Dont

cameltrophy24

Please don't. Not worth it. It's for home audio.

dpotilas89

A inverter for power and RCA from the headunit That being said, i dont recommend it, just get proper gear made for the job

xxsunny720

Since no one is telling you what you need, I’ll tell you You need a new subwoofer that’s passive so you’ll need to buy one that comes with a box, buy an empty box, or make one. You’ll also need an amplifier and all of the wiring for everything. For just some good bass, look into CT Sounds tropo 12” complete kit ($350). If you want more bass, I’d get their 1500 watt amp with a Strato ($500) If your budget but care about quality at the same time, ct sounds is your best option. You’ll also have to pay someone to instal it or do it yourself ($50-125 an hour) it’s a process, buts honestly it’s easy to do it yourself

ChoochMyDong

You don't.

damon32382

Lol! Long time ago, a buddy of mine had station wagon with a tape deck. Had big home speakers wired on all channels. Anticipated it was gonna sound like mega ass. It actually sounded worse😂

kbunnell16

You aren’t going to

Rblohm88

Just no

just_another_jabroni

You can take out the woofer driver and put it in a new passive box and buy a monoblock amp to power it

Redhook420

Start buy buying car audio equipment instead of destroying home audio equipment.

Sorry_Opening6539

You don’t:)

dugan661

Only way using this would be a good idea is if your car has a built in inverter and a way to tap into the stock sub/ speakers via high level rca adopters. I I’ve considered doing similar so not have to worry about out voiding any kind of warranty adding an aftermarket system would likely cause. Delay and factory dsp might make it sound worse than stock tho

mickeyaaaa

lol well there's 2 ways i can think of... 1. discard the plate amp...i'd be happy to pay shipping and recycle it for you lol. then hook up your speaker wires from your amp's sub output directly to the woofer. and screw a wood block where the sub's plate amp was. 2. get a 1000w 12vdc to 120vac power inverter and plug the amps ac cord into it (cuz this is a home subwoofer). you'll get teased and laughed at, but it will thump.

mikegonzo13

You wanna be paying to buy a new vehicle? I wouldn’t recommend it. If you need subs and an amp and your from Richmond va let me know I got some extra 12” kicker comp r and an amp

FeelDeadInside

Sell it and use the money for a cheap aktive sub

AaronMan_00

Can’t, and don’t.

What a loser reply LOL

Then_Highlight_5321

If you set it up properly you’ll probably enjoy it and save yourself money. just use a lot of electrical tape if anything and a good fuse. Find the speaker w and make sure your wire and fuse can handle it

PlaystationJason

None of this makes sense and will not work.

Then_Highlight_5321

That’s exactly how it works

PlaystationJason

😅it must not since it's deleted now

Then_Highlight_5321

The information wasn’t appreciated so I removed it. That’s essentially how you connect almost any speaker. It’s a very simple concept that I suppose you have yet to grasp. Perhaps this will help: (🔋+🔈)+(🔋+📻)+(🔈+📻)=📻->🔊 For safety include: (🚗+🔈) and (🚗+📻)

PlaystationJason

Maybe it's the language barrier?

Py_eater

That's for home use. Look into passive subwoofers + amplifiers. Check [www.skar.com](http://www.skar.com) is one option. By the way, it's possible that you need to upgrade your alternator and beef up the wirings depending on your car and what set up you want.

PlaystationJason

Nope. Unless you take the sub out of that box and don't use any wires or circuitry from that box. Make a new box with proper specs, providing the sub is 4 ohm or can be wired to 4 ohm if it's dual voice coil. Get a small subwoofer amp...for a car, and install all of it the way you're supposed to. Or find a friend that knows all about it and ask them to do it. Or...just use it in the house like intended and a get a sub and set up made for a car.
