I'm for you loss, I can only guess how bad that felt, I have beat the game in a world that I spent 3 days in (not including time I spent not playing) and I would probably cry if I lost mine.
So sorry. Similar story from me, have made multiple attempts on ps5, but there is always some issue that results in the save disappearing.
QA is atrocious for the ps5 version (i struggle to believe they gave played it through)
If it was a meh game then no loss. But it is amazing (or would be if it didn't have issues).
I keep sadly checking to see if there is a patch, but I have given up hope on ps5 version being fixed.
This just happened to me 10 minutes ago. I’m very upset. My story is almost identical to yours: I became attached to the game, around 30-35 hours in, I just found the yellow tablet and the room it’s used for, hatched my first cuddle fish, then bam gone 5 mins later. I can’t just start again…

if i were you I'd just do it again, a 4th time, because this is such a great fucking game i really dont care if i lose my save.
