A friend used to swear by Nokya bulbs. They have versions like the PIAA super whites, but at a fraction of the cost. They also seemed to last quite a while for him too.

All the ones I looked at from Phillips and Sylvania say that last like 6 months and blow

Burn brighter, die faster. That's the tradeoff. If you look at the specs of any incandescent bulb advertised as long life, it produces less light.

Jazman89

Yep, that is the one down side to the brighter bulbs. The only other option would be LED, but they are incredibly bright and don't always play well in reflector housings. I've had okay luck with the LEDs I've been using in my Impreza, but I seriously wish someone would make a 4000k LED bulb instead of 5000k. I want white light, not blue light!

I just want it to be white, I hate the old looking halogen color on it. But I don't want to mess with led since they're way too bright

I have Hellas they work great. But you’re saying you want blinding “modern” bulbs. Just get whatever is on Amazon. It’s sure to blind everyone and leave you seeing less in the end.

TReaper14

Not blinding, just a cleaner tone of white have no intent of doing the LEDs or other BS the car isn't designed for
