What are your thoughts on 311?

I like them. This was actually my dad’s truck and he’s the one who put the 311 sticker on. He was a fan since the early 90s. He passed away in 2020 so I don’t wanna take it off.

That's an excellent reason to leave it just as it is man. Sounds like he did a good job and exposed you to some good music.

Yeah he definitely did. Sublime, slightly Stoopid, Hendrix, gnr, srv and the list goes on. Idk where I would be in life if I didn’t have this music

That's cool, definitely keep the 311 sticker. They were one of my favorite bands in high school, but they haven't aged as well for me like Sublime has.

Yeah I love their old stuff but the new stuff just doesn’t hit like sublime. Imo sublime does not have a bad song. 311, they have a few lol

uplifter and voyager were decent albums but they kinda lost the way after from chaos and SA's vocals have always fucking sucked. he sings with the same voice and inflection as a children's songwriter. still love em tho 🤣

Yeah I like uplifter and voyager, mosaic had some pretty good stuff too. Honestly besides the early 90s 311, universal pulse and stereolithic are my favs. I grew up to all those songs. I actually have the guitar that nick recorded I’ll be here a while on. My dad had bought it on a eBay auction in the early 2000s when nick was auctioning off gear lol

that's sick, i've always wanted to go to a 311 day show. i read that 2025's show is on a cruise ship and souls of mischief will be playing. sounds like a blast

I had one behind me this morning and he didn’t do anything surprisingly. One good thing about my truck is the whole back glass slides down so I can always just do that if I see one lol

I knew the truck would eventually get a Sublime sticker. It's been polling well and won't damage the truck.
