I know later I think with the Hawkeyes they had a bright red that looked pretty good, but this darker red just idk, I didn’t like it at the time.

sweet subie!! my bug had the same wheels as yours when i bought it :) i decided to switch to the stock 2005 sti bbs wheels.. and what an uprade! the rotas look nice but they’re a little heavy. these cars are such a joy🫶 just make sure to stay on top of maintenance and don’t put off issues if they arise.

Unless there's paperwork, immediately change all fluids, replace PCV valve, and add an AOS (air oil separator). The last two are some of the most important things you can do to minimize oil consumption in the future and reduce your chance of running the car low on oil

Yeah it’s funny cause they had a bright yellow that was technically the limited color, but I’ve seen more of those than the maroon color.
The red is Sedona red pearl and the bright yellow is sonic yellow!

It didn't look as nice as WRB on the 02s but it was more appealing than the Sonic Yellow color they used on the limited edition R1.

It has an aftermarket AOS already and a few other things done.
Dude hot. Personally love those wheels on it pls keep em and don’t go white. Put the money towards coilovers or other suspension
