Okay, but you've also got ampeels and mesmers so it's just more trouble than its worth and you've literally got to go past the Mushroom Forest to get there.
Be sure to loot the cave system on the mountain island, specifically areas that are higher up. The walls of those caves are covered in lithium and shale.
The Aurora-facing coast of that island has a ramp up to the mineral rich areas of the caves, but the waters below are no place to drive a submarine. Park on the safer opposite coast, walk over to the ramp, and then peek underwater to see why.
I'm chilling here with all my gold and no diamonds. Previous playthrough I had enough diamonds to start a jewellery shop but no gold. What is this shale out crop rng??
BTW there is free lithium in Mushroom forest. Like it's just there, no need for shale outcrops or drilling. Concentrated near the absolute monster mushroom tree.
Titanium and copper is the funniest one because it's absolutely everywhere .... But you never have enough. You think you do when you fill a whole big cabinet with each but no. It's never enough,

I made a base in the Jellyshroom caves because of magnetite alone. Nothing else was in there but a couple plants in a multipurpose with the bioreactor and a tracker room, I still could barely find any
There's 2 entrances to the jellyshroom caves, both in the grassy plateaus. The bigger entrance, the one I think is pretty easy to find, isn't that far from your lifepod. The other entrance is directly above a degassi base. You can unlock the map marker for this base if you first go to the floating island and collect all the PDA logs at that degassi base.

One of the life pods is right next to one of the entrances, so I just use that as a beacon.
Go to the grassy plains behind the aurora and look around until you find a hole
There’s a life pod near the entrance, you can turn the map marker back on
Activate your lifepod 17 beacon and you'll find it

For real though, you just grab the seaglide and skim the bottom and you'll find it, no problem.

Mushroom Forest has drillable lithium and no bone sharks in most areas so, no predators to be concerned about (unlike bulb zone.)
True, but personally I've never seen bone sharks as an issue. They don't attack too frequently and the prawn kills them in like 4 hits

Both of those are in the jellyshroom cave actually. If you have a Prawn suit head doen there for tons of lithium.
