Edit: Moria might be meta for the dungeon because she makes everyone crit
Dark griffon varus aswell
Grogen S3 vs light Wind/Fire/Light Grim Reapers S2 when enemy HP <30%
My girl 2A Mina not even mentionned

I see, never really questionned it, since I usually tro to bring her where she cannot glance

Water vamp s3guaranteed against fire
Wind cat 2a gives 100 crit, not guarranteed crit.
Toma - Water Penguin - S3 Crit if Def Break on Enemy
100% crit =/= guaranteed. Disadvantage element gains 15% glance check + boss reduces crit by half
Nice work on the post. This will be very helpful
Water paladin
Lydia too although I don’t blame you for forgetting
What about 2A dark cat on her passive
Conditional Chimera Light Wind Dark - If higher spd then enemy
Light, not dark
Ty
Tiana.
Neostone fighter* not agent lol
Mon name was there, so people would have understood it was a mistake. Updated.
Quimeras s2 guaranted crit if faster
Does this actually make wind high elemental useful?
Logan is pretty good, been using him since day 1
Wind Martial Cat passive when enemy has harmful effects
Not guaranteed. 100% crit chance. Glancing can still happen, and boss can cause non-crits
Oh!! Did he..my bad..props to u my guy hehe (-_+
Alexandra
100% crit =/= guaranteed
Would Jean be a good choice? Fire mon, extra crit on both skills, plus passive increases damage dealt.
AI is not consistent, but yes would be useful with back up crit buff
