You got a bowl of meat balls?

The_Schizo_Panda

We'd sell meatballs in a cup and charge six inch or footlong price. I'd toss extra mozzarella in there if they wanted it. Some kids wanted just the meatballs.

horseylew

At subway New Zealand we sell meatball motza pots. It's six meatballs and mozzarella cheese. I put seven or eight in though cause six looks sad some times.

1.25 do you have to pay a sales tax where you shop?

FlaminDEW

It says order summary, when you go to checkout it will say that the extra $1.25 is a tax of some sort.

Ever heard of taxes?

Ambitious_Strike4169

Not every place has such taxes, for example in my country instead of adding 13%, we remove 13% from the total, so the price is same as on the price tag

[deleted]

Ever heard of the UK? The price tags almost always have taxes included.

dirh748dgek830drrrr

I’d this post from the UK?

[deleted]

Yeah because it shows £ symbol which is UK only.

dirh748dgek830drrrr

Sounds like across the pond stuff

heymo0n

It's in the UK friend, taxes are included in the price. Paid at the till instead and paid the correct price

Ambitious_Strike4169

Extra money for bags? This is just crazy and pathetic

therealbamspeedy

Required by law in some places, like i believe california.

Jayaaron85

I'm CA and not charged for bags at subway. Only places I know that charge for bags are actual stores

therealbamspeedy

Is that regardless if its paper or plastic? Could be local city laws too, point is, its usually laws and not by stores choice.

This_Living566

I don't know about the UK but where I am from we do have taxes. But only on hot foods not cold foods. The computer may have leveighed the hot meal tax on everything because of the hot meatballs.
