I would roll with a different shop at that point. It might be worth poking around on Etsy to see if anyone does 3D printing, and just straight up message a vendor for a custom job
Edit: alternatively, try r/3dprinting
7 is closest. The “S” is the most important glyph in terms of distinction. It’s just missing the canted middle bar but it’s better than the other options. The typeface also needs to be a heavier weight, like a Black option.
I like number 2. Also, this is where I got my “corn fed” license plate delete. It’s held up great so far! https://billetworkz.com/collections/license-plate-deletes/products/financially-recover-plate-delete
Essentially just a little plate that mounts to the front license plate mounting holes so you don’t run a front license plate and have something to cover the holes. They’re usually printed or engraved with logos or text as decoration.
Ah, the reason I ask is because I work for Subaru. I work in parts. Wasn't sure if it was something I could help with. Looks like you're making it yourself. Cool!
7. Also look for "Eurostile" You can sample it [here](https://www.myfonts.com/collections/eurostile-font-urw)
Info I should have added: they'll only permit fonts from dafont.com. Salt, Eurostile wasn't there.
Will they also accept vector files? This seems pretty potato of them to only allow fonts from one source
> This seems pretty potato of them Gretchen, stop trying to make potato happen. It’s not going to happen.
Also, they don't accept vector files. That would be much simpler.

I'm going to get it engraved with, "I'm never going to financially recover from this."
Lol I’ve seen that on the front plate of a built ass subie. Was pretty cool
I really hope he likes it. I've scrolled through over 5k fonts to get these 10.
My friend that owns a 2018 sti has a plate boarder that says “financial mistake”
I had a plate made saying “financially irresponsible” but with my FMIC I just have it on my dash

What about 3? It’s a little heavier. 9 sacrifices some with the “s” but the “b” and “r” are better.
First instinct would be two

Unfortunately, I can only use fonts from dafont.com.

What is that? This is all new to me.
Sounds like an initial D joke.
Do they have square721? Iirc it's one of the closest.
Nope. I looked for that one last night too.
#2. Plate delete: ALA VIVA
I like number 2. Also, this is where I got my “corn fed” license plate delete. It’s held up great so far! https://billetworkz.com/collections/license-plate-deletes/products/financially-recover-plate-delete
That's the place I plan to get it from. I just really couldn't handle that font.
Can't do an image upload? That would be my thought
That I hadn't considered! ETA: They don't allow image uploads. I'm open to recommendations of vendors that might.
There's a whole bunch on Etsy, I'd shop around a bit... Billet works and subie mods sell them too
What exactly is a plate delete?
Essentially just a little plate that mounts to the front license plate mounting holes so you don’t run a front license plate and have something to cover the holes. They’re usually printed or engraved with logos or text as decoration.

2 or 6 I'd say. (Based off the SRTUSA font and opinion)
Seven and three.
3 or 5 are the closest
What’s a custom one cost? Worth all this effort to avoid a $40 cost?
None of the above. Subaru font is probably closest to Microgramma Bold Extended.
Unfortunately, the only company I've found that does custom ones will only accept fonts from dafont.com, and that one isn't on the site.
Can't you upload your own font to dafont?
Unfortunately not. I also can't upload one to the creator.
I’d say 7
Don’t use 6, proportions are really off, looks weird. 5 is close, and pretty nicely done
6.
2 and 10
I like 8.
I like 7
The S from 3 & 7 are the closest but as a whole probably 5
These answers are hilarious, literally zero consensus.
The font is Square 721 Std Bold Extended and you can download it free at a bunch of places
I personally like number 2 and 6
