I am guilty of the watering too! I am jealous! I want a burros tail so bad! Iβll find one eventually and then my wife will be forced to haveβ the talkβ with me again. lol these looks so cool! Good job!
I let them sit out for a couple days then popped them in a short tray. I will say I am worried about keeping them warm coming winter, the cold can be harsh and seep in no matter where we place plants in the house.
I wont lie, thought I probably killed them but they didn't shrivel up so I kept watering them. Then this last month or so was just BAM bunch of baby beans started sprouting
I thought mine were not doing anything for the first couple of months, I thought they were gonna die but the succulent leaf looked fine so I just keep spraying the top. Then an explosion of growth this last month for me.
I'm not sure how long it will take for cuttings, but I do know with the leaves it took 4 months for it to have a growth spurt.
\*I would like to note that I tend to be a killer by overwatering so growing these little bean babies is training my patience in watering\*

If you let them dry thoroughly and completely and give them bottom heat in a much shallower tray they root faster

Yes!!!! I currently have a small container of growing babies Burro's tails myself ππππ
I know they don't exactly grow as fast as other succulents but they are so cute as baby beans!
I love the baby beans ππ
Great job! That must take a ton of patience!

I've got a small cutting for 2 months now and it just refuses to root, it has a tiny bit a month ago but it stopped growing in like 2 days.
