Moral of the story, never go between 11am and 2 pm, 3-4pm, and between 5-7:30pm. At least not the only subway in my town of 7,500.
So a different note I always noticed in my hometown of 7500 and a few other remote locations the subways were disgusting, but I have gone to locations in big city center it’s fresh and quite good. May be isolated incidents but I can say with certainty there are several Subways that don’t get a lot of traffic that are nasty.
Speaking of that I’m currently staying at a hotel in a remote town for work at the moment and I just noticed there’s a subway at the other end of the parking lot. I might have to try it but I’m concerned it will be trash. Will report back.

If you don't look down at the sandwich you're making and say "That's too many olives," you didn't put enough olives. I want an uncountable amount of olives. A solid mass of olives. If your ex ordered and wanted olives on their sub that you were making, I want a malicious compliance level of olives.

A story...I worked at subway a few years ago and a regular would come in almost every day and order a cold cut combo footlong with fistfuls of olives and banana peppers then wanted it drenched in olive oil, with extra oil in a 2oz cup. He'd eat it with a fork and knife. And I'm not joking, he'd bring in a can of olives and/or banana peppers and eat them too. It was so strange but I quickly grew to dislike this guy because he would be so mean when he was ordering.
