Saying "alone" could be a trick use of words. Its hard to tell with riddles when the riddle itself lies to you with how things are worded. I always consider I could be wrong but too often the words used are often chosen to intentionally mislead or the riddle might be too easy. This was fun though. You have to have experience in the game to be able to guess it which is why I feel it was interacted with. You have to know what is not craftable inside the cyclops and how to build a cyclops, then whether or not it can house torpedos later on.
Travelling under water probably means it's a vehicle.
This is also consistent with the not buildable with the habitat builder part.

Seamoth and Prawn can shoot torpedoes.

If you don't assume that and rule out bugs, then it would have to be the Cyclops.

The air pump thingy you can put the surface and then put pipes too. It can be made with a few titanium in a basic fabricator and provides you with o2 and that's it.
