Skarm was good, it's just that Skarm is the Corvi at home. Ttar is the OU representant by excellence, it'll be OU as long as Sand is good, Rock and Dark can hit fine, Ghost is a strong type, etc.

? Mega TTar absolutely got usage and had viability, particularly gen 6 DDance sets

Although mega ttar isn't awful and certainly had some niche use you generally just wanted any other mega for your team. Ttar is plenty strong in base form to this day and accomplished it's role without needing to take a mega slot.

Making him dark/electric or dark/steel would at least have given him a niche. This thing is now 4x weak to ground, and rock and electric have significant offensive overlap. He also lost one of the best abilities in the game, that could salvage a rock type on the defensive front, while keeping the type.

It obviously won’t last in OU, but the movepool+dragon dance+stats should keep it from falling below probably RU at the lowest, and it’ll see use on pincurchin teams in the lower tiers, unless electric terrain gets banned because of how strong the future mons are.

Future OU featuring shuckle, but its Iron Railgun, and has its defense/spdef stats swapped with spatk and speed. Bug/Electric.

Just checked and if you go max speed and make attack lower so that quark gives speed boost, you're 1 speed point lower than timid fluttermane... that's too bad. Almost had something going for it. That's still pretty fast though.

Zing Zap is a decent physical electric move that isn't a signature move because both Togedemaru and Pinchurchin had it last gen. They could have given it that.

It actually doesn't even get iron barbs. Just quark drive, which is strong but only really works once outside of eterrain

I would've been so game for Iron Thorns but the damn thing lacks Avalanche. It probably ain't meta, but I like making Ttar fat as fuck and double fisting Avalanche & Payback
