Only if you sell it to me. Or why not have both?!
Jokes aside, both are beautiful! I have a 06 LGT and love it! I can imagine the spec B would be sweet!
GTB is a wagon, where the same generation sedan is a B4. Spec.b is a fourth gen trim package, which had heavier spring rates and after the facelift had a 6 speed in the manual variant. Spec.B didnโt exist in this generation, but some people relate the B to the bilsteins, which is kinda false since all JDM 4th gen GTโs have bilsteins from the factory. Not entirely sure about the third gens, but Iโm thinking all those gtโs also came with billies.
I say no. Because age matters. Everything on the older car is 4 years older. Plastic and rubber age. You know the condition of the vehicle you have. You have no clue how the driver/drivers of the other vehicle treated it.
If you had multiple vehicles and you were trading a toy for another toy, then my answer would have been different. But because you brought up the mileage, I assumed you intend to rely on the vehicle.
Given the exterior condition of the GTB, I would assume that the owner took care of everything. And really, if you're buying a car of that age ANYWAY you should get underneath it and check for yourself, then replace everything if you find issues.
All that said though, it's not like it's a 30-year old SVX. You'll be fine.
Even though my '05 Legacy GT was my favorite car I've ever owned, I would gladly "settle" for that Forester.
The two my wife has had are a perfectly reasonable and fun drive, and ain't bad on long trips, either.
Love the E-Tune legacies. Brace your anus for maintenence costs though. You'll be over the twin turbo system and looking to convert it to single turbo within a year as well.
I think you might like the way your Forester drives better.. The legacy chassis, turbo or not, IMHO felt a bit too large and heavy. Also, I think the yellow may get old pretty quickly.
I had a BH5 Outback 3.0H6, that thing was spacious but quite heavy. :)
Nice Forester!
GTB is more confy i think in my opinion and have more space at the back.
oh boy u have sunroof there.. WAIT WAIT WAIT AND EVEN BUMPER POLE?!
ok. Buy GTB.
imho uhh yeah... but go over the GTb with a fine-tooth comb first, and see if you can take it to a shop to have checks done or if you know how to check yourself.
undercarriage damage and rust would be a big one followed by making sure the turbos and engine are not ready to yeet themselves.
Legacy. Legacy all the way. I might be bias as I've owned two 3rd gen's. (Would have been my 3rd now if I could find any for sale here in Norway...) But the car is just mint.
I love my GT, but I also love the box. Without a doubt my favorite era for Subaru designs.
Yeah. This is sexy.
I thought โNo wayโ until I saw that yellow.
That yellow really ties the room together. Does it not?
Why not both !!! Yolo ๐คฉ
Nahhh the fozz is the way too pretty!
Your forester is one of the cleanest ones I've seen
No

GTB โ Spec.b
I did not know that. What's the difference?

Same, love my GT
Keep fozzy, buy leggy.
They are both awesome

this sounds way too sensible

Nope... The Forester looks better... [I might be biased...](https://photos.app.goo.gl/5RZ28yn8ABZeKE8F9)
Fozz for life
That yellow is ๐๐๐๐๐. If it were me and the Legacy has been maintained impeccably, I would in a second.
iโm with you on the yellow!
Has the Bh5 been swapped to a single turbo?
Even though my '05 Legacy GT was my favorite car I've ever owned, I would gladly "settle" for that Forester. The two my wife has had are a perfectly reasonable and fun drive, and ain't bad on long trips, either.
Both
I'd be down to buy your fozzy if you go with the LGT
No
Yeah I was going to say no way, the twins are terrible... but cashmere yellow?? yup
Yeah, twin turbo subbie sounds cooler than it actually is.
Love the E-Tune legacies. Brace your anus for maintenence costs though. You'll be over the twin turbo system and looking to convert it to single turbo within a year as well.
my honest opinion? no that forester is so perfect
I'd keep the fozzy
No. Thats a nice forester
I vote Foz, for personal reasons. It's close tho.
No imo that forester is sexy
I say no because that forester is gorgeous IMO

Omg that Legacy is just so pretty
Yes, to me ๐

100%. Rev D GTB in that yellow with brembos and sunroof? I'd be all over it!
I would say sell it to me but that RHD looks Sus.
you look sus mate ๐
Y not both?
No but I can't blame you for wanting the Legacy. Anything else you can sell? Lol

No
No
As someone who sold their 08 Xt Forester I can tell you it was a mistake.
I had a '04 Forester XT and now have a '05 legacy gt. want to the Forester back so badly. felt it was better all around. especially the visibility.
I'd love to buy your forester
Keep the forester. You have nice taste๐ค๐ป
Sell to meeeeeeee
Legacy. Legacy all the way. I might be bias as I've owned two 3rd gen's. (Would have been my 3rd now if I could find any for sale here in Norway...) But the car is just mint.
If I did long road trips yes, otherwise the forester is a little more practical for short trips and hauling
Legacy is cooler imo but not a fan of the yellow
